Over the last few years, MOOER has released several Prime multi-effects devices, including the Prime P1, P2, S1, and most recently in 2024, the Prime Minimax M1. Excitingly, the company is kicking off 2025 with a brand new addition to the Prime family-the Prime Minimax M2 Intelligent Pedal.

Within this small multi-effects device, a whole lot of functionality is packed in, including an impressive 194 effects models, including overdrive, preamp simulators, cabinet models, delays, reverbs, modulation effects etc., and more. In typical MOOER style, though, the company took things a step further by offering limitless flexibility through the support of its in-house MNRS sample files, as well as third-party IR sample files. Essentially, this means that users can download additional tonal emulations and effects from the MOOER Cloud and third-party sources to the device, which they can then save across 80 preset slots.

As with some past models in the Prime series, the M2 sports a convenient touchscreen design, facilitating easy browsing through the device's banks of presets. However, guitarists are not limited to interfacing with the pedal in this way, as it also features two footswitches, both of which can be used to switch between presets in each bank. There is even a MIDI jack built into the device, enabling users to connect their MIDI controllers to extend the control functions, and the MOOER F4 wireless footswitch support is also supported. Essentially, these augmentation options facilitate additional footswitches to ensure switching preset tones is always as quick and seamless as possible within any workflow.

While the Prime M2 Intelligent Pedal is primarily designed for effects and tonal simulations, it also comes packed with an array of other useful features. Upon commencing recording, the drum machine can produce four initial beats to serve as a count-in cue, and of course, this can be combined with the device's tap-tempo control for dynamic use. Best of all, this feature can also be applied to modulation and delay effects, ensuring that they work perfectly in time with any performance.

Extra features are included to complete this all-in-one pedal, including a high-precision tuner with fully customizable frequency ranges. Guitarists can even leverage the M2's built-in Bluetooth input support, allowing them to practice, jam, and even produce looped musical structures over their favorite backing tracks, band prototypes, and musical pieces.

Perhaps unsurprisingly for existing MOOER product users, the Prime M2 also boasts an impressive variety of audio routing systems. As was previously mentioned, that includes Bluetooth input, as well as industry standards such as dual-channel stereo output, perfect for stereo delay and modulation effects. It also supports headphone output for those who wish to practice in silence, and even OTG recording, which means that guitarists can record their creations directly to their smartphone whilst on the go.

Speaking of on-the-go, MOOER is continuing its recent portable-play focus with the Prime M2 Intelligent Pedal, as it is fitted with a built-in rechargeable lithium battery with a battery life of up to 6 hours. Ultimately, this means that even a lack of local power sources won't get in the way of rehearsals and live performances. Combined with the pedal's lightweight and small build, it truly is an ideal addition to the pedalboard of any traveling musician.

Overall, the Prime M2 Intelligent Pedal is set to be an impressive new addition to the Prime series. The device expanded on MOOER's previous pedalboard creations, applying a more sleek, lightweight, and, most importantly, chargeable design. Now, the company is turning heads once again with the Prime Minimax M1, an upgraded device that improves functionality not only for electric guitarists, but for bassists too.

Packed inside the Prime Minimax M1 are 149 high-quality effect models across 10 banks, each of which contains 4 patches. These include amp and cabinet simulations and overdrives, along with dynamic, modulation, delay, reverb, and EQ effects, as well as empty user slots. Most notably, though, 20 of the amp and cabinet simulations have been curated specifically for bass guitarists, showing MOOER's dedication to providing support for this additional audience.

As with the Prime Stomp S1 and other recent MOOER multi-effects pedals, the Prime Minimax M1 is supported by the MOOER Cloud, a cutting-edge framework for preset sharing. Not only does this allow guitarists to customize and share their favourite M1 creations via the Bluetooth-compatible MOOER Prime app, but it also supports the importing of third-party IR files of up to 512pts. As a result, the 149 built-in effects are greatly expanded, with users able to simulate their favourite classic amplifiers, cabinets, and tones, whether they have downloaded them online or recorded the IRs themselves.

Taking an all-in-one approach to guitar practice and performance, the M1 also includes a built-in drum machine, complete with 40 different drum grooves and 10 metronomes. This goes hand-in-hand with the 80-second looper, with which guitarists can record electric and bass guitar phrases, play them back, and overdub them, all with simple footswitch presses. The looper can even be triggered automatically through signal detection, ensuring that loops always begin perfectly to form a perfect loop. Moreover, the looper can also be synced with the drum machine, a combination of which results in an all-in-one suite for songwriting.

