Review: Dave Clarke's Red Series remains a vital benchmark in the evolution of UK techno. Released between 1993 and 1996, the three-volume run even managed to brush the UK top 40 back in the good old days when anything felt possible. Tracks like 'Wisdom To The Wise' will forever be etched in the make up of techno, and for very good reason. Now the whole series is being given a lavish reissue treatment which takes in all the original releases along with additional discs of rare, archival tracks and remixes, all bundled up in a box with a booklet and autographed by the Baron himself.

Review: Second time around for Madonna's Finally Enough Love box set, which celebrates the iconic artist's unique achievement of notching up no less than 50 number ones on the Billboard Dance chart - the first artist in history to do so. In effect, it's a celebration of her Madgesty's links with dance music culture, showcasing 40 years of popular reworks of her biggest hits, presented in a 'rainbow edition' box set where each of the six slabs of wax is pressed onto different coloured vinyl. So, alongside classic early hits and reworks from 1987 remix album You Can Dance, we get revisions by everyone from Junior Jasquez, Jellybean, Shep Pettinone and Pet Shop Boys, to William Orbit, Aviici, Felx De Housecat, Jacques Lu Cont and Tracey Young. Review: American singer-songwriter Bruce Springsteen is about as big a music star as there could possible be. It all began in January 1973 when the legendary rocker dropped his debut album, Greetings from Asbury Park, NJ which is now back in print in several different formats as a "hybrid" remastered version that brings together both regular and "super audio" versions. It's a still superb album that laid out The Boss's sonic vision and was noted by Rolling Stone critic Lester Bangs for being dexterous and on point socially. Bluesy rockers, semi-acoustic treats, funky workouts and plenty more all feature on this limited edition 180 gram audiophile vinyl.

Review: New age fans and Celtic music aficionados unite, for high priestess Enya is presenting an authoritative, long awaited vinyl edition of her 1997 greatest hits box set A Box Of Dreams. Enya's enduring popularity since her debut in the mid 80s remains a beacon of hope for humanity - a shout out for optimism and serenity in a world where such qualities feel indulgent if they're to be found at all. Gathering together the best of her work from her 1986 debut up to 1997's Paint The Sky With Stars best of, the music has been arranged around three thematic collections, Oceans, Clouds and Stars, moving from the upbeat via piano instrumentals on to choral and meditative ballads. Sleeve notes and some additional poetry from Roma Ryan make this a special edition which fans will rejoice at.

Review: Airto Moreira and Flora Purim are known as the legendary King and Queen of Brazilian Jazz. For the last 60 years they have been serving up rich and vivid albums as well as playing exhilarating live shows all over the world. They have fans all over the world from Japan's concert halls to the UK's jazz funk and jazz dance scenes and their latest album in 2022, If You Will, was nominated for a Grammy, proving that they very much still have it. A Celebration: 60 Years - Sounds, Dreams & Other Stories is a collection of their many best bits from over the years.

Review: So Tough was Saint Etienne's second album, and it properly broke the band into the wider public consciousness thanks to their canny blend of house music, Balearic and melancholic indie. To date it remains the highest charting of their albums, helped no doubt by Sarah Cracknell becoming a permanent member of the band, the free-spirited nature of independent music in the early 90s and the success of the single 'Youre In A Bad Way'. Some 30 years on from its original release, So Tough is getting the luxury reissue treatment in the form of a triple-vinyl pressing, a 7" and a 28-page booklet - surely essential for any of the band's devoted fanbase.

Amused To Death is the third studio album from Roger Waters outside of his work in Pink Floyd. As one of the fundamental creative forces in the prog behemoth, of course it's hard to separate his solo work from that most famous of bands, but this is indeed its own beast. At times it's an experimental space in which Waters uses space and minimalism to great effect, creating a foreboding sound peppered with speech samples and field recordings. There are of course plenty of more straightforward tracks too, like lead single 'What God Wants, Part 1'. This lavish issue of the 1992 album spreads the music out across four discs and comes in a box set format, a must-have for devoted Floyd and Waters collectors.

Review: Following the enduring success of the 2017 action RPG Horizon Zero Dawn - in which we play as Aloy, a lone human hunter lost and confused in a world overrun by giant, aggressive mechs - now comes Horizon Forbidden West, its sequel, along with a brand new soundtrack by the game franchise's extensive in-house roster of composers. Matching the game's theme of environmental restoration and a return to purer pasts, we hear soaring original compositions from Niels van der Leest, The Fligght, Oleksa Lozowchuk and Joris De Man, all compiled onto a deluxe 6xLP edition - for the merch-heads, there's even an exclusive slipmat, a t-shirt, and several inserts with extensive notes on the game and music bundled in there too.

Review: Brum As Fuck is a massive compilation of techno bits from the legendary House Of God label, which is now celebrating its 30th anniversary. The comp contains tunes from some of the most influential and respected names in the niche 'Birmingham sound' enclave of techno, namely Surgeon, Regis, Makaton, Paul Damage, Jerome Hill, Neil Landstrumm and more. Classic HOG anthems sit side-by-side with unreleased gems, showing off the colossal sublimity of a grating yet riveting sound. The coyly named Lentil Hugger Edition is a limited and eco-friendly version of the set, featuring six vinyl records in repurposed boxes from other releases, and of course decorated with HOG stickers.

Review: By 1995 and the release of It's A Man's World, Cher was already up to her 21st studio album. It marked the start of her second period with the Warner Group and hit the Top 10 of the UK Charts as well as being certified gold. It features an unconventional mix of songs that draw on the Deep South as well as her pop and rock roots. The biggest tine of them all is 'Walking In Memphis' which remains an ever popular sing along hit to this day and is a cover of Marc Cohn's song of the same name. This Deluxe Edition reissue comes on eight sides of coloured vinyl.

