Notes: Module A-199 is a spring reverb module. The reverb effect is electronically simulated by means of 3 spiral springs. Spring reverb systems have a very characteristic sound that is based on the (insufficient) mechanical properties of the springs like signal delays, audio resonances, limited frequency range, acoustic feedback behaviour, sensitivity to mechanical shocks and others.

The 3-spring system used in the A-199 ensures a "dense" reverb because of the different properties of the three springs.

The A-199 implies some special features that are not self-evident for spring reverb units:

The reverb signal can be fed back to the input using the Feedback control. Even self-oscillation of the springs similar to the self-oscillation of filters is available. The feedback loop can lead even via external modules like VCA, VCF, phaser, frequency shifter, vocoder, distortion/waveshaper, ring modulator and others. In this case the reverb output of the A-199 is connected to the input of the external module(s) and the output of the external module(s) is fed back to the Ext. Feedback In socket of the A-199. This socket contains a switch that interrupts the internal feedback loop as soon as a plug is inserted.

Another feature is the Emphasis control. This enables the adjustment of the accentuation of middle frequencies (around ~ 2kHz).

With the Mix control the relation between original and reverb signal appearing at the mix output is adjusted.

Using all these features very extreme and unusual effects can be generated with the A-199.

The new Release Switch on the Keeley Compressor Plus is designed to make it very easy to transition between single coil and humbucker guitars. Humbuckers have more average energy than single coils which can cause compressors to stay in "compression mode" for a lot longer. When this happens, any series of notes you play will sound dull. The Tone Control is Keeley's own design taken from analog delays and other vintage effects. Those effects used an emphasis circuit to recover treble and highs after they went through the BBD or other analog delay lines. That circuit was then taken and made it into a full fledged tone controll- it is the perfect way to gently add back in those highs lost in the compression process.

The Blend Control is a way of getting the peaks to come through while having sustain at the same time. So if you want sustain more than peak-limiting, this style of Manhattan Compression is for you! Keep all the peaks and transients with the Blend and Tone Controls while adding sustain on the back end. Heaven!

Notes: The 333 is a summing and distribution module for Eurorack modular systems.

It is composed of three identical sections, the red, yellow and green, each of those featuring three inputs summing amplifier with three independently buffered outputs.

Derived directly from the CGM creative mixer series, the sum section is DC coupled, allowing the sum of control voltages as well as audio signals.

With an extremely low tolerance in both sum and output sections, it is suitable also for summing quantized voltages like the ones coming out from the quantized outputs of the SAPEL.

In case CVs or audio signals are particularly hot, the 6dB attenuator might be helpful to reduce exactly by 50% the incoming signals.

Red and yellow output are also normalled to the 1st jack socket of the yellow and green input: in this way this module can also work as a 1 to 9 buffered multiple.

Notes: Arp is a gate-driven arpeggiator with a multitude of chord types and playback modes. Voltage control over both root note and chord type allow for sequencing any combination of chords in any key imaginable.

With the rate of the arpeggio and reset capability in your own hands, you're free to create dynamic rhythmic melodies from your favourite chords. Take your tonality for a ride with Arp.

Notes: Hat is a hi-hat cymbal with a wild side. Finding something unique is easy with a blend of sounds ranging from robotic to metallic. At its core are three unique sound sources made up of six oscillators, a noise generator, and a number of filters. Sizzle affects each source independently, adjusting oscillator and filter frequencies, allowing for a broad range of sounds. In addition, separate trigger inputs for open and closed allow for a complete hi-hat pattern on a single module. No matter what situation it's in, Hat provides shimmering, metallic timbres for any percussive purpose.

Notes: Triplatt is a three-channel active/buffered attenuverter and summing mixer. Each channel has a knob, which can function as a unipolar attenuator or a bipolar attenuverter, depending on the setting of its corresponding two-position polarity switch.

Each input is normalled to a built-in precision +5V DC voltage source. With nothing plugged into the jacks, each knob controls a voltage range of 0 to +5 V or -5 to +5 V depending on the position of the channel polarity switch. Outputs A and B are also capable of a range of 0-10 / -10 to +10 when using the special function switches.

