Review: Celebrating its 25th anniversary, the DiN label reaches a significant milestone. Under the careful curation of Ian Boddy since its inception in spring 1999, the label's catalogue has grown, reflecting Boddy's musical journey from the Berlin School of the 1970s to an expansive array of electronic music, seamlessly blending sub-genres. The DiN label has previously released numerous compilation albums, particularly the iNDEX sampler series, which showcases tracks from existing albums. However, this double album stands apart as Boddy invited most of the artists from the DiN catalogue to create new pieces. Spanning 142 minutes across two discs, this release offers a rich, eclectic collection of original music. It ranges from serene ambient tracks to dark, brooding soundscapes, cinematic electronica, and classic Berlin School sequencer compositions, making this milestone well worth checking.
