Teia Ripwave Compact Analogue Timbre Oscillator Module Teia Ripwave Compact Analogue Timbre Oscillator Module
Cat: 1091415

A compact analog VCO designed for rich sonic exploration and offering a wide range of timbral variation - from saturation, wavefolding, pulse width modification and more - 6HP.
Notes: RipWave is a compact 6HP analog VCO designed for rich sonic exploration in a small footprint. At the heart of its design is the Transform knob: a unique, voltage-controllable parameter that shapes the character of each waveform. It offers a wide range of timbral variation, from saturation to wavefolding, harmonic morphing, and pulse width modulation, all in a single control.

On the Sine output, the Transform knob applies a tanh() saturation circuit, gradually shaping the waveform from a pure tone into a warmer, slightly overdriven version. As you turn the knob, the wave is smoothly compressed and harmonics are introduced, adding character without harsh clipping.

For the Triangle wave, turning the Transform knob folds the waveform through a transistor wavefolder, shaping the timbre of the signal by adding harmonic complexity. An additional soft clipping diode saturation stage keeps the amplitude in check, taming peaks while introducing additional character.

In the case of the saw output, the waveform is generated by combining two complementary signals: one waveform containing only odd harmonics, the other only even harmonics. The Transform knob controls the balance between them. At the center position, both are equally summed to produce a Sawtooth wave. Turning the knob blends between the two, letting you isolate odd or even harmonics and shape the timbre across a wide range of harmonic textures.

The Transform knob performs a more traditional role with the Pulse wave, acting as a pulse width control. At the center position, it produces a classic Square wave with a 50% duty cycle. Turning the knob shifts the duty cycle toward narrower or wider pulses, delivering the familiar pulse width modulation sound.

An octave switch provides quick transposition and includes an LFO mode for low-frequency modulation duties, allowing RipWave's uniquely shaped waveforms to be used as modulation sources. RipWave also features both sync and linear FM inputs. The sync input allows the oscillator to be reset by an external signal, creating harmonically rich or rhythmically locked results depending on the source. A rear-panel jumper lets you select between hard and soft sync modes to suit different patching contexts.

The linear FM input offers a wide modulation range, from subtle pitch modulation and vibrato to deeper, more complex timbral shifts depending on modulation depth.

Though initially designed as a companion for VastWave, RipWave has developed a strong identity of its own. It performs equally well as a standalone oscillator in a compact system or alongside its larger sibling. Whether used for Lead voices, complex layering, or modulation, it delivers a wide range of shaping options. From warm tones to ripping textures, RipWave pushes all waveforms into harmonically rich territory, making every output well suited for East Coast - style subtractive synthesis as well as West Coast - style waveshaping systems.

Rossum Control Forge Programmable Universal CV Generator Module (black)
Cat: 1092743 Rel: 06 Jun 25

Function generator module with 8 segments, each offering variable time constants, target voltage levels & curves - 12HP
Notes: Control Forge's core functionality is drawn from the E-mu Morpheus's insanely powerful (but hard to program on a two-line display) Function Generators. But now expanded into a supremely flexible modulation source encompassing elaborate one-shot contours, evolving cyclical patterns and sequences of arbitrary length and complexity.

At its most basic, it's an 8-segment function generator with variable time and target voltage level for each segment. Each segment's level can be defined either absolutely or relative to the ending level of the previous stage and can optionally be quantized to the nearest 1/12 volt, additionally, each segment's level may have a user defined range of randomness of either linear or gaussian distribution.

'Tempo Mode' lets you specify each segment's length in musical note values relative to a tempo set in BPM. The time scale may be modulated under CV control or manually via the encoder during runtime.

There are 67 different transition shapes between segments (indicated graphically on the display during selection), from linear and exponential shapes to various flavours of random, chaotic, and many more that don't lend themselves to one-word descriptions, including the ability to pass CVs directly through to the output for individual segments. Also included are 'DC' shapes that allow the module to be used as a sequencer with all of the module's available programmability. When combined with the Preset Sequencer described below, sequences can be hundreds of steps long and modified in real time manually or by CVs.

Each segment may optionally have a conditional jump mode that results in a jump to another selected stage if a particular condition is met. e.g. a CV being above or below the selected conditional value, the presence or lack of a gate or logic high at their respective inputs, rising or falling edges at the inputs, etc. So, in addition to one-shot shapes, extremely elaborate cyclical patterns can be programmed that evolve based on the various conditional inputs.

Control Forge's AutoChain functionality allows the creation of two very specific kinds of multi-preset patterns: A multi-preset retriggerable pattern (like a long syncable LFO), and a multi-preset 'envelope-like' pattern with retriggerability, an optional sustain section, and a 'release' section that's jumped to on gate fall. Two independent triggers can be programmed to fire in response to a variety of events and can be used to affect either CONTROL FORGE itself or external modules.

500 presets can be saved and recalled. a preset sequencer allows stepping through up to 200 user-defined series of presets under trigger, clock or manual control. This allows contours and sequences of almost unlimited length and complexity. All presets and sequences can be transferred to any number of Satellite modules, which can then operate as stand-alone modulation sources, completely independent of the Control Forge.