Each output is normalled to mix into the output of the channel below, making it possible to do sub mixes in groups of two or three.

In addition, each channel has a "special function" switch to alter its input voltage in a specific way. Channel A has a 2x voltage multiplier switch, allowing you to double the voltage sent into Channel A. Channel B has a +5V switch, allowing you to add 5V to whatever voltage is sent into Channel B. Channel C has a mute switch, allowing you to completely turn off the signal being sent into Channel C.

Notes: Sometimes your ears are not enough and you really need to see the sounds and control voltages you are generating. Zeroscope's two channel design lets you display and compare both control voltages and audio. It's a good old fashioned sci-fi light show!

The Zeroscope 1U is an adaptation of the excellent 3U Zeroscope by VPME.DE.

Three Modes Packed Into 1U:

- Scope: Standard graphical display, with time displayed on the X-axis and voltage displayed on the Y-axis.
- X-Y: Alternate graphical display with CH 1 driving the X-axis and CH 2 driving the Y-axis.
- Tune: Alphanumerical tuning display, which you can configure to show either Hz values or note names.

The Scope displays have adjustable display offset for each channel and an adjustable trigger threshold, while the tuner has options for reference pitch and average update speed.
Ins & Outs

The inputs are DC coupled and accept signals between -10V and +10V. The Signal on the input is normalled to the output below; this allows you to monitor or tune a signal without a mult or re-patching.

Notes: The module contains two ADSR type voltage controlled envelope generators with exponential curve shapes (charge/discharge curves of a capacitor) behind a front panel with 8 HP only.

Each ADSR provides these controls and in/outputs:

The output voltage range for each envelope is 0 - 10V (10V = attack peak).

The time range of Attack/Decay/Release is about 1ms to 30s.

By means of internal jumpers one can select which time parameters are controlled by the CVT input (e.g. D only or D+R or A+D+R) and in which direction (i.e. if an increasing CVT shortens or stretches the time parameter in question).

Socket CVT can be normalled to an internal fixed voltage (i.e. the switching contact is connected to an internal fixed voltage). That way it's possible to change all time parameters simultaneously by means of the CVT control.

Another jumper is used to set output 2 to normal or inverted envelope.

And another jumper is used for the normalling of Gate 2 to Gate 1 (i.e. ADSR#2 is also triggered by Gate 1).

Two more jumpers are used for the optional bus access to the gate signal of the bus for each ADSR.

The ZONE B.F. (black edition onwards) now features an additional mode. On the back of the PCB you will find two jumpers, marked as JP1. CV1 is LFO channel 1 and CV2 is LFO channel 2. By moving the jumper so it sits on one leg (rather than 2 as when you have received the module), the Sync input for either LFO channel now becomes LFO speed input, controllable via CV.

Forbidden Planet has three filter input jacks: High Pass, Low Pass and Band Pass. The High Pass section is this module's signature sound - a crisp sharp-cut with no residue, designed to add High Pass filtering capability to Tiptop Audio's wide range of Eurorack modules. Send a throbbing kick drum through the High Pass section and filter out the rumbling lows while maintaining the pulse of the beat. The Bandpass is clear and useful in isolating a pie-slice-range-of-frequencies while cutting off the low and highs, great for accurate sound design or sculpting audio into that sweet spot. The circa-1980 Electro-Harmonix Attack Decay is a sought after prize among vintage pedal aficionados. Originally called a Tape Reverse Simulator, it's known for producing volume and reverse swells, backward tape sounds, artificially short staccato notes and bowed instrument effects. The freshly designed EHX Attack Decay reinterprets the classic and keeps its cool factor, but adds some modern features for convenience and enhanced functionality.

It can produce a single volume envelope like the original, or, with Poly engaged, put separate volume envelopes on each note you play. The built-in Harmonix fuzz is now a fully controllable distortion with gain, tone and volume controls. The effects loop allows the musician or sound designer to place the volume envelope onto whatever signal is present at the Return jack.
