Review: Meticulously produced and polished to cosmic perfection, Kirk Degiorgio's live outfit have excelled any expectations they set way back in 2006 with their eponymous debut. Co-created with Dutch jazz specialists the Metropole Orchestra, each soft-but-complex track sparkles with dreamy sheen that's not dissimilar to early Soundgarden or Patrick Watson or, at points, the Bee Gees. Add a little Jim Noir or Hot Chip and it's the perfect blend of rock, classical musicianship and contemporary electronic production.