Doepfer A-155-2 Miniature Analogue Sequencer Module
Cat: 1092095 Rel: 06 Jun 25

Compact 8-step analog sequencer module - 12HP
Notes: Module A-155-2 is a small, very compact designed analog sequencer with a lot of features. The sequence length is 8 steps. Each step has available a control for the adjustment of the control voltage for this step and an illuminated momentary switch (button). The buttons are used in the standard running mode to turn on/off the gate of the step in question (button illuminated = gate on, not illuminated = gate off). In combination with other controls at the bottom of the front panel the buttons are used for additional functions: depending on the position of the Program toggle switch the button Function is used to program the length of the sequence (switch position Limit), the running direction (switch position Direct.) or to call up the preset management (switch position Preset)

When function Direct (Direction) is selected these running modes are available:

Up

Down

2 x Up (each step is played twice with the normal tempo, not to be confused with Ratcheting x2, see below)

2 x Down (each step is played twice with the normal tempo, not to be confused with Ratcheting x2, see below)

Pendulum type 1 (start and end step are played twice)

2 x Pendulum type 1 (each step is played twice with the normal tempo, start and end step are played 4x)

Pendulum type 2 (start and end step are played once)

Random (Rnd)

When function Preset is selected the illuminated buttons are used to call up one of the 8 presets. In each preset these parameters are stored: active steps, running direction, length of the sequence, ratcheting. To call up one of the 8 stored presets one has to push and hold the button Function and then operate short-time one of the buttons 1 - 8 while the toggle switch Program is in position Preset. To store the present paramaters in one of the 8 presets the procedure is similar but one has to operate one of the buttons 1 - 8 for a longer time (approx 3 seconds).

Depending on the position of the Program toggle switch the Ratcheting button is used to program the ratcheting feature (x2, x3, x4) individually for each step of the sequence (toggle switch Program in position Rx2, Rx3 or Rx4). In case that at the step in question another ratcheting is already programmed (eg x2 or x3 when x4 is chosen) the other ratcheting is overwritten (kind of radio button function between the ratchetings x2, x3 and x4). Details about the ratcheting function are explained at the module A-160-5.

The button Start/Stop is used to start or stop the sequence manually. Button Reset sets the sequence to the first step. For this also the external input Reset can be used.

The module does not feature built in clock generator. Rather an external Clock signal is used. The positive edge of the incoming clock signal triggers the advance of the sequence to the next step.

The voltage range of the control voltage generated by the module can be switched to 3 different ranges by the toggle switch Range: 0 - +1V / 0 - +2V / 0 - +4V. The control voltage is available at socket CV. The voltage is not quantized. But there is an internal pin header available that outputs the data via Midi (note on/off from Midi note 36. Midi channel 1). It can be used to control a MIDI-to-CV interface if quantized control voltages are required, eg the planned Micro-CV-Interface A-190-9)

The Gate signal appears at socket Gate. The pulsewidth of the gate signal is defined by the pulsewidth of the clock signal provided that ratcheting is not active at the step in question.

Controls and displays:

1 - 8 (rotary controls): manual adjustment of the control voltage for each step

1 - 8 (illuminated momentary switches/buttons): manual gate setting for each step, also used for special functions in combination with other controls (setting of first/last step, running direction, ratcheting)

Range: toggle switch for selection of the control voltage range

Program: toggle switch for selection of a function in combination with the buttons Ratcheting and Function

Ratcheting: button for the programming of ratcheting in combination with the toggle switch Program

Function: button for the programming of sequence length (Limit) and running direction (Direct) as well as for the Preset management (Preset)

Sta/Stp: button for the manual control of Start and Stop, in running state the LED of this button displays the state of the Gate output (ie it flashes in the rhythm of the Gate output)

Reset : manual reset button

CV : control voltage output

Gate : gate output

Clock: clock input, the pulsewidth of the clocjk signal defines the pulsewidth gate signal

Reset: reset control input, reset type selectable via internal jumpers (eg positive edge triggers the jump to first step/positive leveltriggers the jump to first step and remains at first step as long as the reset input is high/waiting for the next positive edge of the clock signals before reset is carried out)

Black Noise Eclipse Stereo Analogue Oscillator Module
Cat: 1091787 Rel: 06 Jun 25

VCO Module utilising a waveshaper to open up a wide range of sonic possibities and dynamic control - 14HP
Notes: The idea behind Eclipse is to combine the raw character of vintage analog oscillators with modern features for crafting rich, complex, and expressive sounds.

Eclipse's development started with a high-precision analog triangle oscillator that tracks accurately over 10 octaves, with all the I/O expected from a premium analog oscillator.

While looking for ways to generate complex harmonics without relying on a classic wavefolder, we came across the VCS3's waveshaper. This unique feature of the EMS synth sparked the idea to design our own waveshaper from scratch, opening up a wide range of sonic possibilities and dynamic control to bring sound to life.

During the design process, we discovered the waveshaper's unique potential for stereo processing, which led to a dedicated stereo section to spread and move waveforms across the stereo field while maintaining perfect balance at any setting.

Eclipse offers full CV control across all parameters, with smart normalization enabling global modulation from a single source. With many special features like XFM, ULFO, Stereo Pulse Array Modulation, Stereo Pulsed Saw Modulation, RM/AM capabilities, Eclipse is much more than just a VCO.

Tesseract Smith 8x8 Programmable Matrix Module
Cat: 1087289

input/output module that can be used to store presets in your modular setup or to create more layers of modulation in your setup - 12HP
Notes: Smith: it's an 8 inputs & 8 outputs precision buffered matrix with presets. Each of the 8 outputs can take the signal from any of the 8 inputs, allowing over 16 million possible combinations.

This is not a mixer, the same input can be routed to many outputs, but several inputs can't be present at the same output simultaneously. The module works with both audio and CV signals, ins & outs have i10 volts range and minimum offset (1 millivolt approx.), which makes it perfect for distributing V/Oct signals too.

8 scenes that can be accessed through the dedicated push buttons but also by CV and trigger. 8 banks (with 8 scenes each, 64 scenes per preset). 8 persistent presets (with 8 banks of 8 scenes each).

