Notes: Module A-105-2 is a voltage controlled low pass filter with 24dB/octave slope.

It is the successor of the A-105 which had to be discontinued because the obsolete SSM2044 filter circuit. The A-105-2 is based on the SSI2144 which is in turn the successor circuit of the SSM2044. The features of both modules are nearly the same. The main difference is the clearly reduced front panel width of the A-105-2 (4HP instead of 8HP) and the associated changes of the controls and sockets positions. In addition the A-105-2 is equipped with 2 audio inputs.

Notes: Roucha Legio is a 12 dB /octave state-variable stereo multimode filter available on the Legio DSP+oscillator platform.

Noise Engineering received tons of requests for NE filters over the years, and Roucha Legio is their first dedicated release. The filter features lowpass, bandpass, and highpass settings and tracks frequency via the dedicated encoder and extremely accurate 1v/8va CV input. Roucha Legio's CV-controlled resonance parameter can go from clean to acidy-squelchy for bassline joy. Add CV for filter sweeps that will knock your socks off. Notes: The Dystopia is ideal for complex patches where sound can be used to thicken the sound or filter out frequencies. It features a noise generator which can provide white, white to pink, white to blue, scatter, digital, pitch types of noise. Notes: Aphelion packs a stereo distortion and low/high pass filter into a compact 8HP design, making it ideal for live performance setups. It features three unique stereo distortions in parallel with a continuous crossfade between them, controlled with the character knob or a cv input.

The first circuit is an overdrive that adds a lot of warmth and fattens up the sound without becoming too harsh.
The second one is a saturating wavefolder, that can add interesting extra harmonics depending on the waveform of the material.
The last distortion is inspired by the classic RAT guitar pedal. It adds an aggressive feel and grit to the sound.

A mix knob lets you blend the dry input signal with the distorted signal, before it hits the filter. Setting it fully dry bypasses the distortion effect.

If you need even more dirt, there's a handy +12dB gain switch, to really drive the inputs into overdrive. If you want to keep your low-end undistorted, you can switch on the Low-cut filter.

The non-resonant. This filter is also overdriven, adding some warm distortion and extra harmonics to the stereo filter combines a low pass and high pass stage, and uses an IC based on the classic SSM2040original signal, and limiting the output level. The cutoff knob has no effect in the centre, turning CCW creates a low pass and CW a high pass effect. It's possible to control the low and high pass filter cores independently using CV.

The filter bypass switch can be used for instant reintroduction of all frequencies into the mix upon release-a great tool for live performers.

Lastly the level knob can be used to attenuate the output.

Notes: What does this do?

This is an analogue filter based on the 1974 SEM filter. The original early design did not self oscillate into a sine wave. This one also does not self oscillate. The sound, however, makes up for that. You get the original notch sweep, and incredible band pass mode at such a low friendly price.

The Omen is a dual LPG with a bit more than you might be used to. This module was born out of the realisation that it was possible to make far more interesting LPG designs than the standard we've become so accustomed to.

In a convergence of old-school LPG design and more modern components, the Omen boasts two -6dB resonant filters, custom built vactrols, built in CV attenuation and no less than three cutoff modes per filter. Filter 1 is soft and light, imparting a gentle, naturally gated touch of filtering on your sound, while Filter 2 is darker and more resonant, and can turn downright growly and distorted when left wide open.

Designed to give you as many creative options as possible, the Omen has the unique ability to function as either two discrete LPG, or as one 4-pole resonant LPG. When plugging a signal in to Input 1, and with no signal plugged into Input 2, the output will be present at both Output 1 and Output 2, with Output 2 producing the signal as it passes through both filters. Tweaking both filters independently will generate a wide array of soft and sometimes harsh tones, ranging from Buchla bongos to early synthesis brass and organ sounds. There is much to love here.

CV is similarly handled, by plugging in only one CV source, it will act on both channels - this is useful for creating musically similar outputs as well as when using the dual filter operation. However, the dual filter mode greatly benefits from having two CV inputs: use an envelope in CV1 to act as a VCA, and an LFO in CV2 to create tremolo, for instance.

Using custom designed, hand built vactrols, care has been taken to mitigate the less desirable aspects of passive LPGs - in most modules, the user can expect zero bleed through on the LPG channels, and signal attenuation is minimal even with the 4-pole filter settings engaged. Of course, many of the natural features of vactrols remain, such as subtle memory effect when engaging the vactrol for long periods.

