Detroit's always innovative Wajeed returns to his own Dirt Tech Reck label with his last EP of the year. As always it blends soulful sounds, machine funk, authentic house groves and is sprinkled with vocals, trumpet and jazzy melodies that get at both heart and heel. Superb opener 'All The Way Thru' is laced with intricate samples and funk and soul drenched drums that will surely take it to anthemic status. 'Neptune's Symphony' is Wajeed's ode to the unknowns of space and 'Dry Hatin' is a track in which the artist addresses "my own nativity" with brilliant results.
