Notes: The Vermona Mono Lancet Modular Dock is a eurorack module extension for the Mono Lancet.

The Mono Lancet Modular Dock from Vermona connects to the Vermona Mono Lancet via D-sub to extend its possibilities by adding pulse-width modulation, and frequency modulation, and interaction with other synth modules for the creation of incredible new soundscapes.

Notes: The Koma Elektronik SVF-201 is a state variable filter for the Eurorack modular synthesizer system. Its filter circuit is built up with optical parts (Vactrols) therefor delivering excellent studio audio quality and an unique warm analogue sound. The module uses parallel mounted PCBs so it can be used in skiffs as well as in big cases, the total depth is less than 4cm.

The unit comprises 4 x audio outputs that can be used independently of each other at the same time, a high pass, band pass, low pass and the unique first ever CV'able mix pass out. The mix pass out let's you sweep continuously through the other 3 outputs by means of a knob and control voltage. The SVF-201 offers an amazing sounding filter together with a well designed user friendly surface; a professional feeling inviting you to play it real good.

Notes: In our project Orage Magnetique to recreate a sound spaciolab to recreate sounds from space , this quad multimode filter has been designed to simulate the action of magnetic fluctuations on the sound landscape. The effecs of ionisation variations are modified by the different filters cutoff frequencies and the way they are synced. The module Fluctuations magnetiques (magnetic fluctuation) is a module from the modular synthesizer Orage Magnetique. This quad mutimode filter combines 4 independent multi-mode filters with selectable low-pass, band-pass & hi-pass. Each filter can be synced to one another to build to a 48dB low-pass/hi-pass filter or 24dB band-pass. Each filter has an modulation input and an individual output to create stereo effects a well as quadriphonic textures. The filters A & B and C & D can be used in parallel mode or serial mode.

Notes: MAGNETOSPHERE modules are elements from the Titan Capsule. Titan's sound is deeply distorted by the magnetosphere influence from Saturn. Depending on its orbital position, the magnetosphere influence is different.
To reproduce this influence, the Magnetosphere is a high-end 24 dB transitor low-pass filter with CV control of the resonance.

ionisation
The knob ionisation enables to adjust the ionisation created by the magnetosphere influence. This ionisation of the atmosphere produces sound variations.
Frequency control is 10-15000kHz

The knob reson enables to adjust the resonance from the ionisation variation to self-oscillation.

Notes: In our projet Orage Magnetique dedicated to the design of a sound spaciolab to recreate sounds from space, the module POLES enables to adapt the signal from magnetic polarisation to get the best sound simulation with dual amplification, attenuation, inversion and offset adjustment.

The module POLES offers 2 separate channels.

POLES enables to attenuate, invert & amplify a signal. It is very useful to adapt different signals to different inputs. It also enables to adjust the offset of your signal if you want to adapt it to +/- 5V or 0/+5 for example. If nothing is connected to the input, it will act as a fixed voltage source.

Notes: TITAN modules are elements from the Titan Capsule. They are sound generators built to recreate the sound of Titan haze. These transistors made oscillators have a wide range and a very particular sound. 2 TITAN modules will create deep and vibrant basses.

With the knob « densite des brumes », the sound will be shaped through Titan's haze from deep basses to high pitches. The titan transistors generate a very particular sound with a base frequency of +/-15 semi-tones from 1Hz a 6kHz.

Switch -2>0 : multiplies the density of the haze by -2. This will have a direct impact on the sound and make it 2 octaves lower.

Mod2 0>10 is the amount of frequency modulation of mod2 input

Notes: The ZONE B.F. module is an element of the Capsule TITAN. Zone basses frequences stands for low frequency zone. This module is composed of 2 LFOs, both LFOs have 16 sync-able waveforms.

The ZONE B.F. (black edition onwards) now features an additional mode. On the back of the PCB you will find two jumpers, marked as JP1. CV1 is LFO channel 1 and CV2 is LFO channel 2. By moving the jumper so it sits on one leg (rather than 2 as when you have received the module), the Sync input for either LFO channel now becomes LFO speed input, controllable via CV.

