The EP-1320 comes with hundreds of medieval sounds and samples, a redesigned set of send effects and punch-in FX, a brand new arpeggiator and a collection of craftily captured multi-sampled instruments. The line input and the internal microphone allow you to sample your own sounds in just seconds. Whether you're into making sultry serenades or bubonic beats, the EP-1320 has you covered.

Become your own bard

Alongside a bucketful of one-shot samples the instrumentalis electronicum features a number of readily playable medieval instruments - play them on the pads or on an external MIDI keyboard.

Summon your inner troubadour

In Demus mode, choose any of the 9 medieval songs and jam along using the sounds and instruments on the four banks. Add some punch-in FX and you're ready to send any tavern floor into a frenzy! (Also perfect for banquets and fetes).

K.O. II just got its first major OS update! Teenage Engineering have managed to pack a ton of new knockout features like resampling to remix and chop sounds, sidechain for groove control, song mode to arrange tracks of up to 9,801 bars, an optimized playback engine with increased polyphony, plus extended MIDI support.

Resampling

Sample any sound source on or off the K.O. II, process it through effects and make a brand new sample from it.

Song mode

Song mode adds the ability to chain scenes and create longer, more structured track arrangements.

Sidechaining

Sidechain allows one sound to control the volume of another, perfect for kick and bass groove control.

More polyphony

Teenage Engineering have managed to increase K.O. II's voice count, now supporting 16 mono or 12 stereo voice polyphony.

More MIDI

Pass notes between units with MIDI thru, keep your gear in sync and pair up to16 devices simultaneously.

The sequencer engine of the K.O. IIO provides an intuitive, fast way of building up beats and variations using 4 groups x 12 patterns. Like most DAWs, you can instantly swap patterns per group, experiment with different combos to find what beat and bass lines work together. The commit button helps you freeze a point in time and move on, adding a verse or a break. It all happens in real time while playing.