This module can be used to store 'presets' for your live setup, allowing patch changes and easy rerouting signals with literally just pressing a button.

Another (more chaotic) way to use it is to plug several modulation sources to the inputs (such as envelopes, LFOs, sequenced CVs) and several modulation destinations to the outputs (filter cutoff, PWM, VCAs...). If you want to introduce a variation in the sound, select a different scene or directly randomize the current one to drastically change 'what is modulating what'.

Using audio sources can lead us to interesting territories too, sequencing waveform changes or using different processors (filter, distortion, folder...). Keep in mind that the switch performs pretty fast and the signal is passed without any modification (to preserve its accuracy, which is pretty important when using the module for v/oct) so with audio, the switching may be clicky. This depends on the sound source too, with 'dirty' ones there's no problem but with clean ones, like low pitched sine waves, it will be.

BlaknBlu Oscar Tria Triple Mode Stereo VCO Module
Cat: 1081156

VCO module that functions as a stereo oscillator, a super saw/square/triangle/sub and a chord engine,
Notes: Oscar Tria packs a lot of VCO into 10HP. There are three main modes described below.

Green Mode:

A 'traditional' stereo oscillator. In Green Mode you get the usual three waveforms - saw, triangle and square (with variable pulse width, of course) but you can continuously vary the waveform between the three. For instance, by turning the waveform knob to be just to the saw side of triangle, you get a sound very much like the Minimoog's 'shark tooth'. Green mode also gives you a square wave sub oscillator - one octave below the main oscillators - and a sub sub, two octaves below. Oscar Tria is stereo, of course, so you can detune one oscillator for a rich stereo image - or sum the two outputs to mono and you have two oscillators with two subs, for a BIG sound. Green mode also features through zero FM, and hard sync.

Yellow Mode:

Super-saw! And super-square! And super-triangle! With a sub (of course). Yellow mode allows you to control the number of oscillators making up the super-whatever, from one (not really super) to 24! Again, being stereo you get up to 12 oscillators in one channel and 12 in the other. Add the sub for a HUGE sound.

Orange Mode:

This is a chord engine, with 20 selectable chords. There are controls to select which chord you want and how many notes are played (over two octaves). CV control allows you to set pitch and chord independently, so you can set up a polyphonic sequence, for instance. Again, the output is stereo with detune control of one output.

Doepfer A-149-3 Fluctuating Random Voltages Module
Cat: 1081649

Based on the homonymous "Fluctuating Random Voltages" by Buchla, with more functions added
Notes: A-149-3 is the third module of the A-149-x range. In this group, this module present several functions of Don Buchla's "Source of Uncertainty 265/266" (SOU) modules that cannot be realized with existing A-100 modules. Some functions of Buchla's 265 and 266 SOU can be realized with existing A-100 modules.

Module A-149-3 is based on the homonymous "Fluctuating Random Voltages" by Buchla. Compared to the historic original, a lot of functions have been added. For example the user has access to virtually all internal signals (e.g. Noisy Triangle or S&H) and there are a lot of adjustable parameters which were fixed in the original.

For example, the frequency and noisiness of the internal triangle oscillator, the correlation of the S&H and manual or automatic frequency control of the S&H clock oscillator. The fixed internal connections of the original are wired to sockets in the A-149-3 and can be used also individually as the connections of the original are realized as normalled sockets. That way e.g. the S&H or slew unit can be used independent from the other units.

The functions in detail:

As in the original a digital noise signal is filtered in three different ways. The three "noise flavours" are available at three sockets and can be used for all kind of noise applications:

+3db (+3dB per octave, a bright noise, also called blue noise)
-3dB (-3dB per octave, a dark noise, also called red or brown noise, Allan Strange calls it "reciprocal white noise")
Flat (flat spectrum, also called pink noise)

In the original the -3dB output is used add some noise to an internal triangle oscillator with fixed frequency (~ 100 Hz) and fixed "noisiness". The result is called "noisy triangle". In the A-149-3 the frequency of the triangle oscillator and the level of the noisiness can be adjusted. The frequency is adusted by means of the Frq. control and the Range switch (~ 110Hz ... 5 seconds period in position high). In addition one can select between the -3dB and Flat output as noisiness source by means of an internal jumper. When Noisiness control is fully CCW one obtains a clean undisturbed triangle signal. With Noisiness control fully CW the result is a triangle signal with a lot of noise or randomness. The noisy triangle signal is available at the socket "N Tri" and is displayed with a dual colour LED.

The "N Tri" signal is normalled to the signal input of the subsequent Sample&Hold unit (S&H). The clock signal for the S&H is generated by an internal rectangle oscillator. This signal is normalled to the S&H clock socket and is displayed by an LED. One can select between manual and automatic control of the clock period by means of a toggle switch. In position "man." the period is controlled manually by the "Period" control. With control "Period" fully CCW one obtains the shortest period or highest frequency. Turning the control up increases the period or lowers the frequency. In position "auto" of the switch the period is controlled by the slew unit.

In this position a vactrol is used to define the frequency of the S&H clock. This vactrol is controlled in the same way as the vactrols of the slew unit, i.e. the period of the S&H clock changes simultaneously with the slew time. In the historic original only the auto mode was available. There was no manual control available.

The S&H has another special feature: the Correllation control. It's a feedback function where shares of the S&H output are fed back to the S&H signal input and mixed with the actual S&H input signal. The result is slurring the signal like a sub-audio lowpass filter, kind of a "digital slew function" because the gradation of the signal persists.

The S&H output is availabe at the corresponding socket and is displayed with a dual colour LED.

