Copicat Tracs Vol 2 vinyl

The mysterious Watkins & Almadovar emerged earlier this year brandishing a singular take on analogue machine manipulations that teetered gloriously between vintage body music and malfunctioning experimentation. With their identity still very much under wraps (unless of course they are operating under given surnames) Copicat Tracs Vol 2 arrives and offers further intriguing explorations of the Watkins & Almadovar approach. A suite of three self styled "Darvaza's" commences with an A Side hogger that is Watkins & Almadovar at their most floor friendly, skidding through the sort of sludgy sonic terrain that recalls Frak. The flipside pair of cuts are more in line with the approach of their debut, with "Darvaza 2" a particularly nightmarish plunge through sulphurous textures and faltering percussion.
