Jorun Bombay is an edit master and deep digger who combines those skills on a huge number of killer records, and his latest comes on his own young JBOR label. It's a vital 7" that kicks off with 'Hangin' Out With Family' which reworks a classic Mary J Blige vocal into a slow motion and horn lead deep funky cut. On the flip, 'Love Thang (Is The Message)' has a more disco-leaning feel with lush strings, lovely hand claps and plenty of lavish synth work that brings it to life with an exuberant and elegant edge. Two classy cuts for dancefloor fun.