Finally, you receive maximum blinkenlights as LED's on the front panel simulate the action of the vactrols, so you'll always know what's going on under the hood. No collection of fancy LPG's is complete without the Omen.

Notes: The Grand Terminal is a digital multipurpose module. Its two function generators can be used as envelopes, LFOs or VCOs. The 2 filter channels individually offer 8 modes of operation, and combined with its mixing and routing capabilities and a multi effects unit, it is not only a complete back end of a synth voice, but can also be used as a synthesizer voice, stereo filter bank or general purpose sound effects processor.

The Grand Terminal is based on an ARM M4 DSP, audio resolution 48 kHz/16Bit. Its two filter channels can be used in parallel or serial, and there is a link mode for stereo operation. The Audio inputs have individual trimmable gain stages to integrate the Grand Terminal into different production environments. There´s a soft clipping feature in order to prevent unwanted distortion. Gate A is normalized to Gate B for easy parallel processing.

Each of the filters can be set to any of 8 filter types, which are: Transistor Ladder Filter (Low Pass), Diode Ladder Filter (Low Pass), Vactrol Low-Pass Gate, Resonant Vactrol Low-Pass Gate, State Variable Low-Pass Filter, State Variable High-Pass Filter, State Variable Band-Pass Filter, Comb Filter. The filter can be controlled in 2 parameters manually as well as via CV. The outputs of this section can also be controlled in Volume and Pan position. At this stage, the unit is designed to distort in the upper third of the gain control setting.

The built-in multi effects processor features eight algorithms which can be altered in 2 crucial parameters and a possibility to crossfade between the dry and the effected signal. Its algorithms are: Hall Reverb, Shimmer Reverb, Room Reverb, Spring Reverb, Ping-Pong Delay, Tape Delay and Chorus. At the end of the audio path, there´s a Master Volume Control as well as one Mono and one Stereo output.

The two function generators can operate as AD or AR envelopes. All time parameters can be set between 1 ms and 10 seconds, manually as well as via CV. The envelopes can be individually set to loop and then act as LFOs or VCOs (following V/Oct for about 6,5 octaves). They also feature End-of-Stage Outputs.

When used in connection to the Gateway, all controls which are normally set by jumpers on the back of the module are accessible from the Gateway´s front panel.

Notes: This module is divided between 3 functions, a 3 channel mixer, with 3 knobs the the singal together, this then passes in a dual analogue filter, a resonant 24db LPF and a non resonant 18db HPF, passing from there into a built in VCA.

The MORPHEUS Eurorack module includes over 280 filter configurations, which are called Cubes. Each Cube is composed of up to 8 complex filters that you can picture as being at the corners of a three dimensional cube (hence the name). Morpheus gives you the ability to smoothly interpolate between those 8 filters within the cube's three dimensional space.

Due to processor limitations back in the day, the original Morpheus was capable of real-time morphing in one dimension, but interpolation in the frequency and transform dimensions were set at note-on and remained static for the remainder of the note. Notes: The Mankato Filter is a four-pole lowpass filter with positive and negative outputs at every pole, giving you slopes of 6 dB/oct, 12 dB/oct, 18 dB/oct, and 24 dB/oct simultaneously. The negative slope outputs allow you to use the Mankato as a quadrature sine oscillator with 8 available phases. The Mankato will self-resonate from subaudio to superaudio, and responds to one volt per octave through its unattenuated control inputs. When resonating, the 6dB/oct outputs are slightly hotter than the others and can be driven to lightly saturate at full resonance. Meridian represents the idea of a meeting point or a convergence of different elements. Filters are often used to blend, shape, and refine different sounds into a cohesive whole. Meridian is often represented through the idea of a barrier or a line that separates parts. This concept mirrors the way the filter delineates different frequencies and aural elements, generating a defined contrast that shapes the overall sound.

In context, the name Meridian conveys a sense of balance, harmony, and unity, while also suggesting a clear and definitive separation between different sonic elements. Meridian's two filters, each have independently adjustable cut off, resonance, and contour parameters. The PrimeFreq control is the center macro control of both filters in tandem. The module boasts a dynamic control feature aptly-titled 'Ping'. Activation of Ping is enabled through the Ping input. Additionally, the filter permits selection of serial or parallel routing configurations and is capable of functioning as either a stereo system or two independent mono channels with the press of a button.

