Review: Apparently eight years in the making, "Costellazione K78" is the collaborative effort of Discodromo and Massimiliano Pagliara. It's a truly cosmic affair that channels a generous amount of warm, 70s sound into its component parts as it sets a course for the stars. The A-side houses the original throbbing epic in its pure form, restrained in parts but with a bold narrative arc that reaches further out with every passing bar. Meanwhile on the flip you can feast your ears on the more boldly defined dub version, which amps up the FX and synth vamps for a truly interstellar space trip.

Review: Jennifer Cardini's Correspondant imprint is back with a split EP by Italian nu disco whiz Massimilliano Pagliara and emerging producer Benoit Gagnon. Story has it these guys met a few years back, with Gagnon sending these tracks to Pagliara for nothing more than feedback. Pagliara ended up loving these tracks so much that he added his personal touch to the tracks and here we have it: Correspondant 40. "In Spirals" is deep funky disco with a Balearic touch. "Agamous" is a rusty acid house jam that sounds like it was made in '88. On the flip we have "Go South" which sounds more like the Pagliara we know on this epic synth-disco odyssey and finally "Don't Push Me" uses live drums and soaring Arp leads effectively on this uplifting little gem.

Review: Massimiliano Pagliara's love affair with Live At Robert Johnson continues here with his Magic Serials EP. The typo-in-waiting Italian producer first appeared on the Offenbach-based imprint in 2009 with the Toxic Love EP; this was followed in 2011 by a mesmeric debut album, Focus For Infinity, an extensive opus that fully showcased Pagliara's penchant for soulful, melodic house. Magic Serials pays titular homage to the serial numbers of the equipment used in the production of the tracks, with the resulting titles reminiscent of Andreas Tilliander's recent work under the TM404 alias. A-Side opener "JP4-808-P5-106-DEP5? employs spectral Carpenter-esque synths, while "MS20-707-M/P-P6-SPX90? sparkles with an 80s sheen that reminds us of the recent FXHE output. On the flipside, "LM2-JP4-106-606-BL-303-SDE2000-P6-TX81Z" slows the tempo to a woozy, anaesthetised pace.

Review: After the success of his debut album for Live At Robert Johnson, Massimiliano Pagliara is under the knife once more for a second batch of remixes that finds solace in the warmth of old analogue house. Rotciv takes a steady and uplifting stance on the jack with his reworking of "Fade The Light", while Nicholas lets a laconic square wave bass do that talking in a thoroughly heads-down take on "I'll Never Be". The most distinctive remix has to be DJ Sotofett's remix of "Harmonize", which takes a bumping rhythm and puts clashing pads over it in a style reminiscent of early 808 State - in a word, awesome.

Review: As Benedikt Rugar's superbly illustrated cover art for the recent CockTail D'Amore compilation Nothing Matters When We're Dancing proved, the Berlin collective proudly celebrate their status as a forum for Berlin's gay community to fully express themselves. With no releases on the label since that compilation arrived in January, Discodromo and DJ Boris have now unveiled a sister operation with a focus on edits under the wonderful name CockRing D'Amore. The debut release features contributions from label regular Massimiliano Pagliara, the unheralded Trent and founders Discodromo.
