Notes: Dual 1 x 4 buffered mult (one audio or cv signal in with multiple buffered outputs).

On the back of the pcb is a pair of solder points marked as "link". You can connect these (with a solder blob or small jumper wire) to turn the mult into a single 8 channel Mult instead of 2 x 4 channel.

Notes: 'Beast's Chalkboard' is dual channel stepped voltage source and adder for your eurorack modular synthesizer system. It primarily is intended as a dual octave switcher for VCO's but has many other uses including sequence transposition, FM ratio creation, buffered CV distribution and VCO calibration.

Notes: An expander for Zadar, adding one more assignable input for each Zadar channel and manual triggers.

Notes: The Buff Mult is a buffered multiple with LED indicators to show positive and negative voltages. Using wide bandwidth opamps, it functions as a dual 1-to-3 or a single 1-to-6 mult for audio, video, or CV signals.

Notes: Module A-182-1 is a simple passive multi-connector similar to the multiples modules A-180-1/A-180-2. In contrast to modules A-180-1/2 each socket is equipped with a 3-position switch that allows to connect the corresponding socket to the internal bus #1 (left position), bus #2 (right position) or to turn the socket off (centre position).

Notes: The 333 is a summing and distribution module for Eurorack modular systems.

It is composed of three identical sections, the red, yellow and green, each of those featuring three inputs summing amplifier with three independently buffered outputs.

Derived directly from the CGM creative mixer series, the sum section is DC coupled, allowing the sum of control voltages as well as audio signals.

With an extremely low tolerance in both sum and output sections, it is suitable also for summing quantized voltages like the ones coming out from the quantized outputs of the SAPEL.

In case CVs or audio signals are particularly hot, the 6dB attenuator might be helpful to reduce exactly by 50% the incoming signals.

Red and yellow output are also normalled to the 1st jack socket of the yellow and green input: in this way this module can also work as a 1 to 9 buffered multiple.

Notes: The Shifty is essentially a combination of four sample and hold stages, a sequential gate and sequencer controller. This collection of functions allows for some specific and useful utility application.

One of the primary uses for Shifty is to take a monophonic sequence source and route each new note of the sequence to up to four different synthesizer voices in a specific pattern. In this way you can create pseudo polyphonic sequences since each voice can be triggered to play and sustain while the next voice int the sequence gets triggered. Another term for this is hocketing.

The other main application of the Shifty is to function as an Analog Shift Register. In this mode each new gate input received causes the current set of pitches to be shifted to new output locations as a new one is added and the oldest one is replaced. This can be an interesting way to create chords that are up to four stacked notes when used with a pitch sequence source that has a harmonious series of notes (e.g. a pentatonic scale works really well). Even just using two of the outputs will yield very interesting melodic interplay and is an excellent way to make a simple sequence much more complex and interesting.

In a more basic way the Shifty could be used as a simple Sample/Track and Hold module or as a sequential gate.

Notes: Module A-180-3 is a dual buffered 1-in-3 multiple. The signal applied to the input socket appears as a buffered signal at the three output sockets. Each output has its own buffer, i.e. the three output sockets are not simply connected to each other. The lower output of the upper unit is normalled in the factory to the input of the lower unit. That way the module works as a single 1-in-6 buffered multiple provided that no signal is applied to the input of the lower unit. But it's also possible to pick-up the bus CV and normalize the input socket of the lower unit to the bus CV.

The ASSIMIL8OR is a CV/Gate-controllable sampler with eight independent channels. Each channel is not only its own voice, but also has a separate audio output and a gate/trigger and three CV inputs. Given ever get two sample inputs and main outputs. Thus, Stereo Sampling and playback is possible. Mixed operation of stereo or mono is possible and is limited only by the maximum number of eight channels or parts.

The ASSIMIL8OR works with high-quality 24-bit AD and DA converters. Internally, however, sample and bit rate for lo-fi sound can be lowered, the latter is even CV-controllable. The samples can also be otherwise manipulated in many ways. Thus, the phase of a sample via CV or a different sample can be modulated. Likewise, the loop points can be controlled and the sample can be traversed with CV control (scrubbing), whereby wavetable similar effects could be achieved. ALM034-EX

PPEXP1 & PPEXP2 are two expander modules for Pamela's PRO Workout that both offer additional dedicated fixed clock, Din Sync & MIDI clock outputs.

