Review: Dimi Angelis makes a fine statement with his 13th release via the ANGLS label and it is packed with raw, authentic beats across four robust tracks that are destined to captivate dancefloors. The A-side features 'Shadowland' which immediately ensnares listeners with its lasso-like loops and spatial nuances. Meanwhile, 'Intergalactic' ignites the dancefloor with its mechanical noise assault and superbly uses the 909 to build suspense with punchy rhythms. Flipping to the B-side, 'Crionics' plunges you into a deep sonic abyss where tension abounds and finally 'Ice Warrior' concludes the journey with abstract yet fulfilling frequencies. Dimi Angelis returns with his distinctive sound, primed to electrify floors from basements to warehouses once more.

Review: Dutch techno powerhouse Dimi Angelis is at it once again, hammering down monolithic slabs of industrial pressure with his steely precision and stylistic focus. This time he's marking out his own territory on the Angls label, free to fashion any sound he chooses. On 'Biomodification' he's in no mood to take prisoners, and so we get a blistering percussive workout that will transport you to a strobe lit basement in an instant, while 'Exile' offers up a slightly eerier kind of sound peppered with sonar bleeps from the edge of existence. Oscar Mulero meanwhile takes those bleeps and weaves a hypnotic shimmer with them on his forthright remix of the track, and 'New Dark Age' finds Angelis once again firing his incisive patterns out into the void, searching for answers and finding only infinite space.
