Having launched with a dinky 45 from Mr Dunbar way back in 2008, Future Times tempt him back for more with typically idiosyncratic results. Anyone who indulged in Dunbar's splendid set for Ramp last year will love the selection here, with the producer flushing the dynamics of house music in sublime melodics. On first listen, Dunbar impresses most on the opening track "Polo" - drowning a multiplicity of heavenly sonic colours in bass so deep you feel it in your toes, whilst the percussive direction always meanders in all new directions. However give the full release time and all feels right - "Ballroom" for example, is a wholly unique sounding waltz through cavernous slo mo mutant disco whilst B Side epic "Piano & Dream World" presents a utopian vision of what proper house music should sound like.