Extend Pam as a master to clock external gear with super solid dedicated MIDI & Din Sync clock outputs. The Din Sync clock (x24) and Run outputs can also be patched into a 2nd Pam to easily sync it.

Use the extra fixed clocked gate outputs to free up Pam's main outputs for unique sequencing or complex modulation duties.

Connects directly to and is powered by the 'MIDI-EX' expander header on rear of Pamela's PRO Workout.

Only a single output expander is supported at any time but either can be used alongside an AXON-1 CV input expander.

A MIDI adapter cable and a Din Sync adapter cable are both available for connecting to 5 pin 'Din' type connectors. The PPEXP 1 includes a MIDI Din adapter cable.

Notes: The 2hp Buff is a buffered multiple capable of splitting an input signal to multiple outputs. Due to its active architecture, inputs retain their full integrity as they are copied to multiple destinations. One input signal can be copied to six outputs, or two inputs can be copied to three outputs each. The Buff is especially great for splitting pitch or audio signals where signal integrity is critical. Tete is the long awaited and highly anticipated expander for the Tetrapad.

Some of the key features:

Three primary modes: VOLTAGES, NOTES and COMBO.

VOLTAGES mode:

Up to 16 voltage storage locations (grid) with 8 voltages stored at each location.

You have the choice to record and playback your recall of these locations in a looper style (just play freely and spend arbitrary amount of time at any location) or as a clocked sequence (SH-101 style). Additionally you can traverse the matrix using the X and Y CV inputs to get Cartesian style sequencing.

There is also variable slew that allows you to morph/glide between the values.

NOTES mode:

You can create sequences or loops in chord, scales or keyboard mode. The isomorphic keyboard grid can vary from 4 notes to 12 notes max. There are real-time performance looping, transposition and inversion capabilities via the CV inputs and dedicated loop button. In sequencer mode each step can be a tie, rest, or gate with size 25/50/75%. Basically we have created a way to very quickly and intuitively make chord sequences that are very musical and easy to manipulate. It is difficult to summarize in words but we will be sure to create some videos to demonstrate how easy and fun this is to play with. It definitely represents something unique in the landscape of Eurorack sequencers.

COMBO mode:

In this mode you can loop record your performance on any combination of the following functions:

fader, bipolar fader, drum hit, switch or LFO. Kind of like Elektron style parameter locking but all of the motions is recorded continuously instead of just in slices. Instantly turn a simple patch into a highly animated and complex beast.

With all of the above mentioned loop recording modes you can very easily overdub since the Tetrapad detects pressure/pressing. In combo mode you can erase individual channels.

All modes allow for internal or external clocking and configurable syncing.

All of the modes have special XYZ CV modulation assignments and make use of the dedicated CV outputs.

For example, in Looper mode one of the CV outputs generates a continuous ramp that represents the position in the loop. This can be used with devices like the Planar 2 in Interpolation mode to sync the recorded patterns together no matter what tempo.

Notes: AXON-2 is an 8HP expander module for the SQUID SALMPLE, MFX and Pamela's PRO Workout that like the AXON-1 provides 4 additional freely assignable CV inputs but additionally adds manual offset controls and 2 additional 'performance' buttons.

The addition of AXON-2 increases the Squid, MFX or Pam PRO's total number of CV inputs by 4, greatly increasing the possibilities for vast modular manipulation. Each of the CV inputs includes an offset for hands on control over parameters assigned to CV. Per assignment digital attenuation and offset via the host module is also available for fine tuning the modulation or control over parameters.

The AXON-2's large buttons are great for controlling select functions in a live performance environment or adding convenient quick navigation shortcuts when making edits. The buttons functionality and assignability are dependent on the host module. See respective manuals for details.

NOTE: AXON-2 support requires the latest firmware be installed for Pam Pro (120 or newer), Squid (187 or newer) and MFX (105 or newer).

Notes: 'Multiples' are the classic solution to a common problem in modular synthesisers: how to distribute one output signal to multiple inputs. Simple passive multiples consist of several sockets, wired together.

Link 2 is a buffered multiples module. Each output is independently buffered using active electronics. This avoids many of the problems with passive multiples: signal cuts when patching cables, loading effects when driving many inputs etc. The high-end components provide exceptionally low noise and distortion, making Link 2 suitable for audio, CVs and gates/triggers. And unlike most buffered multiples modules currently available, it retains the accuracy of pitch control voltages to the last cent.

