Contemporary jazz artist Sven Wunder serves up two beautifully organic and flourishing jazz pieces here that tap into the life of the snowdrop. They signify the end of winter and start of spring, and there sure is a cautious optimism and subtle joy in the air as a-side 'Snowdrops' plays out here. The mellifluous keys are things of beauty, the swooning strings are an expansive addition and choral voices bring an extra layer of warmth and depth. 'Stellar Plates' is a more plaintive piece, with whimsical oboe, shimming cymbals and more of those achingly beautiful voices. These are two majestic small orchestra pieces for sure.
