Russian craftsman Alexander Lay Far has released his underground disco joints on Local Talk, Leng and his own In Beat Ween Music in recent times. Now the man resurfaces on Bristol's Boogie Cafe with "Reimagine Yourself EP", and it's a fitting home for these bass heavy and sampled based jams. From the pitched-down junglist stepper of "Spiral Movement", to the dusted down, broken beat emotions of "Something Else" or the bittersweet electro-soul futurism of closing cut "April" - this could be some of the best stuff we've heard from the talented Muscovite yet!