With only the top input socket in use, the signal is sent to all 6 outputs. Plugging a cable into the bottom input socket separates Link 2 into dual 3-way multiples, adding flexibility to your patching.

Notes: Expander module adds four more assignable CV inputs to Squid Salmple for advanced modulation and sample manipulation. A must for all Squid Salmple owners.

AXON-1 is a 4HP expander module for the SQUID SALMPLE that provides 4 additional freely assignable CV inputs.

The addition of AXON-1 brings Squid's total number of CV inputs to 7, greatly increasing the possibilities for vast modular sample manipulation.

Each modulation assignment includes digital attenuation and offset and behaves just like Squid's 3 built in CV inputs.

AXON-1 requires firmware 166 or later installed on the Squid Salmple to function!

Notes: Creatively inspiring business from Xaoc as usual. The Erfurt is a digital phase accumulator, digital oscillator, binary counter or clock/audio frequency divider. Versatile stuff.

Supplier's Notes:
Xaoc Devices Erfurt is a digital module that may be used as an 8-output clock and audio frequency divider, a bi-directional binary counter, or a component of the Leibniz binary system, i.e. a programmable digital oscillator.

Erfurt features an 8-bit register which holds its current state: an 8-bit number representing digital values from 0 to 255. The state is available at the front panel via eight binary (5V gate) outputs and reflected by the 8 status LEDs. There are three clock inputs: one incrementing the state at each impulse, one decrementing, and one resetting the state to zero. The state may also be changed manually with two buttons.

When operating alone, the state of Erfurt changes by 1 at each impulse from the clock inputs, so that it counts from 0 to 255 in a cycle (modulo 256). This yields the signal frequency divided by 2, 4, 8, etc. up to 128, available at individual bit outputs. Depending on which clock input is used, the clock patterns correspond to the so called mathematical or musical divisions of the rhythm.

With two different clocks patched to the inputs, the counter alternately increases and decreases its state, and ultimately it counts with a rate proportional to the frequency difference between the clocks. A third clock patched to the Reset input may be used to shorten the sequence thus making the cycle incomplete for even more rhythmic diversity.

When there is a Leibniz data source connected at the back (even as simple as Lipsk), the state increases or decreases in larger steps, depending on the data present at the Leibniz bus (eg. the value programmed by the Lipsk buttons). The counter overflows quicker, and produces more complex patterns.

The state of the counter may be used as a phase input to a digital wave table. Connected to other Leibniz modules, Erfurt may play various roles, eg. it may scan waveshapes in Jena, produce stepped voltages useful for making interesting glissandi with Drezno and any VCO, generate gate patterns animating the spectrum of Odessa harmonic banks, spawn pseudo-chaotic sequences when fed back to Lipsk, etc. Since Erfurt is based on CMOS logic (no CPU!), it can be clocked at very high frequencies (exceeding audio rate), therefore some selection switches are provided for clock pre-scaling.

Notes: Switched mults come to Intellijel's space-saving 1U format, offering six jacks and two busses, routing signals between the two or muting them using three-position switches.

Supplier's Notes:
The Mult 1U takes one audio or CV signal input, and (mult)iplies to up to four outputs. Because the Mult is passive, it requires no power to operate. Multiply anything by four, twice.

A signal multiplier accepts an input signal and routes it to multiple outputs simultaneously. For example, you might want a sequencer's GATE to trigger two different envelopes - one to control volume and one to control filter frequency. In order to accomplish this, you need a signal multiplier.

In addition, each Switched Mult 1U features a pair of 3-pin Link connectors on the rear panel. These let you connect other 3-pin Link devices, such as an XY I/O 1U module, or even additional Switched Mult 1U modules (handy for distributing mults across the width of your case).

Notes: Performance-focussed four-channel attenuverter and offset module, with built-in voltage generator for 0-5v or i5v voltages. Simple but effective.

Supplier's Notes:
Lapsus Os is a four channel attenuator/attenuverter and offset. Designed with performance in mind, each channel can be set to either attenuate or attenuate/invert an incoming signal, adjust offset of an incoming signal, or with nothing patched to its input, generate a 0-5v or i5v offset. Switches on the back of the module invert the fader behavior, allowing for the module to be mounted in either direction, for further customization and ease of use.