The S&H output is normalled to the signal input of the subsequent Slew Limiter unit (SL). The core of the slew limiter are two vactrols (vactrol = combination of a light emitting diode/LED and a light dependent resistor/LDR built into lightproof case). The brightness of the vactrol LEDs can be controlled manually (control "Man." of the slew unit) and by an external control voltage (socket "SL CV" with associated attenuator "CV" of the slew unit). The brightness of the vactrol LEDs is displayed at the top of the front planel. As already mentioned a third vactrol can be used to control the frequency of the S&H clock oscillator simultaneously to the slew limiter. The SL output is availabe at the corresponding socket and is displayed with a dual colour LED.

Due to the access facilities to many of the internal signals and connections it's possible to use the sub-units also for other applications. E.g. the noisy triangle signal, the S&H unit (incl. correlation) or the SL unit can be used for other signals. The S&H clock can be applied also from outside to synchronize the S&H to other signals.

If required, the internal clock signal is available at a pin header of the pc board.

WMDevices Skorpion Waveform Reanimator Module
Cat: 1089360

8-stage analogue wavefolder that allows you to precisely mangle simple waveforms into complex shapes with a fun, hands on fader interface
Notes: After five years of conceptualization, development, stress, company destruction and relocation, redesign, existential questions, prototyping, and willpower, WMD's Skorpion is ready to decimate and reanimate whatever you throw at it -- creating goosebump worthy sounds you've never heard before.

Skorpion is the epitome of WMD's ethos, "New Sounds, Maximum Experience". Painstakingly designed UI, all the CV I/O and controls you could ask for, and a broad spectrum of subtle to 100% NOT subtle swarms of harmonics, chaos, and character. This module is packed full of features to provide continuously explorable fun whether you are experimenting or meticulously crafting a sound that is 100% yours.

Skorpion builds on WMD's's long pedigree of experimental module designs, exploring a new method of wavefolding using thresholds and target voltages to control a powerful vector core. The design process has been very technically challenging, using high speed cmos and precise analog design with hybrid digital overlay for a solid UI.

Skorpion is an 8-stage analog wavefolder that allows you to precisely mangle simple waveforms into complex shapes with a fun, hands on fader interface. Taking the concept many steps further, internal modulation sources allow for macro animation of multiple parameters simultaneously, creating rich, evolving harmonic movement never heard before in hardware.

The Controls

The SHAPE and SLOPE controls allow for smoother or harsher added harmonics, and the 1V/OCT CV input is required for tracking timbre across notes.

FOLD controls the input gain of the signal, causing it to hit each of the eight THRESHOLDS causing a reversal in the output at each point. The signal can be driven towards one of three TARGETs: 5V, the Sliders, or the signal at the CLIP jack (normalled from IN).

SLOPE controls the baseline rate of the output, the higher the slope, the higher the harmonics. The overall slope rate is modified by 1V/OCT and SHAPE.

SHIFT is the classical vertical shift that makes the wavefolder sound like a chorus with subtle modulation.

SHAPE is a feedback control affecting the slope rate of the wavefolder. Eight different sources are available for feedback. The SYM switch decides whether the modulation is applied symmetrically when above or below 0V.

OUTPUT controls whats at the output jacks, the DRY signal, the WET signal, or a mid side stereo processed WIDE signal. WIDE is generated using a second vector core with a variable short delay. If all THRESHOLDS are inactive, a gate is normaled here. The intention being that if the input signal is too low to cause any folding, the OUTPUT circuit is pulled DRY so that you never get silence from the Skorpion.

The EQUALIZE THOLDs switch disables the sliders and forces an equally spaced threshold more akin to classic wavefolders. Modulation is disabled in this mode. Also controllable with a jack.

TARGET ORDER determines which slider is selected when the threshold is activated. Basically, it allows for a different order on the way up as way down producing pleasingly different timbres when using the sliders for target.

SYNC has three modes, OFF in the center. HARD which resets the vector core to 0V at every zero crossing of the input waveform. and SOFT which vectors core toward 0V at the current rate.

HALT IF TARG=0 makes the vector core draw a horizontal line if the TARGET slider for that threshold is at 0 (fully down).

ANIMATION - Sliders, Spring Action Switch, and Macro Envelope:
There are 13 total internal modulation sources. A primary MACRO ENVELOPE, eight (8) Threshold LFOs, and four (4) CV modulators that normal to the FOLD, SLOPE, SHIFT, and SHAPE attenuverters. The CV modulators can be LFOs or Envelopes.

The switch rests in the center, making the sliders control the THRESHOLDs. When held to the left, the sliders set the TARGETs. When held to the right, the sliders control the MACRO SETUP detailed below.

The MACRO ENVELOPE is an Attack/Hold/Release style envelope. A gate here will start the envelope, lighting the LED blue, while the envelopes level will glow red. The times for Attack and Release are controlled in the MACRO SETUP mode by the first two sliders.

The MACRO ENVELOPE modulates the amplitude of all LFOs. If the CV modulators are set as envelopes, then the gate will start the envelopes, but they otherwise operate independently.

MACRO SETUP:

Parameters are modified in MACRO SETUP by holding the switch to the right and moving respective sliders.

Macro Envelope's Attack Time
Macro Envelope's Release Time
Threshold LFO Amount
Threshold LFO Rates
Fold LFO/ENV Rate/Time - CV(5)
Slope LFO/ENV Rate/Time - CV(6)
Shift LFO/ENV Rate/Time - CV(7)
Shape LFO/ENV Rate/Time - CV(8)
Envelope Times are shortest at the bottom of the slider and longest at the top.