Notes: The Erbe-Verb music synthesizer module is more than a collection of reverb algorithms or presets, it is a unique, modeless, continuously variable reverb algorithm with complete voltage control. Typical reverb types such as plate, room, hall, shimmer and others may be programmed by adjusting the knobs. The continuously variable algorithm allows for hybrid and unreal spaces to be found. Traveling between spaces is possible by modulating the algorithm or manually sweeping parameters. More than an end-of-chain effects unit, it's a whole new building block for modular synthesis. Notes: The Optomix music synthesizer module is a two channel Low Pass Gate, providing simultaneous voltage control over amplitude and frequency content of a signal. Notes: The Multiple is a simple but important module that allows for sending a signal to multiple destinations. Within the Make Noise system the Multiple may also be used for combining clock, gate and pulse signals together to create interesting timing sources (in other words, it acts as a Gate combiner aka logic OR circuit).

It has 9 inter-connected sockets that may be split into different group combinations depending upon how it is patched. The jacks circled in white will make or break the interconnects between the 3 groups of three, thus allowing for three 3-way, one 5-way/ one 3-way or one 7-way multiple.

The Multiple is passive, because the Make Noise system does not require Buffered Multiples since all critical control signals are already buffered in such a way as to provide a large fan-out capability.

Notes: A compact Voltage Controlled Oscillator designed for generating SINE waves, Variable wave-SHAPEs, SUB-Octaves, Oscillator SYNC and Linear FM in the analog domain.

The Sub-Timbral Oscillator is the more subtle and melodic friend to the DPO's complex harmonic lattice.

Notes: The Atlantis is heavily inspired by the architecture and sound of the classic Roland SH-101. It has always been one of our favorite synths and we really liked how the seemingly limited architecture allowed for all sorts of creative and musically useful sounds to be easily generated.

Just like the 101 it is quick to dial in beautifully rich bass and lead sounds. However this module uses triangle core VCOs (based on the Dixie core) instead of Saw core which respond much more musically to FM. The modulation oscillator can be used as an LFO or VCO (audio rate) and both track very precisely over 8 or more octaves.

In the mixer section you can adjust the balance of the primary oscillators waveforms including a sinewave which is normalled to the EXT IN jack. You could also patch in one of the modulation oscillators waveforms into this channel and be able to operate the Atlantis as a proper two oscillator synth. There is a switch labelled "LINK" which enables the modulation vco pitch to be based as an offset of the primary VCO. This is useful when using it as a stacked dual vco or when you have the mod VCO acting as the linear FM source for the primary vco and wish to maintain the ratio.

The filter section is a Roland style cascaded 4 pole multimode filter with LP, BP and HP modes. The LP Boost switch engages a special mode useful for the LP that produces a much fatter and prominent sound that is not drowned out by resonance (unlike the original SH-101). The filter self-oscillates to produce a very clean sine wave which also tracks 1V/Oct. Between the Mod VCO, Primary VCO, Sub Oscillator and resonating filter it is possible to layer up to four different pitches at one time.

The envelope section is an ADSR with a dual range switch. It also can be set to a looping mode which can be gated on/off externally.

The output VCA feeds into a two level output clipping circuit that you can use to get a much ballsier/dirtier sound.

Notes: Cylonix and Intellijel have collaborated to bring you a very sophisticated and deeply complex Wavetable VCO. At the core of this module is very powerful FPGA board that he has pushed to the absolute max of its capabilities and crammed full of features. We wanted to create a module that really worked well in the modular context so there are a lot of modulation and control possibilities.

CHORDS
Oscillator 1 can be operated in a CHORD mode, which runs 8 copies of the oscillator in parallel with adjustable detuning, leading to very fat, rich waveforms. The oscillators have extensive modulation capabilities including audio rate (98KHz) Frequency and Phase Modulation (FM and PM) via external sources. Nonlinear combination processes allow the outputs of the two oscillators to interact to generate complex timbres and sonic textures.
There are 64 user selectable chords.

WAVEFOLDER
The SHAPESHIFTER module also includes the analog wave folder circuitry from
module to add analog warmth and metallic rasps to the digital oscillator output.
External signals can also be patched in.