Rather than the four footswitches found on the Prime Stomp S1, the Minimax M1 features just two footswitches, facilitating a more compact and streamlined design. Each footswitch is multi-functional, supporting a variety of tasks, such as browsing preset slots, triggering loop recordings, activating the device's built-in tuner, the tap tempo functionality, and interacting with the drum machine. The status and information of these features are visualized through the device's LED screen, along with indicators for Bluetooth activation, charging, battery life, and footswitch status. Two buttons are also provided-one to activate the drum machine and another for the device's power toggle.

In contrast to MOOER's recent flagship device, the GE1000 Li, the Prime series focuses heavily on portability and compactness. Weighing up at just 190g and 12cm in length, the Minimax M1 can fit comfortably into any backpack and most pockets, facilitating on-the-go guitar practice and performance. To add to this convenience, the M1 can be charged by USB through its built-in 2000mAh lithium battery. As a result, with the device's portability, guitarists can truly use this multi-effect pedal anywhere, anytime.

Continuing MOOER's reputation for providing flexible audio routing options, the design of the Prime Minimax M1 inputs and outputs are varied. Of course, the usually 14" mono input and 14" stereo output are available, as well as the 3.5mm output for headphone practice and monitoring. However, further options are available, such as Bluetooth 5.0 support for audio playback, allowing users to stream audio from another device to play along with. The device's USB-C port can even be used for OTG recording, allowing users to record their creations directly into the MOOER Prime mobile app.

Overall, the Prime Minimax M1 is yet another welcome addition to the pedal producer's range of multi-effects pedals. In particular, it marks a new level of portability for MOOER's device portfolio, showing just how much functionality its design team can pack into such a small box.

Similarly to the original, the Ocean Machine II offers two independent delay modules, each with nine different delay types of up to two seconds, including household names such as digital, tape, and echo delays, as well as more abstract options, such as galaxy, crystal, and rainbow. A high-fidelity reverb module complements these delays with nine reverb types, as well as a shimmer effect. Each delay and reverb effect can also be 'frozen,' creating static ambient drones, an effect that sounds particularly impressive considering the pedal's DSP upgrades.

While the original Ocean Machine's looping capabilities provided just 44 seconds of loop storage, the new addition features an impressive 120 seconds. To experiment with this feature, along with Ocean Machine II's other sonic capabilities, users can use an intuitive LCD screen along with 12 knobs (four for each delay and reverb module) to easily adjust parameters within the device's 'Play Mode.' Three footswitches are also provided to facilitate independent effect toggling, tap tempo control, looper interfacing, and a preset selector.

Once the guitarist has crafted an interesting effect chain, they can save their work as a preset and enter 'Patch Mode,' in which they can toggle between saved settings with each of the three footswitches. The Looper X2 is a dual-footswitch operated looper pedal aimed at providing fast loop creation with no shortage of space to save your favorite tracks and samples. With 11 song banks, each bank featuring 7 save slots, the Looper X2 provides a total of 300 minutes recording time (2.5 mins per slot in bank 1-9, 10 min each in bank 10, 11). Each slot also corresponds to common song structures as to make organizing sections and tracks easier, as indicated on the front of the pedal. Save slots and recorded tracks can also be managed using the specialized editor software that can be downloaded for free, and compatible with Mac and Windows PCs.

Additional features of the Looper X2 include a FADE knob for controlling and toggling the Fade out function for each loop. The MVP2 Harmonier is a powerful example of this - it's a versatile and innovative vocal processor pedal designed to elevate both vocal and guitar performance, offering tonal precision, creativity, and convenience in one compact pedal.

At its core, the pedal offers a versatile pitch harmonizer effect. The 'Key' dial allows users to choose to harmonize their important with any note in the chromatic scale, with the 'Sharp' LED button being used to select sharp notes. Once chosen, the 'Mode' dial facilitates further customization, offering 11 different harmony modes that control the harmony's interval. This includes all classic intervals such as octaves, fifths, and thirds.

MOOER has consistently pleased the guitar pedal market with its GE multi-effect range, and its latest addition, the GE1000, is set to be no exception. The GE1000, built with a futuristic and sleek "Walking Star" design, builds upon past GE products, offering an even larger range of guitar processing effects, preamps, amp simulators, and features than previous entries.