LFO Rates are slowest at the bottom of the slider and fastest at the top.

ADDAC System ADDAC320 Servo Control Module ADDAC System ADDAC320 Servo Control Module ADDAC System ADDAC320 Servo Control Module ADDAC System ADDAC320 Servo Control Module
Cat: 1088350

Motorised module allowing control of any knob that doesn't have a CV input - 4HP
Notes: The new ADDAC320 Servo Control is a nod to Neil Young's Whizzer, a device that was ahead of its time. This tool enabled control over amplifier pots through the use of pedals, resulting in far-reaching tonal variation. Inspired by this methodology, ADDAC's Servo Control incorporates a Servo motor into a 4 HP Eurorack module, enabling it to control any knob that doesn't have a CV input, or other gear such as guitar pedals - within certain distance constraints.

A servo is a specific type of motor that can be digitally controlled to work at precise angles. On the ADDAC320, it is controlled by a microcontroller which is able to receive an incoming CV voltage from 0 to +5v and linearly converts this voltage range to the 270 degree Servo motor range. Using a spring wire and metal couplers, the motor shaft is then attached to the target knob to be controlled, which will turn as the Servo turns.?Two other knobs, Maximum Angle and Minimum Angle, allow further control of the "sweet spot" of the target knob, establishing a smaller Servo range.

ADDAC System ADDAC220 Dual Envelope Follower+ Module
Cat: 1088356

An analog/digital hybrid for better dynamic range analysis,
Notes: The new ADDAC220 Dual Envelope Follower + is ADDAC's latest stereo envelope follower, which can generate CV from two simultaneous envelopes, enabling the user to control any range of other instrument/module parameters. The module is an analog/digital hybrid, allowing greater precision and analysis of an incoming signal.

The level of an incoming audio signal gain can be set by using the Gain control. Then, the signal is then fully rectified and passed through an analog envelope follower with a fixed short attack and decay. The analog signal is then sent into a 12bit ADC (analog to digital converter) of an MCU (microcontroller unit), and hereafter the signal is processed digitally. Whenever the ADC detects audio clipping the Clip led will light up.

Then, the digitized signal is then passed through a Savitsky-Golay filter for noise reduction smoothing of the incoming signal, before it is slewed using the Attack and Decay controls. The MCU keeps a history of the last sampling points and detects the minimum and maximum values, which reflect the current dynamic range and maps the signal minimum and maximum amplitude to 0V and the maximum voltage detected.

This new mapped signal is then processed via the Response Curve control balacing the response like one would with a standard AD envelope with LOG/EXP control. The Envelope Gain attenuverter control goes up to x2 amplification and sets the attenuation / amplification factor of the output range, while the red LED monitors this level with precise visualization across the full output range

ADDAC System ADDAC220 Crossover Module ADDAC System ADDAC220 Crossover Module
Cat: 1088365

Companion module to the ADDAC220 Dual Envelope Follower+, allowing the splitting of frequencies into 3 bands.
Notes: Crossover: enabling new processing possibilities: Commonly, audio crossovers are designed to split an audio signal into several frequency ranges so that each resulting signal is adequate for the speaker drivers they are connected to. Typically, low range is sent to the big woofers, mid range to smaller woofers and high range to the tweeters.

Introducing the ADDAC607, which enables users to split the signal into different bands. This creates many interesting processing possibilities. For example, by independently processing specific frequency ranges, one can add delay on only the high frequency range. Or, users split a signal to feed three different compressors for multi-band compression. Finally, DJs can use the Gain knob as a 'kill switch' to remove an entire frequency band, if desired.

Although ADDAC607 operates in Mono (for Stereo signals two modules can be used) there are two audio inputs, making it easy to achieve stereo to mono summing. The Mono Sum Out carries this summed signal. This is pre-gain and can also be used as a buffered Thru output.

The ADDAC607 is a great companion to the ADDAC220 Dual Envelope Follower+, since it allows extraction of dynamics from any signal in a focused frequency range. This allows it to separate the frequencies of a kick drum and a snare, for instance.

Elektrofon Klang 4-Voice Polyphonic Controller & Sequencer Module Elektrofon Klang 4-Voice Polyphonic Controller & Sequencer Module
Cat: 835247 Rel: 28 May 25

A 4-voice polyphonic controller module in 14HP.
Notes: Polyphonic sequencing from Elektrofon, the Klang allows you to program and perform chords and multi-layered harmonies. Circular clock-style display gives visual feedback and real-time indication of chord progressions.

Supplier's Notes:
«Klang» is a 4 voice polyphonic controller. It stores, traverses and manipulates chord progressions.

Overview

«Klang» is a unique take on polyphonic control within Eurorack.

Displaying chords in a circular clock-like display, and giving the user immediate control over every aspect without "menu diving" makes for an easy to use and inspiring module.

The module can store up to 99 chords, where each chord is made up of 4 voices.

Each voice is represented by a colored indicator on the clock-face which in turn is controlled by an encoder.

The indicators points to notes on the chromatic scale drawn in 360- around the clock-face.

Interface

The big grey encoder in the middle of the module lets you browse the chords - the active chord and total chord count is shown just above the encoder on the display.

The + button lets you ad a new chord. The new chord is added after the currently active chord, and the new chord is then set as the active chord.

The - button removes the current chord.

Inputs

The module has 3 inputs - 1 trigger input and 2 bipolar CV inputs.

Trigger input

The trigger input triggers a chord change.

If the direction input is unconnected, a single trigger results in a single step in the forwards direction.

Direction input (+-5V)

The direction input normalizes to a single step in the forwards direction.

You can feed this input a bipolar CV (+-5V).