Interface

Faders 1-4: The main controls of LO. The LEDs in the faders show the CV that is being passed through. When in attenuverter mode, the LED will be off at 0, allowing each fader to easily be set near 0.

Offset inputs 1-4 (+): Sending a signal to these inputs adds an offset to the input, controlled by the fader and the mode switch.

Outputs: Each channel has a pair of identical outputs. If nothing is sent to either input of a channel, an offset will be generated and output here, useful for controlling parameters on other modules with a single fader.

Uni/Bi Switches 1-4: In the Unipolar position (left), the corresponding channel attenuates the input signal. In the Bipolar position (right), the upper half of the corresponding channel fader attenuates the input signal, the lower half of the fader inverts and attenuates the signal.

Attenuating/attenuverting inputs 1-4 (x): Sending a signal to these inputs attenuates/attenuverts the signal, depending on the position of the channel fader and switch.

Rear-board switches: Below, in red. Inverts the corresponding channel, allowing for creative mounting in either direction. Note that each channel must be switched independently to fully reverse the functionality.

Patch Tutorial

Patch 1: Set a channel switch to the left position and patch the outputs to CV inputs on another module (for instance, Loquelic Iteritas). The fader becomes an easy-to-use controller for those parameters. Patch the rest of the LO channels to other parameters in your system to create an expressive and intuitive interface.

Patch 2: Patch a CV signal (such as an LFO) into the attenuverting input of a channel. Set the channel switch to the right position, and patch the output to a bipolar CV input in your system. Tweak the fader to attenuvert and dial in the perfect amount of modulation on the fly.

Patch 3: In a case with four voices route each LO channel to the decay control for each voice. Use for centralized control over voicing.

MIDI CLOCK
Eloquencer can receive 24ppqn sync from MIDI device from its DIN-5 MIDI Input, and can send 24ppqn MIDI clock through its DIN-5 MIDI out.
When working as 'internal' it will send the internal clock to the MIDI output.
When working as 'external' will send the eurorack incoming clock to the MIDI output transformed into 24ppqn.

MIDI OUT
The Eloquencer tracks can be independently assigned to:
- Voice events (note on/off, velocity, ch pressure...) For example Track A can be assigned to Channel 1 Note on/off and Track B can be assigned to Channel 1 Velocity, so track A gates and CV control Channel 1 notes and pitch, and track B controls Channel 1 Velocity.
- Control Change (CC)
- Program Change (PC)

The gate and CV output will work as usual when a MIDI OUTPUT is assigned, so voices can be doubled using the modular and an external synth.

There's a particular execution order for MIDI out events, so the first to be launched is the Program Change, followed by the CC and then the voice events. This way, we can launch program changes before the note on message is received allowing preset changes for each step.

MIDI IN
Both, the DIN-5 MIDI in and the USB can be used to change eloquencer parameters using controllers or to introduce notes in REC MODE using a keyboard.

There are 3 different groups of controls associated to MIDI channels:
- Channel : 8 MIDI channels to control parameters of specific tracks from A to H
- Global : 1 MIDI channel to control Global parameters.
- Focus: 1 MIDI channel to control the parameters of the currently selected track (track in focus). That means that if Track A is selected and we send CC 38, we will be shifting track A, but if we select track B and we send the same CC 38, we will be shifting track B.

When using the USB host input, the EME can send feedback information in case the controller that is being used has LEDs to be updated.

There is a big amount of eloquencer parameters that can be controlled using an external MIDI interface / controller. For example:

MIDI INTERFACE

A MIDI Channel can be assigned to an Eloquencer Track, so the gate and CV outputs will stop listening to what is sequenced and start listening all note on/off messages coming from the chosen MIDI channel.

Notes: Add external feedback loops, tilt filters and more to the Timiszoara effects module with this versatile expander. A must-have for Timiszoara owners.

Deva is an expander for Xaoc Devices' Timiszoara multi-fx module designed for creative exploration of the dirty/nasty side of signal processing. Deva opens up the Timiszoara programs you've come to love with some unexpected twists and turns along the way. The analog side features two external feedback loops (for the left and right channel) with tilt filters adjustable via sliders with two additional switches for choosing positive or negative feedback (for each channel). The third slider controls the DAC clock - from overclocking by a factor of two down to 16-times slower, so you can go from chipmunk to hardcore teeth gnashing of underclocked goodness. A switch allows for turning the clock control off for normal/regular operation. All features have inputs for external CV.

