Last seen on a punishing Punch Drunk record some two years ago, the lesser spotted Bristolian known simply as Andy Mac resurfaces on another respected local operation in Idle Hands, further strengthening the Stokes Croft-based label's er hand this year following that Outboxx LP and 12?s from Rhythmic Theory, Strategy, Kevin McPhee and the enigmatic Lily. Packing a hefty five productions across two slabs of wax, the Regular & Irregular 12" demonstrates Mac has been hard at work honing his craft away from the spotlight. Featuring contributions from Typesun and JayL, Mac's cohorts in Bristol clubnight FallingUp and noted producers in their own right, Regular & Irregular fits right in alongside the current brand vibrant soundsystem-indebted house music coming out of Idle Hands right now.
