Bigger pads:
Big, bold, and in your face, the larger pads create more room for complex moves like flams and rolls. New technological updates make the pads more sensitive to lighter touches, for more expressive playing. Full colour, hi res screens:
With two full-colour displays and the four-directional push encoder, you can browse sounds, FXs, plug-ins, and instruments with a tactile, one-handed, completely visual workflow - simply find the thumbnail and load directly from the hardware. Plus, the high-res screens let you get more precise with your mixing, see an overview of your arrangement, or zoom in on waveforms to slice samples like a surgeon.

MASCHINE now comes with a studio-grade, 96kHz / 24-bit audio interface for pristine sound. Simply patch in a synth or add a dynamic mic for quick recording and sampling. Stereo line and MIDI ports make it a perfect centrepiece for any studio. Plus, it's USB-powered, so you can record anywhere with your laptop.
Faster workflow:
The new hardware layout cuts through the clutter to help you stay focused and get your ideas out fast. Instead of being hidden behind a shift-function button, some of the most-used features and functions can now be accessed directly with one touch.

8 touch sensitive knobs:
Go beyond tweaking with eight touch sensitive knobs. Touch once to activate special contextual menus, such as tag clouds, sound settings, and FX parameters. You can also map your most frequently used FX, instruments, or plug-in parameters to macros with the touch of a button.

Smart strip for new ways to play:
The Smart Strip opens up MASCHINE to whole new ways of playing. Use it like a keyboard wheel to pitch-bend and modulate sounds. Add new sonic textures, builds, or transitions with advanced performance FX like stutter and scratch. Or strum samples, synths, and drums like a guitar.

PC12 as successor of the PC44 is a universal controller for all kinds of MIDI controllable hardware and software.

You can combine two or more NEW MODULE devices to create a large system. The connections are on the right side to allow a back to back placing of two or more devices. Connect two NEW MODULES by a special extension port.

Furthermore, there are 4 MIDI-ports and one USB-port with various routing possibilities.

It is packed in a metal case with the same dimensions like the famous ELEKTRON devices so it's a great extension for these devices. But you can use the pot controller also with your DAW like a classical 12-track-mixer.

The device has 72 standard pots and 12 buttons in a 12-track-layout, various kinds of MIDI commands like control change, note on/off, pitchbend, aftertouch and program change are possible. You can program every MIDI command for every separate control on the device very fast and easily.

Of course you can assign the pots and keys to any of these commands by learning incoming MIDI commands, which is the same procedure you know from your software/DAW. The pots work with standard resolution of 7 bit to have full compatibility to any software and hardware instrument, effect and DAW. Use the internal 30 setups to save your individual settings. Backup and restore of all settings by sysex dumps is possible too.

The factory settings are perfect to control music and video software products out of the box if they are freely assignable. So any additional device programming isn't necessary for many applications.

Some special setups are preconfigured for use with ELEKTRON RYTM and ABLETON LIVE.

Notes: Perfect for use with Ableton Live and Traktor, the Killamix-Mini is a compact USB controller housed in a sturdy brushed aluminium case with solid aluminium knobs. It is the perfect companion to your laptop, whether you are using a sequencer, DJ-ing or VJ-ing, just plug in the USB cable and go. Despite having only 9 knobs, 9 buttons and a joystick, the Killamix-Mini can in effect be 144 knobs,144 buttons and a joystick.

By pressing a single knob you can select any MIDI transmit channel from 1 to 9, or, with a combination of two knobs, select the remaining channels 10 to 16. When you select a new MIDI channel, the current values of the knobs for that channel are stored so that they can be restored when you next select this channel, thus avoiding any parameter jump difficulties typical of units with traditional knobs and faders.

When the values are restored, the LED rings around the knobs indicate their new positions.