The GE1000 comes preloaded with an impressive bank of guitar effects and amp simulations, but this is augmented further through MNRS GE Cloud support. MOOER's MNRS files consist of IR samples from real amplifiers, facilitating authentic feeling tones that can be downloaded, uploaded, and shared via MOOER's 'GE Cloud' app for free. The GE1000 also supports third-party IR files of up to 2048 sample points, enabling further expansion of the pedal's portfolio of amp simulators.

Further adding to the GE1000's impressive amplification and tone features, the GE1000 includes a cutting-edge AI-driven automatic equalizer, a first for MOOER. This automatically adjusts a 5-band EQ based on the user's playing and music style choice, providing further possibilities for creativity whilst still providing the flexibility of a manual-controlled EQ interface.

MOOER hasn't only focused on tone and pitch with the GE1000 exclusively, which is illustrated perfectly by the integrated Groove Station rhythmic toolkit, consisting of a style-specific drum machine and a looper. These features have been designed to work both independently and in tempo synchronization, making them adaptable for all types of jam. The looper even includes automated record and count-in functions, activating the loop recording when an input signal is detected, providing a unique hands-free looping experience.

MOOER has always excelled at providing innovative UI experiences, and the GE1000 is set to continue this trend. The pedal features a 5-inch high-quality coloured touch screen designed for intuitive multi-effect workflows while keeping some fan favourites from previous GE pedals. These include the signature MOOER multi-purpose control dials, buttons, and a quick-access expression pedal.

Notes: The first pedal to get the X2 treatment is the D7 X2 Delay Pedal. With the 14 high-quality delay effects, this pedal features more than double the effects of its skinnier brother, the D7 Delay, while also adding stereo inputs and outputs. The array of delay effects in the D7 X2 have a wide range from classic analog and tape delays to more modern and experimental delays such as "Low-Bit", "Galaxy", and "PingPong". Adjustable parameters are different based on each effect and can be customized with the Tweak 1 and Tweak 2 knobs. Additional parameters can be adjusted by using the MIX, TIME, and FEEDBACK knobs. Timing of each delay can be adjusted with the TIME knob or by using the TAP TEMPO footswitch for quick adjustments on the fly.

Notes: MOOER has unveiled its latest effect pedal innovation, the MVP1 AUTUNER vocal processor. Unlike most of MOOER's products, this pedal is designed primarily for use with vocals, offering precise pitch correction and exceptional vocal enhancement features. However, MOOER hasn't forgotten about its primary audience, so AUTUNER still provides features that will interest guitarists.

Due to the pedal's primary focus on vocals, the device includes several features specifically designed for microphone usage. This includes XLR input and output, in addition to support for 48V phantom power, ensuring that the pedal supports both dynamic and condenser microphones. However, AUTUNER also includes standard 1/4" guitar inputs and outputs, along with convenient footswitch control to switch between mixed or individual signals.

The pitch correction features behind AUTUNER are highly versatile. With an LED button, users can choose between flat, warm, and bright vocal tones, each indicated by a different colour. Once a tone has been chosen, the 'correction' dial can be used to define the sensitivity of the pitch correction. Users can also press and hold the left footswitch to trigger the pitch correction's vocal synthesizer mode.

AUTUNER's versatility shines particularly brightly thanks to its built-in effects modules. The first of these is delay; the delay module can be can controlled with its dedicated dial, with users having the option to choose between tape delay, digital delay, slapback delay, or bypass. The pedal's left footswitch serves as a tap switch, which allows the user to determine the speed of the delay module.

A reverb module is also featured within AUTUNER. This too has its own dedicated dial, which can be used to morph between room delay, hall delay, and plate delay. Whilst the pitch correction features of the pedal are limited only to vocals, these delay and reverb modules ensure that the pedal has plenty of dedicated features to offer MOOER's guitarist fanbase.

As is common with MOOER products, AUTUNER features a wide range of control mechanisms. In addition to the left footswitch's dual functionality, the right footswitch also acts as a bypass for the pitch correction and effects, whilst still ensuring the tone processing remains active. The pedal's tonal enhancements can then be fully bypassed with the 'flat' tone option.

In addition to its core features, the MVP1 AUTUNER also includes a gain dial, a 48V phantom power switch for internal microphone amplification, a grounding switch, and a DC 9V 500mA power input. Overall, the features of this pedal ensure that musicians have everything they need for impressive pitch correction, vocal synthesis, and special processing, whilst ensuring that they never have to rely on external batteries.
