The precision-engineered die-cast platter is accelerated by a powerful motor with a high-torque direct drive of more than 1.8 kg/cm. The precise motor control with 3 speeds (33 1/3, 45 & 78 rpm) allows for the RP-4000 MK2 to play back any record. The pitch section with a selectable range of +/-8% and +/-16%, respectively, is suitable for the finest pitch adjustments.
The RP-4000 MK2 features a statically balanced s-shaped tone arm with hydraulic lift and anti-skating mechanism. Via the universal connection for pick-up systems (SME) a large number of pick-up systems can be connected.
The new deep black metallic top panel construction is equipped with metallic buttons for start/stop, platter speed, pitch control, reverse function and tempo reset. The improved touch upon hit offers a clear haptic feedback. The sturdy construction with optimized damping features and shock-absorbing feet improve isolation from unwanted vibrations.
The MZ-223 allows multiple audio sources to be mixed, segregated, and routed to three (3) independent zones or destinations using familiar volume sliders and assignment buttons. Input signals can be inserted via five (5) audio channels, each consisting of two (2) sets of unbalanced RCA-type stereo pairs. A total of ten (10) sets of RCA-type inputs are provided. Channels one and two can be set to accommodate phono-level signals for use with a turntable. In addition, located conveniently on the front panel, two mic-compatible XLR inputs are available.
Multiple Zone Outputs:
The independent three-zone outputs each have a combination of balanced professional XLR or RCA unbalanced configurations for long runs or connection to common residential power amplifiers or speakers. This flexibility, for example, allows music to be routed to zone one, ambient noise or natural sounds to zone two, a separate music track or a voice announcement can be routed to zone three, while the convenient "talkover" function will automatically lower any mixed channel source so the microphone can be heard while speaking.
Easy, Immediate Control:
Familiar volume sliders, routing switches/buttons, EQ knobs, and mute buttons for the microphones make the MZ-223 simple and fast to operate and set up. There is even a master recording stereo output, which can send audio to an external recorder which makes event capturing easy. The TASCAM MZ-223 delivers simple operation and maximum audio routing flexibility, all in a compact, affordable package.
The MZ-372 allows multiple audio sources (19 total) to be mixed, muted, and routed to two (2) redundant outputs, controlled by familiar volume sliders and assignment buttons. Input signals can be inserted via six (6) audio channels, each consisting of two (2) sets of unbalanced RCA-type stereo pairs, and six (6) XLR inputs for a total of twelve (12) sets of RCA-type inputs and six (6) XLR inputs. In addition, channels 2/3/4 can be set to accommodate phono-level signals for use with a turntable. Lastly, and located conveniently on the front panel, one additional XLR input is available driving a studio quality mic preamp and ducking circuit for easy voiceover and announcement work.
Multiple Zone Outputs:
Twin outputs each feature a combination of balanced XLR or RCA unbalanced connectors for easy integration into virtually any audio system. This flexibility allows combinations of microphones, CD/DVD/Blu-ray players, instruments - or any other audio source - to be selected or muted, and sent simultaneously to the dual outputs, each with its own volume control. Finally, the convenient "talkover" function will automatically lower any mixed channel source, so the microphone connected to the front panel can easily be can be heard in whichever zones you choose.
