Distinctive Collection Volume 2 (test pressing) vinyl

Kai Alce's NDATL Muzik imprint launched the Distinctive Collection series way back in 2002 via a small run of test-presses and hand-written white labels. It was packed with high-quality deep house fare - as you'd expect given the Atlanta-based producer's pedigree - but largely flew under the radar (in the process becoming something of a cult classic). Two years on, volume two is finally here... and once again it is an absolute treat for those who like quality, musically rich and mood enhancing house music. This time round, it features a quintet of cuts 'reimagined' by Alce, including superb takes on Groove Theory's 'Tell Me', Jade's 'Don't Walk Away' and new jack swing classic 'Is It Good To You' by Teddy Riley featuring Tammy Lucas.
