The Circle (8:00)
Erotic Sky (5:49)
Space Shagging (7:11)
Review: Veteran producer Dave Moufang aka Move D has relaunched Source Records (which he ran from 1992 - 2005 together with Jonas Grossmann) with a series of 12's documenting his set of live video streams recorded during the first year of the pandemic. It's now into the third release which features 'The Circle', a truly sublime journey into the deep, delivered in the Heidelberg-based producer's singular style. Over on the flip, he serves up the dusty and blunted Sunday afternoon daydream of 'Erotic Sky' followed by the sensual slo-mo bliss of 'Space Shagging'.

The Golden Pudelizer (feat Ruftata110) (8:02)
NoqqiN (4:50)
Review: Heidelberg native Dave Moufang aka Move D had a recent reboot of Source Records (which he ran from 1992 - 2005 together with Jonas Grossmann) with a series of 12's documenting his set of live video streams recorded during the first year of the pandemic. It's now into its fourth edition which features the woozy hi-tech jazz beats of 'Tides' and the lo-slung groove of 'Freedom From The Mask' on the A side. Flip over and things go deep and introspective on the sunset groove of 'The Golden Pudelizer' (feat Ruftata110) followed by the blunted off-world beats of 'NoqqiN'.

Right About Now (feat Scott Grooves) (5:32)
The Bottom (7:17)
The System Is (9:53)
Review: The irrepressible Move D, like many artists in the same position, turned to his music-making machines during the pandemic lockdowns. He found solace in sound and has been releasing them into the wider world ever since so that we can do the same. Now up to a sixth volume the Source label, he again offers three classy and deep cuts of rich, synth laden house. The first features Detroit great Scott Grooves and is laidback and seductive with live bass and guitar soothing your senses. 'The Bottom' goes even deeper into beatdown territory with smeared vocals and 'The System Is' brings future jazz melodies.

Aspiration 2010 (7:26)
Something ’Bout The D (6:16)
Marshmellow Boots (6:54)
Review: ***B-STOCK: Sleeve damaged but otherwise in excellent condition***

Move D's latest release, Something 'Bout The D, on his own label Source Records, shows his enduring ability to produce excellent electronic music. Regardless of the genre, David Moufang is a name people trust and purchase without listening. On the A-side, 'Aspiration 2010' mesmerizes with its deep, dubby vibes, infused with low-slung acid elements and techy nuances that permeate the track. On the B-side, the title track 'Something 'Bout The D' channels Detroit-style 90s melodies with ambient undertones, creating a nostalgic yet forward-thinking atmosphere. 'Marshmellow Boots' on the same side offers a departure into deep house territory, with a light jazzy touch and ambient backgrounds that envelop the listener in a gentle, smooth embrace. Move D's ability to blend diverse influences seamlessly is on full display here, making Something 'Bout The D a must-listen for fans of ambient and deep house alike.

Jazz Is A Preacher (9:30)
Chocolate Fudge (7:57)
Ein Bett Im Hochbeet (7:13)
Review: Like his good friend (and regular collaborator) Jordan GCZ, David 'Move D' Moufang spent many of the pandemic lockdowns of the last couple of years recording live jams in his home studio. This 12" presents three more of these (probably lightly edited) workouts, which Moufang records using a wealth of outboard kit (think drum machines, synths, effects units and so on). 'Jazz is a Preacher' sees him effortlessly combine fluid jazz piano solos and life-affirming riffs with a druggy bassline, warming deep house chords and a cymbal-heavy drum machine groove: serious sonic bliss. 'Chocolate Fudge' is a loopy, blazed and quietly melodious chunk of Reagenz-ish ambient techno, while 'Ein Bett Im Hochbeet' is a pitched-down, dubbed-out chunk of impossible-to-define brilliance.

Reality Benders (6:04)
For Pete’s 60th (8:09)
The Boogie Lander (9:26)
The Boogie Lander (Reggie Dokes Other Worldly Jazz remix) (6:45)
Review: The much loved German Move D revived his Source label to a warm welcome recently. He did so in order to get out a load of live recordings he made during the pandemic. We're now up to volume five and the wealthy remains as high as you would expect of this synth master. There is an electro feel to this bunch with the slithering lines and cosmic paranoia of 'Reality Benders' followed by a dreamy and floating deep house tune that nods to his former long-time but now late collaborator Pete Namlook. 'The Boogie Lander' comes as a jazzy and off-beat house mind fuck and pulsing remix version by Reggie Dokes.
