Oh yes, we've been waiting on this reissue for quite some time! Originally out in 2009, Das Ding's "Triffid Farm" is one of those electro jams that simply stand out, and one which his fellow Dutch DJ's have been chucking on the decks a-go-go! The Rotterdam-based producer is elusive to say the least, but what you really need to know about him is how seductive his own personal brand of wave influenced electro is. "Triffid Farm" is a pulsating, ringing drum-machine track with a seriously funky dose of synth madness at its core - one for the heads AND the floor! On the flip, "We Can Rebuild Him" is nuttier, more Drexciyan in nature and just that little bit darker. Recommended.