PRESETS
The module includes a sophisticated preset mode where panel settings can be stored. There are 12 user-programmable preset slots and another 52 volatile slots that can be used as a scratchpad. These scratchpad slots are initialized to interesting presets on module powerup. The capabilities of the preset mode is not limited to mere passive storage of settings, however. In this mode the user can also step through, or sequence, the settings, either in order or randomly in response to pulses input to the external sync input. This gives the user the ability to generate complex sequences of sounds. The preset mode also allows the user to morph between the current panel settings and a preset providing a very powerful real-time performance tool.

Snappy, classically analogue envelopes with visually intuitive controls. Add trigger buttons, cycling and a variety of control voltage outputs - then double it - now you've got the Dual ADSR.

Get In Shape

Intellijel tend to prefer sliders for these envelope generators because they provide a clear visual representation of the modulation shape. This circuit is based in part on the Roland SH-101 / System 100m design with several enhancements.

On the back of the pcb is a pair of solder points marked as "link". You can connect these (with a solder blob or small jumper wire) to turn the mult into a single 8 channel Mult instead of 2 x 4 channel.

Notes: Dual 3:1 audio and cv mixer (up to three buffered inputs with a single buffered output).

NOTE: Version 2 of the Unity Mixer has two sets of jumpers on the main pcb. These allow the top and bottom sum to be set to -6dB attenuation instead of unity gain. This creates more headroom when summing higher amplitude sources like raw VCO signals.

This is another great David Dixon filter design that has been on the workbench for a while. It is a very clean and precise filter that also doubles as an excellent sine VCO.

It responds very well to FM and the small size should make it a nice choice for smaller systems/lunchboxes.

Notes: fourMulator is a digital quad LFO-module for euro rack compatible modular synthesizer and sound processing systems. Due to its ability to synchronize the modulators (LFOs) to each other or to an overall clock-reference, fourMulator is capable generating complex and rhythmic modulation structures.

Modulators (LFOs)

Each modulator offers six wave forms: ascending and descending saw tooth, square, triangle, sine and random (sample & hold) with a frequency range between 0.05Hz (20 seconds) to approx. 100Hz. Each modulator offers wave form and trigger outputs, the latter sending an impulse with every new start of the selected wave form. Reset- and CV-inputs allow external parameter manipulation - from other modules or from other modulators of the fourMulator itself.

Synchronization

All four modulators work independently. However, they can be synchronized with each other. Each modulator can be individually synchronized to the left neighboring module or to a clock-reference.

Two or more synchronized modulators always oscillate at the same frequency. However, a synchronized modulator can be phase-shifted by up to 180° (a half-cycle) to the clock-reference. This allows easy creation of counter-rotating modulations. More complex modulations can be achieved using the CV-input to manipulate phase-shift.

With active clock-synchronization, the corresponding modulators oscillate in reference to a common clock-signal, but use individual clock-dividing factors. Again, advanced possibilities result from being able to manipulate clock-division through the modules' CV-inputs.

Both forms of synchronization can be combined. With one modulator being synchronized to a clock signal, it may as well serve as reference to the right neighboring modulator.

CLOCK Generator (CLK)

fourMulator integrates an internal clock generator. Its tempo can be assigned using a tap-tempo-button or by using an external clock-reference.

Notes: The ES-40 is a Eurorack format module which converts a standard S/PDIF input to five channels of expansion headers, which are used in conjunction with the Expert Sleepers ESX range of expanders (currently including the ESX-8GT, the ESX-4CV, the ESX-8CV and the ESX-8MD).

The ES-40 will connect to any audio device using the S/PDIF standard. This includes the digital audio output provided as standard on many recent Macs (more info here on the Mac connection).

The ES-40 also includes an S/PDIF output for sending data back to the computer. This output is used by expansion modules connected to the ES-40; currenty, the only such module is the ES-7 CV Input Expander.

The ES-40 is essentially an ES-4 with the DACs and CV outputs removed. Much of what has been written about the ES-4, and many tutorial videos etc., still apply to the ES-40.