This is a buffered/active mult with LED indicator. You get two channels of 1 to 3 multiples within a 2HP module. The output of channel 1 is normalled to channel 2 so it can also be treated as a 1 to 6 multiple as well.

Active vs Passive mults:

With a passive mult you are effectively just plugging multiple things into the same jacks. This will often cause some voltage drop in each of the signals. With an active (or buffered) mult you will not get any voltage drop from the original signal.

Comes with a black and gold panel, power cable and one year warranty.

Usage note:

The red stripe of the power ribbon cable goes towards the top of this module.

Notes: A 22hp version of Mutable Instruments Elements. It is functionally equivalent and therefore runs all firmware options and having identical sound characteristics. This version is great compromise between the tight spacing of Atom and full size original, which is a bit large.

Notes: Welcome to the DROID X7 expander. The X7 gives you USB and MIDI connectivity for your master and also four gate outputs with modular levels.

You can process incoming and generate outgoing MIDI streams, both via classical DIN cables and via USB. Both the in and the out direction support polyphony with eight or even more voices in parallel.

For size reasons the X7 uses 3.5 mm TRS jacks for MIDI instead of the classical DIN jacks. But it comes with two DIN to TRS adapters, so you are free to use either form factor.

As a bonus feature, the X7 provides super fast loading of DROID patches via USB - without any need for putting the SD card in and out anymore.

Messor is an analogue stereo compressor with lots of tricks up its sleeve, in only 8HP.

From squashing drums, sidechaining kicks and sculpting transients, to glueing a mix together, it's a very versatile dynamics manager.

At its core it's a VCA based feed-forward compressor with a low noise signal path. The magic is in the internal sidechain that shapes the gain reduction envelope. This starts with a a switchable high-pass / low-pass filter, before going into a precision envelope follower, controlled by familiar parameters: the attack, release, threshold, ratio and makeup gain.

The ratio can go past limiting and into over-compression, which can completely reshape transients, a great tool for sound design.

Being modular, of course there are CV inputs for Attack, Release and the side-chain Filter cutoff. The Gain CV controls the makeup gain, but also doubles as a Stereo VCA with the Gain knob turned fully CCW.

The gain reduction envelope is also available as an output, for turning filters or other VCA's into compressors for example, or as a standalone envelope follower.

There's a bypass switch, and a Warm mode, that can bring in a bit of additional saturation and compression in the form of analog tube simulation circuitry.

Lastly there's the possibility to insert an external sidechain, for that classic kick sidechain compression.

Mixer section

Each channel has the following:

Stereo or mono - Each channel can be treated as a stereo channel or a mono channel with two summed inputs.

CV inputs for both panning and level control

Two send buses - You can route each channel to one of two send buses. Each send bus is stereo. You can choose if you want the send to come before or after the level/panning controls.

Mute - The mute has both latching mute (up) and a momentary mute (down). The mute uses a capacitor to slow the turn off and on of the mute action. So it is mostly click-less, but you may find an occasional pop.

Cue bus - You can route each channel to the cue bus.

Expandable Mixer Series

Bartenders can be cascaded to create 8ch, 12ch, or 16ch mixer. The main level is what is sent the main level control can act as a group control.

Barbacks can be added to add 2ch to your mix. Barbacks can also be cascaded enabling up to a 16ch mixer configuration.

Send-VCA can be added for CV control of the level of the send.

DVCA, Cast Iron, Mingles, and USB-2CH can all be connected with Dupont cables (aka female to female breadboard cables) via pin headers on the back of the modules. Connecting the in and out pins will send/receive the audio into the next module.

PPEXP1 & PPEXP2 are two expander modules for Pamela's PRO Workout that both offer additional dedicated fixed clock, Din Sync & MIDI clock outputs.

Extend Pam as a master to clock external gear with super solid dedicated MIDI & Din Sync clock outputs. The Din Sync clock (x24) and Run outputs can also be patched into a 2nd Pam to easily sync it.

Use the extra fixed clocked gate outputs to free up Pam's main outputs for unique sequencing or complex modulation duties.