Direction maps the total chord count to 5V. This means that +5V results in a single trigger progressing +n steps, where n is the total chord count.

A negative voltage will do exactly the same but resulting in backwards stepping.

0V equals no movement.

Transpose input (+-5V)

This bipolar CV lets you transpose the current chord up or down within 1 octave.

It is therefore a 5V/oct input.

The reason for this is that it is intended to be used with an analoge voltage source like the Pressure Points from Make Noise, or any other analoge sequencer.

It is much easier to fine tune a 5V/oct signal with a regular potentiometer than a 1V/oct signal.

Outputs

Each voice has a separate color coded 1V/oct CV output.

Clank Thererec Sketchable Dual Function Generator Module
Cat: 1084191 Rel: 28 May 25

Smart dual-function generator - 6HP
Notes: Thererec is a 6hp smart dual-function generator based on a different approach! Two modern proximity sensors have replaced all the Attack/Decay thing, and this not only saved a lot of space but also turned Thererec into a whole new thing: a fusion between THEREmin gestural expressiveness and a tape RECorder,

Thererec, indeed, can quickly capture your hand movements and translate them into complex Envelopes and LFOs, adding a lot of expressiveness to your set. Once recorded, your movements can be mangled in both time and amplitude; they can be cycled or triggered in one-shot mode, letting you create complex but synchronized control voltage streams.

A straightforward movement with immediate feedback: move your fingers, listen, and connect yourself to the environment. Your body will do the rest.

Thererec sensors will track your movements to generate a voltage flow, and the LEDs and the CV outputs will reflect those movements.

Clank Toolbox Problem Solver/Ideas Enhancer Module
Cat: 1084207 Rel: 28 May 25

Utility module - 12HP
Notes: Toolbox is the newest essential utility module for your modular system. It's designed to summarize and replace all those necessary small one-function modules, often overlooked due to their space and cost requirements. With a compact 12hp design, it offers a comprehensive selection of carefully curated blocks to expand and enhance the potential of every patch. The module is also specifically designed for internal interaction, allowing the combination of various basic blocks to achieve compelling outcomes, from complex rhythm creation to unusual sound shaper. Every system needs a Toolbox!

Since VCAs are always not enough, the first two blocks on the top row consist of two linear and very fast VCAs, which are also great for AM modulation. They are arranged from left to right: input (DC coupled), control voltage input (ranging from 0 to 8V), and output. The two inputs and control voltages are normalized from left to right, facilitating easy stereo operation. These VCAs, designed primarily for voltage attenuation, are versatile tools that excel in scenarios requiring linear response. With audio, their true strengths shine when applied to amplitude modulation (AM) scenarios, where the benefits of linear control become quite significant. Although they are optimized for AM and voltage control, using exponential envelopes with these VCAs can transform them into two highly effective and fast VCAs for audio applications.

The threshold CV (0-8V) is crucial for the functionality of the blocks labeled with an asterisk (*): AND/OR gates, sequential switches, and flip-flops. By default, the threshold for each block (the voltage that must be reached at every input for the circuit to operate) is set very low, allowing almost any positive signal to be used. By increasing the threshold with an external voltage, you will change the point at which the circuits marked with the * begin to operate. This may seem a little tricky at first, but once you master all the functionality of the Toolbox, the Threshold CV rarely found in other Eurorack modules will open up many more possibilities!

Still composed of two identical parts, the second and third rows contain two blocks of two-channel summing (A & B). This region offers many ways to combine two signals. From left to right, input A, B, SUM out inverted SUM out, and two Boolean operators: AND/OR While any input signal can be used here, the first two outputs are primarily intended for audio sources. In contrast, the Boolean outputs are more suitable for summing gates and logic signals. This setup also allows for the use of both logic and analog signals together; don't hesitate to experiment with Boolean operators using analog or audio signals. For example, connecting two different LFOs to the input of the summing section can create many gate rhythms from the two Boolean outputs by varying the threshold with external voltages.

Summing mixers/Mult Out: This section consists of two 3-input summing mixers connected in series: the output of the upper mixer is routed to the first input of the lower mixer, allowing you to combine a total of five signals with two outputs available. To break this connection, insert a patch cable into the first input of the lower mixer. This action separates the two sections, enabling you to sum two sets of three signals each. Additionally, the lower section includes a multed output by default.

A bidirectional sequential switch is located at the center of the module and labeled with three "I/O" tags. This often overlooked component allows for a wide range of functions, from the most practical to the most creative. When a voltage exceeding the threshold level is applied to the * input, the switch connects the upper left jack to the lower right one. If the voltage is below the threshold, the lower left jack is connected instead. Being bidirectional, each I/O can function as both an input and an output, enabling a 2:1 or 1:2 configuration. Try using the switch at audio rate; this can function as a versatile oscillator waveform shaper. Think of something other than this block as a simple channel switcher!

On the right side of the sequential switch, we have a more classic block: the flip-flop. This block outputs a square wave at half the frequency of any signal applied to the input, whether audio or gate. Two flip-flops are available, which can be used individually or normalized in series. This block is handy for creating sub-octaves of square format from any sound or as a clock divider.

Offset / Attenuverters: Located at the bottom are two offset and attenuverting channels. This section comprises two identical blocks that can easily attenuate, invert, and offset any input signal. Each block features an input jack, one output, and two small knobs. The first knob functions as an attenuverter, allowing you to invert and scale the signal at the same moment. The second knob, the offset, adds a static voltage of +/-0-8V to the resulting output. This functionality is crucial when seeking a more refined control over voltage or a signal. Without any signal at the input, you can use the offset knob as a manual control generator for any control voltage (CV) in your system. For example, try to change the threshold with it.

