Lotus Unfolding vinyl

Ozric Tentacles return with their latest effort 'Lotus Unfolding', six meandering wormhole jams recorded in their 'Blue Bubble' studio in Fife. The opener, 'Storm In A Teacup' sees the Ozrics steaming headlong into the vortex with a typically jangly motorik ease. This trip is followed by the groovy chug of Deep Blue Shade, over which Ed Wynne's stroboscopic guitar pointillism glimmers and refracts. The meditative lollop of the title track follows, overridden by a blazing guitar solo and thick peals of fuzz. The band say of the album 'it's as close to a musical yoga session at the center of the hippocampus you'll ever experience', and we're hard-pressed to disagree! An essential entry in the Ozrics' bountiful back catalogue.
