I Just Wanna Love U (Give It To Me) Featuring Pharell (3:51)
Big Pimpin (feat UGK) (4:46)
Review: After a big opener from 50 Cent, TNT Rap Classics serve sup and quick follow on EP with the legendary hip hop kingpin Jay X this time the subject of some serious cut and paste work. The a-side is 'I Just Wanna Love U (Give It 2 Me)' and was released as the first single from his 2000 album The Dynasty: Roc La Familia. It's big on raw beats and has that silky bassline and steamy vocal hook. Flip it over for the intoxicating and snaking leads and crisp beats of 'Big Pimpin.' These are limited edition 7"s that get snapped up quickly so move fast.

Lapdance (3:30)
RunTo The Sun (3:59)
Review: It's time for a third drop from the TNT Rap Classics label, and this time they focus on an early 2000s hip hop gem from Nerd. Led by ageless front man Pharrell, they served up plenty of killer, catchy and hooky joints and two of them make the cut here. There are the gritty, sleazy sounds and grinding beats of 'Lapdance' with its iconic riffs and rhymes, and the more sunny and summery 'RunTo The Sun' which has woody breaks, natty chords and some smooth vocals from Pharrell himself. Two bombs for sure.

Beyonce - "Baby Boy" (feat Sean Paul) (4:05)
Review: ***B-STOCK: Slight surface marks ***

More explosive rap classics get pressed up to handy and battle-ready 7" here courtesy of the TNT label. This seventh volume in their on going series of old school dynamite joints kicks off with a banger from Blu Cantrell. 'Breathe' (feat Sean Paul) has the reggae man dropping his trademark bars in stylised vocal form with Cantrell''s own delivery offering a clean, icy counterpoint over nice low end bump and Cali-style synth lines. Paul again features on the flip, this time adding his words to Beyonce's huge pop hit 'Baby Boy'.

Nelly - "Ride Wit Me" (4:18)
Nelly - "Country Grammar" (4:27)
Review: TNT Vol 8 brings two powerhouse tracks from Nelly's debut album in 1999 to a 7" format on TNT Rap Classics. This hip-hop gem features 'Ride Wit Me' on Side-1, a collaboration with City Spud that peaked at number three on the Billboard Hot 100 and charted in the top 10 internationally. The track, written by Nelly and Jason "Jay E" Epperson, creatively interpolates DeBarge's 'I Like It.' Side-2 features 'Country Grammar,' Nelly's debut single that introduced his signature style to the world. Written by Nelly and Epperson, this track reached number seven in both the U.S. and U.K. and made a significant impact globally. 'Country Grammar' incorporates a melody from the children's clapping game 'Down Down Baby,' and the clean version replaces explicit lyrics with radio-friendly alternatives. Hip-Hop enthusiasts, collectors and DJs should be excited about this wicked 45,

Without Me (4:30)
The Real Slim Shady (4:02)
Review: TNT Rap Classics are a ghostly rap reissues outfit, operating in the shadows, but they've churned out a truly solid ream of stadium/megastar rap reissues on 7" for several years now. After lookbacks on Nelly and Beyonce they now pay due deference to Eminem, placing special attention on the rapper's early-noughts Slim Shady era. 'Without Me' was the whimsical, cheekily intoned lead single from The Eminem Show, finding Eminem lampooning pop culture, the media, and his critics. 'The Real Slim Shady', meanwhile, came before, with biting critique of the pop cultural fascination with authenticity: "Will the real Slim Shady please stand up?"

I'm Not Feeling You (3:29)
Everyday & Everynight (3:54)
Review: Yvette Michele was a breakout star in the glory days of mid 90s RnB, and her My Dream album still shines as a true gem from the era. Produced by, amongst others, Funkmaster Flex and Full Force, Michele's moment in the sun was brief but brilliant, but now you can enjoy two of her best on this perfect nugget of a 7". 'I'm Not Feeling You' is a funked up blast of empowerment, while 'Everyday & Everynight' takes things in a slinkier direction for those lights down moments. It's pure soulful perfection, from Michele's smoky vocals through to the bass-loaded production.