Clank Proteo Shapeshifting Stereo Oscillator Module
Cat: 1084164 Rel: 28 May 25

Stereo oscillator module with an internal-pseudo tape recorder.
Notes: The name, indeed, comes from ancient Greek mythology since Proteo was a shapeshifter who could assume whatever shapes he preferred. In this way, our Proteo, has not a precise sound on its own but a clever mechanism that permits to acquire and transform every signal into waveforms. What if you can use your envelopes, LFOs or any other signal as a sound source?

What sets it apart from other oscillators? What's very different in Proteo is its internal pseudo-tape recorder, which is capable of continuously acquiring and transforming any external signal into waveforms and morphing them from a basic sine.

In Proteo, waveforms are not a static digital representation of a sound; they can continuously evolve in a very organic way, and tape loop time is a fundamental factor: changing it will drastically affect the resulting output even with the same sources at the inputs. Slowing down the time will capture a bigger portion of the incoming source with more harmonics. As a result, increasing it allows to capture up to low audio rate signals or really small fragments of the signal.

Exploring the interaction between Proteo, the sources and the time will force you to change your mind about how sounds and harmonics can be generated: visualizing how different shapes can sound and looking for new sources to generate YOUR waveform is the fundamental idea behind Proteo.

Proteo is also stereo, thanks to the Span knob you can easily detune one oscillator from the other to create nice stereo effects. Beside the common pitch the two oscillators have independent acquisition paths and morph controls, each one can emit different waveform.

Clank Axis 3 Dimensions Amplitude Management Module
Clank Axis 3 Dimensions Amplitude Management Module (envelope generator synth module)
Cat: 1084174 Rel: 28 May 25

Dual envelope generator that features an integrated VCA, crossfader and voltage controlled mixer section.
Notes: In only 12hp, Axis condenses all the classical blocks for the audio amplitude management, redefining the classical envelope -> vca -> mixer path. The idea is to manipulate a sound over three axes: its length, its volume, and its place inside the stereo field.

Axis is a dual envelope generator that features an integrated VCA, a crossfader, and a voltage-controllable mixer section. The initial concept was to combine digital control over an analog VCA to closely emulate the classic Vactrol sound. After more than a year of refinement, Axis has evolved into more than just that. It offers exceptional versatility, providing a wide range of waveforms and the unique capability to simulate the natural percussive qualities of different materials. All this is in a complete analog path.

For the function generator section, we choose a faster method over the classic AD/ ADSR style: a selection of waveforms studied to give back a precise musical effect can be selected with the shape knob. The function length is independent from the actual wave shape and can be settled with the fader timeX from 30hz to 15 seconds. Also, setting the timeX fader at its maximum level will leave the VCA open.

A more typical collection of envelopes can be found in the first half of the dial. All kinds of sounds, from plucked notes to long volume swells passing through lead-friendly lines, can be obtained here.

More unusual, the last section of the knob is thought to simulate the acoustic vibration of a percussed object. Starting with a triangular envelope, from this point on, the more you turn the knob, the more rebounds will be added, simulating the natural ring of a material. Using this section at low rates can generate complex envelopes that could also be suitable for the vibrato-style AM effect. The envelope generator section includes a mode switch (cycle, trigger, hold), a trigger/gate input, an EOC trigger out, a function output, a CV for the envelope shape selection, and one CV for time.

As a cherry on the cake, a crossfader is placed at the end of the chain, blending both Axis halves. With a dedicated fader and CV control, raising it will invert the L/R output, creating nice stereo effects or moving the voices around the stereo field.

The VCA section is more straightforward: it has an audio input/output[1] and a VCA CV input[3].

You can plug the audio I/O to use Axis in its completeness and eliminate a lot of cables and mess!

Soundwise, here at Clank, we are all about vactrols LPGs, but since we knew it's not the most versatile option on the market, we came up with a different design. Blending together a VCA with a not-so-step filter, we obtained a VCA with a nice mild LPG flavor: enough to sound not so "clicky" but not too slow to inficiate really fast sounds.

By default, the envelope created by the function generator is normalized to the CV in of the VCA. Plugging a cable into the VCA in breaks the normalization, in this way you can use a different source to control the VCA and free the function generator for LFOs or modulation duties.

The range Y fader sets the strength of the envelope, but you can also see this control as a volume fader, which is nice since you won't necessarily need an additional volume for your voice after the Axis. Take into consideration that since the Axis VCA is actually a low-pass gate, lowering the rangeY fader also affects the cutoff frequency. The range fader also has its CV control to program dynamic changes to the sound. Basically, it's a VCA over a VCA that permits every note to be at different intensities. Last but not least, Range CV can also be fed by a unipolar modulation CV to obtain vibrato effects or audio rate AM modulations

Clank Chaos 6-Channel Aleatoric Brain Module
Clank Chaos 6-Channel Aleatoric Brain Module (clock generator/CV modulation/sequencer synth module)
Cat: 1084154 Rel: 28 May 25

Six channel CV/gate/looper module.
Notes: Chaos is excellent for modulation purposes or as a clock multiplier/ divider, but that's only scratching the surface... It takes a different approach to writing sequences than traditional sequencers, as it is built on six touring machines combined with an effective pattern and clock generator. One of the biggest challenges in electronic music production, especially when it comes to sequencing, is finding that sweet spot between hands-on control and possibilities.

It can be frustrating because many sequencers with lots of fun and playable controls don't always pack the punch you need. On the flip side, you have those bigger menu-based sequencers with tons of options but can feel overwhelming with all the programming they require. It's designed to help you overcome these challenges and make your music-making experience smoother and more enjoyable, whether you're jamming or writing a song you want to execute live.