Suggested combinations

The ES-40 does nothing by itself, but forms the basis of a very configurable system. Simply add the expansion modules you need. Here are some ideas:

- 8 general purpose CVs - an ES-40 plus an ESX-8CV gives you a flexible, general purpose modular controller.
- 8 CV/gate pairs - an ES-40, an ESX-8CV and an ESX-8GT gives you enough outputs for 8 classic monosynths - or to realise that 8 voice polyphonic modular you've been dreaming of.
- 8 drum triggers - an ES-40 and an ESX-8GT gives you 8 triggers for your rack of drum modules, for the ultimate in sample-accurate rhythm. Add up to four more ESX-8GTs for up to 40 triggers/gates/clocks!
- MIDI & DINsync - an ES-40 and an ESX-8MD form a sample-accurate, jitter-free, multi-port MIDI interface.
- Digital audio - an ES-40 and an ES-7 gives you two channels of 24 bit analogue-to-digital conversion to get your modular audio into your DAW.

Introducing the WMD Phase Displacement Oscillator (PDO). This hybrid VCO has all the feel of an analog VCO but with the benefits of digital waveshaping. The PDO will easily find a home in your system!

The PDO exists to utilize the phenomenon of Phase Modulation (PM). This allows for the relative phase difference of its outputs to be set or modulated, producing very interesting sounds. The result is similar to Frequency Modulation (FM) but affects the output to a greater degree without affecting the stability of the initial frequency. This is where the "displacement" comes in.

When you use frequency stable phase displacement, you create phase distortion which sounds like wavefolding and is very useful for dynamic textures and powerful sounds.

PM has the same benefits of quadrature filters/sine wave generators and greatly exceeds their capabilities at audio rate modulations. PM is highly useful for for creating metallic and bell tones and very controlled harmonic interactions.

Because PM affects the relative phase and not the frequency of the waveform generated, the PDO can self modulate its PM inputs. This creates complex harmonic signals that seem to vary in frequency but are quite stable.

Phase Modulation is also quite powerful when using the PDO as an LFO. Adjusting the relative phase of each output allows for very precise modulation of other modules. Each output can have any of the available waveforms simultaneously. There is a myriad of modulation possible with the PDO!

Notes: The WMD Pro Output is a simple and purpose built module to get your modular signal interfaced with professional and consumer audio gear. It also includes a very high quality headphone driver.

Rail to rail opamps at the input stage allow for headroom above the typical eurorack levels of 20Vpp. The Pro Output can handle 23Vpp before clipping. Signals are attenuated down to the proper levels allowing for simple adjustment free connection to any type of device, professional or consumer.

The Pro Output is DC coupled through the entire signal path, including the headphone driver. This design eliminates coupling capacitors and the distortion they can cause.

Controls and I/O:

Input - The inputs are designed to accept any normal modular level. 10Vpp is the nominal operation level. The left input is normaled to the right side for mono operation. Inputs will clip at 23Vpp, giving enough headroom for any eurorack signal.

Phones/Line - The headphone driver connects to a 3.5mm stereo jack, and a 1/4" jack for whatever type of headphones you use. It can drive both simultaneously.

The headphone output level is internally limited to protect against accidental knob turns. Connect a couple of jumpers to the rear of the module to disable this limiting. This will allow the headphone amp to drive headphones extremely loudly, but still without distortion. Output quality remains the same regardless of the jumper settings.

With the limiting enabled (jumpers off), the maximum output is around -10dBV. With limiting disabled (jumpers on), the maximum output increases to pro level, about +4dBu.

Stereo - The Stereo (-10dBV) output is designed to interface directly with consumer level gear. Hook directly to sound cards, portable recorders, and speakers. It can be used as a second headphone output but will be loud.

+4dBu Bal - These two outputs (left and right) are high quality low impedance balanced line drivers. They are designed to drive long cables and to drive balanced transformer or transformerless inputs. Use these to connect directly to mixing consoles, mic preamps, or any other piece of professional outboard gear.

