Given Sven Vath's unique and long-standing career in techno, it's fascinating to think about what he was playing in the early years of the Dorian Gray and Omen, two pillars of Frankfurt nightlife. This unique retrospective looks back over the 80s and early 90s, touching on the early EBM, new wave and industrial sound Vath first came up through, capturing the early wave of Detroit techno and Chicago house, the first whispers of European trance and techno and lots of curveball selections in between. It's an exuberant, eclectic view into one of the most flamboyant selectors out there, and whether you're a fan of Vath or just love the era, these are three CDs bursting with incredible music.