Typically, a sequencer starts with a blank canvas. However, with Chaos, you begin with all possibilities at your disposal and can easily narrow them down to fit your vision with just a few adjustments. This makes creating a sequence that conveys a specific mood quick and straightforward. Once you have established this initial mood, you can loop it from the last step to step 32 whenever you hear something you like. At this point, you can choose to modify the entire loop or adjust the parameters of any individual step. There is no need for extensive menu navigation; simply pressing a button and turning the encoder gives you control over parameters such as gate time, gate probability, gate width, gate ratcheting, gate swing, notes, scale, slew, and slew amount.

The LED bar continuously displays the voltage output of the selected channel, as well as the gate and each parameter's value, eliminating the need for a screen. You can save and recall the entire sequence of its six channels at any time. Additionally, there is an internal function that allows you to randomize all parameters or just a select few within a specified range, helping you discover new melodies to work with.

Chaos is an endless reservoir of tunes and is incredibly quick and powerful for composing sequences, gate patterns, or modulation. In a short time, it will become the brain of your system.

Six CV outputs can be used for a wide range of applications; everything from chaotic modulations to fine-tuned sequences can be obtained. Thanks to its interface you can quickly adjust the voltages from where the random engine picks new values and then edit them in every aspect. In addition, Slew amount, Quantization, and external sampling are available on every channel.

Thanks to its 6 gate outputs, Chaos can be used as your system's quick and effective clock manager and gate pattern generator. Chaos also provides a stable master clock (10mS to 10Sec) from a separate output and can be clocked from external devices. On every channel, you can set Probability, Width, Swing, Ratcheting, and Time as a multiplier/divider of the master clock or unquantized in mS.

You can freeze the last 1 to 32 steps of randomly generated CVs and Gates in a locked loop when you hear something you like. Loops are not static; every parameter of Chaos can be used again to change the loop behavior in a non-destructive way.

Entering sequencer mode means taking control of every aspect of the looped sequence generated by the random engine. You can change time, width, probability, ratcheting, slew, slew amount, note, note deviation, etc., for each of the 32 steps of all six channels.

Thanks to the external input, you can substitute the random generator with external voltages, transpose a sequence on the fly, and a lot more.

If you're more into generative stuff or want to add a bit of craziness to the patch, you can use the Chaos function to randomize all the parameters on a channel. A sophisticated control named entropy is available on every parameter to set the distance of the new value from the last one.

Chaos can save and recall 10 slots where you can save entire sets or preferred channel behavior. Recall can also be done with an external voltage.

Make Noise MultiMod Multi-Modulation Module
Cat: 1067782 Rel: 12 Feb 25

Multi-modulation module in 10hp
Notes: A typically clever approach to modulation from Make Noise, the MultiMod takes a control signal and modifies it into eight related outputs, adjustable by phase and timing. Hugely versatile.

Supplier's Notes:
With MultiMod...from one control signal, we create many.

In a modular synthesiser, it is easy to create complex results via complex means - patching an elaborate network of independent control signals, for example. This can be very powerful but also cumbersome to set up, and potentially difficult to control in a meaningful way. MultiMod represents a new approach: it takes a single control signal and copies it 8 times, not unlike a simple mult, except that it allows you to modify those copies by weighted adjustment of their relative phase and speed. The result is modulation that is related to the source, but not identical at each destination.

Phase sets the spacing of the signal copies in time, weighted by channel, with each progressive channel getting more out of phase from the original signal and from each other. Spread allows for varispeeding the copies by different amounts, with each getting progressively faster or slower than the original Signal. Time determines the range of time captured at the input and therefore also the depth of modulation across copies of the input signal when Phase and Spread are manipulated. MultiMod also includes Tempo, Hold, and Reset features, and a variety of Read Shapes for temporal rearrangement of input signals.

When the input is not patched, MultiMod generates an LFO that is copied eight times and manipulated in the same ways.

MultiMod is built with the latest DSP hardware which offers eight high resolution outputs, with signal input and output ranges approaching the upper limits of the analogue eurorack modular system. All I/O is capable of a 20V range at +/-10V, greatly exceeding the typical 0-5V CV input ranges on typical digital modules.

Make Noise Jumbler 6x6 Channel Analogue Signal Combiner & Distributor Module
Cat: 1084227 Rel: 28 Apr 25

Signal combiner/distributor module ideal for hybrid control voltage mashing, complex waveform mixing, on-the-fly effects re-routing, gate and clock re-combinations and more
Notes: Designed for Make Noise's New Universal Synthesizer System but compatible with all Eurorack modules, the Jumbled is a 6-in/6-out VCA-based signal router, designed to manipulate and reimagine control voltage signals.

Supplier's Notes:
The Jumbler music synthesiser module is a six by six channel analogue signal combiner and distributor for the New Universal Synthesizer System or any Eurorack modular synthesiser. Jumble is one of the N.U.S.S. concepts where the routings of a patch could be re-configured, or jumbled, instantly via voltage control to produce variations on a theme.

Jumbler gives you powerful two-parameter access to the rearrangement of both origins and destinations for up to six modular signals. One to six inputs are routed to one to six outputs, in an order determined by the Rotate control, and combination determined by the Radiate control. Unlike a simple switch module, Jumbler's analogue VCA-based design is specially geared for smooth transitions and hybrid signals.

Jumbler is a great module for hybrid control voltage mashing, complex waveform mixing, on-the-fly effects re-routing, gate and clock re-combinations and more. Some folks have said it is like patching a stack of 6 RxMx circuits.
