Nicola Loporchio aka Nico Lahs is an uber-reliable name when it comes to quality house music. This one on 'Omena' kicks off with 'It's A Spiritual Thing', a super cuddly and deep roller with nice loose percussion giving it a mystic tribal feel. 'Ancestors Call' has a similarly heady and ritualistic feel as you're sunk deep into vast kick drums and balmy pads. That spine-tinging vibe carries over onto the flip: 'Angel Flutes' is another late-night lullaby with far-sighted chords and 'Journey To The Middle East' picks up the pace but is still an artful slice of deep house.