Notes: The SetonixSynth Marsupial is a new dual filter design based around the re-issued AS3350 filter IC, originally used in rare synths such as the Synton Syrinx, Crumar Spirit and Rhodes Chroma but never widely utilized. Normalization between the control inputs and a Series/Parallel switch makes it simple to dial in a huge variety of unique and musical filter sounds.

Notes: Module A-121d is a special dual multimode filter which can be used for parallel or serial organized dual mono filters. Even stereo applications are imaginable. The filters are based on two special circuits: one with highpass and bandpass outputs, the other with lowpass and bandpass outputs. It's a new filter design that is not used so far in any other A-100 filter module.

We attached great importance to the usability of the manual controls and CV inputs for dual filter applications: for the filter frequencies of both filters a common control (Frequ.) and a difference control (Delta, filter spread) are available. For both parameters even CV inputs are available (FCV, DCV). The resonance (Q1, Q2), the sensitivity of the individual frequency control input (FCV1, FCV2) and the level of the audio input (In1, In2) are adjusted by means of the individual controls for each filter.

The module has a simple audio mixing unit available with the inputs Mx1 and Mx2, and the output MxO. Provided that the mixer inputs are open bandpass 1 and bandpass 2 are normalised to the sockets Mx1 and Mx2. All other filter types are realized by connecting the other filter outputs (H1 = highpass 1, L2 = lowpass 2) to the mixer inputs.

Notes: OCTOPASS is an eight voice 24db/octave low pass filter based on the classic 2044 filter. All eight filters are fully analogue with gain compensation of resonance and the lovely lush sound of classic synths. A global frequency modulation CV using a 3.5mm jack can be used to modulate all eight incoming CVs of the Polytip jack. The typical use is to patch polyphonic synthesisers with the use of only a few Polytip patch cables for its audio ins and outs and its cut-off frequency controls. To tap each filter I/O or CV using discrete modules the OCTO I/O module can be used as an expander. As there are eight filters in the module special attention has been given to power consumption efficiency.

Notes: The Futureretro Transfer is a 12hp analogue filter featuring 16 different types of fully controllable filters with CV inputs, a voltage controlled amplifier, and an input overdrive. While the included 4 types of commonly used low pass filters, and the 12 specially crafted unique filters were specifically engineered to be the perfect sonic pairing with our Trax and Transient models, the Transfer also functions perfectly with any modular setup.

3 larger control pots give immediate and easy access to cutoff, input drive, and resonance control with the three smaller attenuators/attenuverters control input from the type CV, cutoff CV, and resonance CV input jacks. A VCA (voltage controlled amplifier) jack is conveniently placed at the bottom row along with standard input and output jacks.

Notes: Based off Euterpe's classic Vertice filter bank, this fully analogue multimode filter biasts an integrated preamp and transistor based distortion. This saturates the signal in order to generate harmonically rich sounds for the filters to manipulated.

The Itinera boasts four modes: LPF, BPF, HPF and notch, allowing for a wide range of possibilties, especially when combined with the 3 selectable resonance paths.

These 3 paths - transistor, diode and Innesco - each offer their own characteristics. The Itinera alos has two CV controllable feedback functions, "Vindicta" and "Formant", which help create feed back effects.

With two audio inputs and four CV inputs, the Itinera offers tons of potential for creative applications, not only as a filter but also as a saturator!

Notes: Foxtrot is a quad, multimode virtual analogue filter with three different classic filter types.

Each of the four filter channels can be:

1) A ladder filter, based on the classic MOOG designs from the '60 and '70s
2) A Sallen-and-Key filter based on the Korg 35 module used in the MS-20
3) A State Variable filter as used in the Oberheim SEM

Each filter type produces Low Pass, Band Pass and High Pass responses which can be morphed between using the front panel control or CV.

In addition, any or all of the filter channels can be linked together internally producing a parallel filter bank controlled by a single cut-off control or CV. Check out some of the examples for how amazing this sounds.

The AUX CV input can be switched to allow CV control of the filter response, resonance or pan of each filter channel's dual outputs.

Finally, each filter can be overdriven to accentuate the unique sound of each filter type.