Notes: The WMD Quad Anti Aliasing Filter (QAAF) was conceptualized as the first epansion for the Phase Displacement Oscillator. It is designed to eliminate aliasing and stair-step distortion from the Digital to Analog converters. We opted to make this a seperate module because it is useful by itself as well as coupled with the PDO.

There are four independent filters inside the QAAF. Each -24dB/octave Butterworth filter runs at exactly the same frequency. The Butterworth filter has a small amount of resonance and a great sound. Each input jack is normaled from the expansion header that connects to the PDO, but any signal can be filtered by plugging in.

The frequency control circuitry uses a vactrol to control the clocking speed of each filter, slowing down the response to transient signals. This brings life and character to the sound.

Controls and I/O:

CV Input - This input is roughly calibrated to 1v/octave. It drives a vactrol that will cause the QAAF to open quickly and close slowly.

Freq Knob - This knob controls the cutoff directly or acts as a bias/level shift control for the CV input.

CLK - This jack serves as a clock input or output, directly controlling the filter's frequencies at a ratio of 100:1. A jumper on the back (lower jumper) selects it's mode. Jump for clock output, leave open for clock input.

Inputs 1-4 - Audio Inputs, these are normaled from the expansion header going to the PDO. This normal is broken by plugging into these jacks.

Outputs 1-4 - These jacks are for each channel's outut.

Mix - This output is a sum of each channel's filtered input.

Frequency Limit Jumper - This rear jumper (upper set of pins) will limit the low frequency cutoff to about 300Hz. This will stop the QAAF from producing aliasing noise itself as it's clock frequency will be limited to 30kHz. Jump for limiting, leave open to disable.

Notes: Airplane A and B: Two identical, voltage controlled function generators with AD/AR/loop modes; mode is selectable by "trip selector" switch. Attack and decay time (aka departure and arrival) manually controllable; the CV inputs have bipolar attenuators. With the CV inputs unused you can used for set the curve of each segment from exponential to logarithmic with the bipolar attenuators without stretching the duration of the slope!
"Check-in" is a gate input; "end of stage(s) emits a pulse after finishing decay or release stage.
The function generators are digital, with 12Bit resolution and 30kHz sampling rate. As the frequency range goes to 15kHz iwth linear curve characteristic you can use them as VCOs and play 1V/octave via the "key in" Each function generator has two outputs: an unipolar (0V to 8V) and a bipolar (-5V to +5v). "Relative B height" blends between both function generators and also has unipolar and bipolar outputs.

Gates: to be exact these are'n classic lopass gates but vactrol-controlled filter/VCA combinations with a Sallen-Key filter type. Each has an audio input with level control and a CV input with bipolar attenuator. Play with channel A's phase control and patch it to channel B to create bandpass effects.

The gate's signals are mixed internally and can feature voltage controlled panning when used with the stereo headphone output.

"Cabin Pressure" is a digital reverb/echo effect with few reflections, a manually or CV-controllable reverb tail of up to 5 seconds, a 12Bit resolution and 30kHz sampling rate. You can create rhythmic effects when using the "tap" input.

The Terminal has plenty normalizations like internal modulation from the function generators to the gates, which can be configured using jumpers.

Notes: The Furthrrrr Generator has a main oscillator (carrier) with an extensive and fully voltage controllable wave multiplier and a modulation oscillator (modulator) that can cross-modulate the carrier. Each oscillator has hard and soft sync and also features an integrated tuner: if both LEDs are lit the VCO is at note A. Left LED is lit at note Ab and right LED at A#. Frequency potentiometers are ten-turn models and thus allow for easy tuning. Frequency range of the VCOs is 10Hz-10kHz (and much lower in modulator's LFO mode). Both VCOs feature 2 frequency CV inputs (1x with bipolar attenuator, 1x with 1V/octave), one FM input (jumper selectable between linear and exponential FM) as well as separate input for hard and soft sync. The voltage characteristic can be selected between 1V/octave and 1.2V/octave (Buchla norm).

