Notes: The DA-3000 is perfectly designed for stereo PCM/DSD recordings at high sampling frequencies suitable for archival masters. This magnificent unit is capable of recording analog and digital signals up to 192kHz PCM or 5.6MHz DSD. The unit records to both SDHC cards and UDMA supported CF cards.

The variety of inputs and outputs enable connection with all types of studio equipment, including audio interfaces and mic preamps. The analog inputs and outputs include both XLR and RCA jacks. The digital connections include S/PDIF RCA coaxial and XLR jacks to support AES/EBU. The BNC SDIF-3 inputs and outputs support DSD digital connections.

With the goal of making a high-quality audio recorder and ADDA converter easy to use, we designed the front panel with all of the necessary external controls and included long, brightly lit meters and display. The 128x64 OEL display allows you to check necessary information quickly, and the 24 dot level meters allows you to confidently monitor levels at all times.

You can synchronize the operation of multiple DA-3000 units by interconnecting their digital inputs and outputs. Files that have been recorded in sync will have sample-level synchronization as well. In addition to stereo DSD recording of Jazz and classical music, this also makes simple DSD multitrack recording of bands possible.

Use of a dual mono structure for the output circuit eliminates interference between the left and right channels and achieves high audio quality by maximizing the performance of the components. Two high quality mono circuits are built into the unit. The left/right channels each use one highly-acclaimed BurrBrown PCM1795 D/A converter chip.
The TASCAM DA-45HR, which is still used in many studios, uses a dual mono structure with NE5532 ope amps and BurrBrown D/A converters. By using an equivalent output circuit structure including DA converters of even higher quality that support DSD, the DA-3000 provides a portable high-quality monitoring system.

The internal circuit uses a fully-balanced structure that is completely resistant to noise from the inputs and outputs. This has a great effect on the output and input stage impacting the recorded audio. The input audio is digitalized by the BurrBrown PCM4202 ADC after it passes through the analog input circuit.

Operational amplifiers have a great impact on audio quality, so we carefully selected the NJM2114 and NE5532. In addition, we selected low-impedance capacitors featuring low resistance, low noise and high precision to emphasize audio quality.

In order to assure high-quality audio input and output, a stable power supply is indispensable. The EI core transformer incorporated into this unit has separate coils - one for the digital circuits and control panels and one for the analog circuits - making it possible to capture even higher-quality signals by suppressing noise. In addition, for the clock generator, we have used a temperature-compensated crystal oscillator (TCXO) that boasts 1-ppm precision.

Cooling fans inside equipment generate noise and can cause loss of accuracy when monitoring at low volume levels. With the DA-3000, we have achieved high performance in a fanless design, allowing you to maintain a comfortable monitoring environment that is free of fan noise.

Notes: Tascam's DP-32SD Digital Portastudio records an unmatched 32 tracks to solid-state media. Up to eight tracks can be recorded at a time through its combination XLR and 1/4" combo jacks. Input processing like compression and limiting are available during recording, as well as guitar amp simulation and multi-effects for use with the instrument-level input. A color LCD and channel strip knobs make mixing fast and creative. With its great sound, powerful features and easy operation, the DP-32SD is Tascam's biggest Portastudio yet.

The DP-32 has 12 selectable tracks between MONO or STEREO. Use a STEREO track for recording synthesizer, or set the track to MONO when recording guitar or vocal. Not only that, you can create ideal settings for each track. (set #9 to #12 STEREO, then set #13 to #22 MONO) If all tracks are set to MONO the DP-32 becomes a 20-track multi track recorder.

The DP-32, even with the high number of tracks, is one of the easiest multi-track recorders in the market to use. The The DP-32SD has 20 track-faders and one master fader. You can control any track with ease.

The DP-32SD has a 3.5" LCD screen and select self-illuminated buttons, making it easy to view your entire creative process. Some of the illuminated buttons include (SOURCE, SELECT, REC, MUTE).

The DP-24/32 have similarly employed rotary knobs to control qualities such as EQ, Effect Send and other related features.

The DP-32SD uses SD/SDHC media. These cards provide secure shock resistance due to the absence of any moving parts. The file format in the DP-32SD is FAT 16 or 32. You can transfer the recorded files to your computer via USB.

The DP-32SD has 8 XLR-TRS combo inputs. You can record up to eight sources at one time.

The equalizer for each track and each input are independent from other effects. Record like any professional studio with EQ for each individual track.

Use up to 8 dynamics effects at once, one for each input source. For example, utilize the built-in compressor effect for your bass, guitar and drums tracks. In addition, the DP-32SD have multiple guitar and mixing effects.

The DP-32SD is equipped with mastering effects for finihsed-sounding mixes. There is no need for computers when recording and mixing. The mastering effects section includes a Multi-Band Compressor, EQ, Noise-Shaping Dither, and a Normalize Effects. You can create a high-quality 2-track master file for transfer to your computer to burn a CD or share online.

The headphone amplifier provides easy monitoring in loud environments such as a rehearsal studios or live performance.

Notes: The TASCAM models SS-R250N and SS-CDR250N are the ideal SD card recorder/players having a variety of features with extensive terminal equipment applications and business applications. An FTP client function is added which enables the exchanges of sound source data with others via server communication. You can also keep the starting time accurate for recording and playback based on time management via SNTP. The remote control with the dedicated app on a iOS/Android device, and the mic inputs are also available on the unit which allows you to use in many ways with flexibility.

FTP Client function enables automatic uploading of recorded files or downloading audio files from the server:
The unit is equipped with a LAN terminal, so you can have a network connection. When using as an FTP client, you can upload recorded files from the SS-CDR250N / SS-R250N side or download sound files from the server. Since the unit is also act as an FTP server, you can also upload / download from the PC side. Without having to physically exchange SD cards, this is a safer and more convenient file management system.

Event List for recording, playback, download and other functions can be operated automatically based on the time set:
The Event List function has auto-play feature for audio files such background music and announcements -useful in retail stores and restaurants. Utilize the event lists for scheduled recording, playback, downloading and other events. By combining playback events with download events, audio files can be automatically retrieved from a server for playback. The function also enable centralized file management from a corporate headquarters to multiple locations -perfect for playing files simultaneously in chain stores.

Time setting via SNTP Client function enables event management with more accuracy:
An event list plays based on the time you set. The SNTP Client function enables you to obtain time information regularly from the server in order to keep time accurate.

Automatic Upload function enables recorded files to be uploaded automatically:
After recording, the recorded data can be automatically uploaded to the specified server. You can archive recorded data without extra time-consuming work. Meetings or lectures on regular basis can be recorded and uploaded automatically for file archive. Since the file uploading takes place in the background so it does not disturb your recording/playback work.

iOS / Android control apps available: allowing transport operations and remote control of various settings:
When the SS-R250N / SS-CDR250N main unit is connected to the same network as iOS / Android mobile device, you are able to remote control these devices with the dedicated app. Settings for every function such as transport control are possible in order for you to stay efficient and convenient in any kind of installation or PA/SR situations.

Supports SD memory cards (SDXC supported / 128GB maximum), USB flash memory, CD (SS-CDR250N only):
Versatile SD card and USB flash memory devices are well-selected to play and record media. The SS-CDR250N also supports CD media. The SD card slot is compatible with SDXC type cards, as well as SD / SDHC types. It complies with the SD card that contains up to 128GB memory.

Dual SD memory card slot permits the backup and relay recording:
