Paul Hammock has been prolific over the past couple of years as his brand of lush, heady electro catches the ears of every label worth mentioning. Furthur Electronix, Unknown To The Unknown, Lunar Disko, 20:20 Vision - there aren't many of the key electro labels of the day who haven't carried his work recently, and now Craigie Knowes are doing the right thing and offering up another four pristine jams from the studio. There's mellow melancholy hovering in each of these tracks, but never at the expense of the crisp 808-esque machine funk. Mixing danceability with emotional heft, Hammock proves he can do no wrong when he dons his Cignol cap and gets busy with his gear.