The main oscillator (carrier) outputs the waveforms sine, saw, square and white noise. The two outputs marked with the magic eye are outputs of the "harmonic section" that generates very complex sounds by the wave multiplier and its parameters symmetry, order and Furthrrrr in the module's right-hand section. Symmetry lowers the level of even harmonics and amplifies the odd harmonics (this affects the pulse wave's width as well). Order adds saturation to the high order harmonics and resembles a low pass filter. Furthrrrr alters the level of harmonics set by the other parameters and produces very interesting, partly brute sounds with lots of harmonics by clipping and folding the wave. All three parameters can be voltage controlled. The carrier oscillator also has inputs for hard and soft sync, the sync-switch can synch directly to the modulator.

The modulation oscillator (modulator) has three wave forms with direct outputs: sine, saw and square. Using the internal modulation via the "mood section" the waveform is selected with a button; an additional staircase wave form is available here, but it can be overridden by inserting a signal into the external input socket. A switch activates the LFO mode.

The Mood section is responsible for the internal modulation of the carrier by the modulator. Switches determine the modulation destination(s) that can be activated simultaneously. These are the Furthrrrr parameter of the harmonic section, the amplitude and the frequency of the carrier oscillator. The "balanced" switch activates the ring modulation between both VCOs. intensity of modulation is controlled by the "mood index" potentiometer and the according CV input with bipolar attenuator.

Notes: WMD's next utility module is a three channel buffered multiple. Each channel has a dual color LED indicating Green for a positive voltage, and Red for a negative voltage.

Each channel is normaled to the next channel for a total of nine outputs from one input.

Notes: The 6 HP Invert Offset module creates an easy way to modify control voltages for other modules in your system.

The Invert Offset consists of two identical channels. Signal applied to the In jack is vertically offset by the knob, additionally a CV signal may be applied to offset the signal vertically.

The +Out jack puts out a non-inverted signal with the specified offset. The -Out jack puts out an inverted signal with the same offset as the +Out.

The Offset CV input allows you to mix two signals together, Offset will never be inverted, while the signal at the In jack will be inverted based on the selected output.

There is also a sum output (1+2) that takes the non-inverted outputs and adds them together. Also there is a comparator gate output that is on if the channel 1 output is more positive than channel 2.

Notes: Introducing the WMD Synchrodyne, a multi part and multi use eurorack module for the creation and manipulation of audio. Containing several pieces to a traditional synthesizer voice, the Synchrodyne is a powerful addition to any subtractive oriented system. However, it is designed primarily as an experimental sound source/filter, intended to push the limits of modular synthesis...WMD style. The Synchrodyne now has an expansion.

The Synchrodyne is designed as a way to implement a switched capacitor filter (SCF) chip without the use of a microcontroller to run the clock. We developed a fast analog VCO that can drive the SCF with a broad range of frequency control. The problem with this would be that the VCO is then dedicated to only running the filter. So we designed a frequency multiplier based around a Phase Locked Loop IC (PLL) to take the VCO and multiply its frequency up so that the VCO could be used as an audio source, while still controlling the filter. The SCF has a frequency ratio of 50:1 or 100:1 clock frequency to output cutoff frequency. The PLL allows for many ratios of input to output frequencies to be selected, making the VCO a simultaneous audio and control source.

The PLL introduced its own challenges. Taming the PLL to stabilize at high multiplication ratios required us to develop a damping circuit. The Damping and Track Speed controls cause the PLL to have its own sound, sort of a slew limiter and self Frequency Modulation. We wanted the Synchrodyne to distort nicely with audio input, and also to self-oscillate. We added single stage rectifiers to the -12dB and -24dB filter outputs for a more aggressive sound. We opted to develop a VCA and wavefolder for the front end of the filter to further expand the palate of distortion and processing of the Synchrodyne. We had more features to add, but space was limited and we didn't want to make an excessively expensive module, so we added two 14pin expansion headers for future development.

Notes: This is the WMD Synchrodyne Expand, we went a little crazy with it. But we figured that if you can grasp the original, you're the type that always wants to go deeper. So lets take this plunge together as we attempt to explain what it all means.

The Synchrodyne by itself is capable of a great deal, containing several modules in one, prepatched internally to create a vibrant range of sounds. It was difficult to cut many of the control capabilities from the Synchrodyne to keep it within the scope of an analog switched-capacitor filter module. The expand lets us bring many of the little nuances of the Synchrodyne to the patchable world.

