The speaker unit contains a bio-cellulose diaphragm made from bacterial cellulose, an organic compound grown using certain types of bacteria. The precision-grown diaphragm from bio-cellulose is stiffer, lighter, and stronger than regular PET speaker units, allowing the sound-producing diaphragm to vibrate without the levels of distortion found in other speakers.

Toggle between the modes via a pair of jumpers on the back. The USB-B to USB-A cable is provided with the module. Why use the cutting edge USB-B? I felt the jacks were way more sturdy than mounting USB-C jacks vertically.

After the TRACK input goes low, it will begin tracking the IN signal again.

Notes: This is an expander for Bartender and Barback, enabling CV control of the level of the send bus of up to 8 channels.

Each section of four jacks has a cable to connect to the mixer modules. To get 4 channels to work with Barback you want to connect it to the last Barback in the chain of two. It will then pass along channels 3 & 4 to the next Barback.

This model uses the original "hard-to-find" opamps, but After Later have substituted V2164M with AS2164D. All of After Later's products use AS2164D and there should be no measurable change in behaviour.

Notes: Popple is an 8hp multimode stereo filter based on the Mutable Instruments Ripples V1 filter section. Popple maintains the buttery smoothness of Ripples filter while giving you two separate audio paths. The audio paths share a resonance, control, a frequency cutoff control, resonance CV input, and a v/oct cutoff CV input. Each channel then has it’s own cutoff CV input with attenuverters (which are normalled to a 2.5V signal).

Popple will also self-oscillate at high resonance settings, when coupled with the v/oct CV control, it can also act as a dual sine wave oscillator.

Notes: Pique (uPeaks) 1U Intellijel Format

This is a 1U (Intellijel format) version of the Pique module which is based on the popular Peaks module from Mutable Instruments. It can be an ADSR-style envelope generator, an LFO and a drum emulator.

The module is calibrated, comes with a power cable, and a one year warranty.

Notes: This is a brand new build of a JakPlugg designed Pachinko, which is a micro version of Mutable Instruments Marbles. It retains all of the functionality of the original but takes up less space (12HP) than the original Marbles (18HP).

The module is fully assembled, tested, and calibrated. The calibration is done with a 6.5 digit multimeter, itself recently calibrated, to ensure you get the highest accuracy from your module.

The panel is a custom black After Later Audio panel that offers metallic gold accents.

Notes: nRings

This is a new build of a micro version of Rings from Mutable Instruments. MicroRings, also called NanoRings, retains all the same functionality as a full-size Rings module.

The module is fully assembled, tested, and calibrated. Eurorack power cable is included.

Notes: This is a buffered/active mult with LED indicator. You get two channels of 1 to 3 multiples within a 2HP module. The output of channel 1 is normalled to channel 2 so it can also be treated as a 1 to 6 multiple as well.

Active vs Passive mults:

With a passive mult you are effectively just plugging multiple things into the same jacks. This will often cause some voltage drop in each of the signals. With an active (or buffered) mult you will not get any voltage drop from the original signal.

Notes: Morcom Expander for micro Turing Machine (Alan)

An expander for After Later's Alan module (a smaller version of the Turing Machine) that exposes the pulse outputs from the main Alan module. You get 7 seven random outputs and then 4 that are derived from other 7 outputs. When 1 and 2 are high then the 1+2 outputs is high. You can get some great rhythmic effects using these in conjunction with the main stepped CV output.

The module comes with the required cable to connect to the main module. The panel is designed to compliment Alan, After Later's micro version of the Turing Machine.

The module comes with a 1 year warranty.

Notes: This is a new build of a Monsoon, which is a variation of Mutable Instruments Clouds with separate CV and controls for the 4 "blend" functions. The 4 LEDs on the sliders indicate incoming control voltage for the 4 main parameters. The button which was used to select blend parameters now simply switches what the 4 LEDs display (audio input monitoring or monitoring the 4 blend amounts.) Parasites 2.01 firmware is loaded by default. Alternative firmware can be loaded by request.

Mixer section

Channel 1 and Channel 2 are three channel mixers with potentiometers to control level of three different inputs for each channel. Each channel then has a potentiometer to control panning as well as CV control for panning and level control

Panning and VCA

The VC panners are equal loudness panning and the VCAs for each channel are linear response.

Built-in LFO

There is a built-in LFO that is normalled to the panning CV input of each channel. CH1 gets the standard LFO and CH2 gets an inverse, enabling alternating channel panning. The default is to use a TRI wave for the LFO, but there is a jumper on the back to switch it to SQU.

Notes: DVCA

DVCA is a dual VCA based on the Mutable Instruments Veils. It features two separate voltage-controlled amplifiers, both with a gain and a response curve potentiometer, that is variable from linear to exponential. The outputs are normalized, so when no patch cable is present on output 1, output 2 will contain both signals, allowing the module to be used as a mixer. Several DVCAs can be daisy-chained for voltage-controlled mixer operation. It comes with jack lights that can be disabled via a jumper on the back.

These modules use tall bushing potentiometers to offer a more stable feel.

The module is fully assembled and tested. Eurorack power cable included.

Notes: An interface for the case 1/4" jacks in Intelljel cases. The jacks are marked as if they are part of the case, so the jacks marked out, require an input.

The module sports both input and output for either a consumer line level (0.447Vpk) or a professional line level (1.095Vpk). These levels are controllable via jumper on the back of the module. It can also have a single input and output channel switched to pedal level. The case output is fed to the headphone amp that has a corresponding level control. The module otherwise does not have any level control and relies on using a VCA or other module to perform any level controls.

The module can essentially be run in one of three modes:

1) Stereo line level in and out

2) Stereo line level in and out via the left side and mono pedal in and out on the right side. In this mode the stereo line levels leverage TRS on the 1/4" jacks. You can use the included 3.5mm couplers to get TRS on the 3.5mm side.

3) Mono line level in and out via the left side and mono pedal in and out on the right side.

For Palette 64hp users only have two 1/4" jacks. You can choose if you want to use the case jacks as either inputs, outputs, or one input and one output.