Review: If we were to tell you that the original touring show for this now slightly more than 40 year old Jethro Tull album featured a stage built to resemble a Viking longship and the band performing in medieval costume, your reaction would very much give us a good indication of whether you were likely to enjoy the LP itself. Coming, in 1982, as the band hit a serious crossroads, with singer Ian Anderson wanting to embrace new synth technology and others favouring sticking to the traditional prog/rock/folk triptych that had been so successful in the previous decade, it's actaully more modern in places than its sleeve suggests, with 'Watching Me Watching You' in particular showing the influence of Peter Gabriel's first solo albums and standing the test of time well. With a heap of extras, including a heap of contemporaneous live recordings from Germany, the Tull completist will be donning their viking helmet at the merest sniff of it.

The 1971 classic album by Canadian singer-songwriter Joni Mitchell, Blue is widely thought by many music lovers to be one of the best albums of all time. Already well into her career by the time of its release - it's her fourth album - it was certainly Mitchell's best yet, reflecting a period in her life where she took a break from touring and live performing to focus on creation. Its confessional and poetic lyrics, not to mention the distinctively groggy yet idyllic guitar and piano playing on songs like 'All I Want', 'River', 'A Case Of You', heard Mitchell encapsulate the various milestones, Renaissances and turning points of the contemporary rock landscape of the 1970s, into a singular LP.

Review: Celebrated jazz man Charles Mingus took Manhattan by storm when he played a series of legendary darts at the world famous Birdland venue in New York between 1961 and 196. Now, in conjunction with the Mingus Estate, the complete collection of those sessions make it to vinyl for the first time ever. Mingus Takes Manhattan - The Complete Birdland Dates: 1961 - 1962 is taken from the original reel-to-reel tapes used for the radio broadcasts at the time. These rare recordings comes with a 44-page book with a foreword from Christian McBride.

Review: This expansive 70-track collection spans the Dragon Age game series, including songs from Dragon Age: Origins (2009), Dragon Age II (2011), and Dragon Age: Inquisition (2014) throughout discs 1-3. As a bonus, the fourth disc features seven tracks chosen from DLC plus an additional nine fan-favorite bard songs from Dragon Age: Inquisition. Deluxe package features all-original artwork by Dragon Age concept director Ramil Sunga and lead UX artist Danny Richardson, created exclusively for this album set. The beautifully detailed artwork presents a pictorial timeline following the lore of the Dragon Age series, beginning at the dawn of the golden city, throughout the city's fall and culminating in its re-emergence as the black city, seat of the old gods.

Review: Celebrating its 30-year anniversary with a monolithic deluxe edition, Green Day's Dookie has gone on to become one of the cornerstones of pop-punk, pre-dating Blink-182 with its global expansion. Spawning timeless anthems such as 'Basket Case', 'Longview' and pop smash hit 'When I Come Around'; the album signalled the artistic prowess and bright future the band have continued to live up to in the decades since. Complete with 17 previously unreleased demos, studio outtakes and both their Woodstock 1994 and unreleased Barcelona 1994 live performances, as well as a 36-page book cataloguing the creative journey of these formative years, this 6xLP beast is not for the faint of heart but for the devout and avid legions of generation spanning followers the trio still continue to amass to this day.

Review: Die Gestalten's commitment to gnarly underground electro continues apace with this triple-pack monster from the shadowy figure. As ever there's a steely, almost industrial focus to the sound, where machine funk goes heavy on the machine. There is space for some melodic warmth as well, such as the cosy lead lines cresting over the top of 'Der Sucher' and the artfully modulated live version of 'Traenen'. But even in these more approachable moments there's a sense of robotic detachment - this is electro in the purist, icy sense of the word. If you thirst for a large dose of truly underground gear from a lone wolf, this payload will have you body popping for days.

A new special edition of The Beatles' Revolver comes courtesy of Apple, the original label on which the fab four released some of their most seminal works. Featuring a new mix and master by Giles Martin and Sam Okell, this version contains yet another 100-page book with a foreword by Paul McCartney and an unlikely essay by Questlove of The Roots.

Made and released way back in 1958, Somethin' Else is a classic jazz album by the American alto saxophonist Cannonball Adderley, notably his only ever album for the esteemed Blue Note label. It famously hears Adderley enlist the help of trumpeter Miles Davis as one of its sidemen, and this was an ongoing relationship that later paved the way for popular jazz as a whole; without Somethin' Else, we wouldn't have Kind Of Blue, for which Adderley would contribute his sax playing just a year later. Though it is a testament to the unity of two great core musicians, we also hear the piano stylings of Hank Jones, bassist Sam Jones and drummer Art Blakey.

Twenty years ago it sounded like an oddly poignant evocation of pre-millennial tension. Two decades later it stands as an eerily prescient glimpe into the technological alienation and dislocation of of a new era. Yet more importantly, OK Computer is no more or less than a sparkling, dramatic and moving collection of songs that haven't lost any of their impact in the interim. The sound of a band stubbornly refusing to follow up the stadium-strafing stylings of its predecessor The Bends - and instead bursting headlong into experimentation and wild creativity -is portrayed in still more vivid colours by the alarmingly strong collection of out-takes and B-sides collected herein, Yet there's no getting away from the chill and spark that marked out OK Computer from everything surrounding it in the post-Britpop malaise, and continues to do so in the pre-Brexit counterpart.