It is designed to be powerful and extremely dynamic when minimally patched, but when patch cords start flying around to be open and experimental. You may also use many of the parts of the Synchrodyne and Expand separately in various parts of your patches. The open architecture allows it to do many jobs, even small ones.

Notes: Intoducing the WMD Triple Bipolar VCA, the input side expansion for our Phase Displacement Oscillator. This module provides dedicated inverting/polarizing/bipolar amplitude modulating inputs normaled to the Phase Modulation inputs on the PDO.

A bipolar VCA is like a normal VCA when operated with positive control voltage. But when using a negative control voltage, the output will swing back through zero amplitude and the output will be inverted. This produces deeper modulation than a normal VCA.

The Triple Bipolar VCA is also designed to be used as a standalone module, it does not require the PDO to operate.

Notes: POLE-ZERO is a 4-pole (24dB/octave) low pass Voltage Controlled Filter (VCF) utilizing MOSFET transistors. MOSFETs are known for their soft, vacuum tube like distortion when overdriven.

POLE-ZERO is designed to exploit these characteristics with the addition of a MOSFET saturation control and provide a much wider palette of sounds when compared to a standard VCF.

A Voltage Controlled Amplier (VCA) is also a relatively novel addition and provides a simple way to amplitude modulate the filter without the need of an external VCA.

Notes: MINI SLEW is a feature packed function generator and voltage controlled slew limiter.

Transient functions are generated using the rise, fall and shape controls.

Complex functions can be generated using the voltage controlled shape and vari-out via direct CV inputs.

MINI SLEW features a novel time compensation mode which permits the timing of the transient to remain relatively constant while the shape parameter is adjusted.

CV SUM mode permits a single CV patched into rise or fall to process both parameters or two CVs patched into rise and fall to be summed and applied to both parameters.

Additional features include VC cycle (toggle on/off), end of rise and end of fall outputs, FM input and an LED voltmeter for monitoring the amplitude of the direct positive output.

Notes: SPECTRUM is a precision, saw-core VCO with eight possible waveforms (six simultaneous outputs), an eight octave switch, LFO mode and FM mode select with attenuation.

In addition to the standard waveforms; sine, pulse, triangle and saw, SPECTRUM features two selectable saw/pulse hybrid waveforms and two selectable sub-octave waveforms with variable range.

Additional features include pulse width modulation with CV and attenuation, hard sync and panel accessible 1V/OCT calibration.

Notes: ULTRAFOLD is a powerful voltage controlled wave folder.

The input drive and wave fold controls make up the heart of the design, providing warm saturation and additive harmonics to the input signal.

The wave shift control offsets the input signal to allow for asymmetrical folding - unveiling the subtleties in the distribution of spectral content.

The novel bipolar feedback control takes wave folding to a new level by returning the folded output to the input, thereby skewing the wave shapes for dramatic changes to the upper harmonics.

An auxiliary feedback input is provided to allow for insane folded FM sounds when another oscillator drives this input.

Notes: BLENDER is a four channel mixer and voltage controlled cross-fader. BLENDER simplies mixing audio and control voltages (CV) by incorporating a single control to blend two signals at a time - also known as a cross-fader.

Two manual cross-faders and a single voltage controlled master cross-fader are provided.

Use BLENDER as a main mixer or as a dynamic control for creating complex control voltages and waveforms from your signal generators.

This module includes a two input voltage summing section, a signal rectifier, bipolar comparator, analog OR (maximum), an inverter and a voltage controlled toggle switch.

TOOL-BOX provides the tools required for spicing up your patches as well as some of the typically overlooked utilities missing from most modular systems.

Notes: S.P.O. is a polarizing scaler and offset generator.

Up to two inputs can be summed into a single scaler/offset generator.

The offset generator provides a DC voltage source for shifting signals into the positive or negative voltage region.

The scaler provides a means of attenuating and polarizing (inverting) the applied signal. S.P.O. works with audio and control voltages (CV).
