'Provenance' is a perfectly unhurried nine minutes which defies the modern way of serving up content in short, shape, attention grabbing bursts. Instead this is a deep and dubby sound with a slow, lumbering rhythm and smudged synths that provides the basis for your brain to go off an explore on its own. The Don Williams remix provides a more direct sound but it is still super deep and fluid and a final cut ice against casts you adrift in a sea of dub techno tranquility.
