Blast module is designed to make crafting great kick drums easier. It helps you tackle the challenges of balancing low-end depth, mid-range impact, and high-frequency clarity, so you can create kicks that feel powerful and sound cohesive.

Blast focuses on the essential elements of a kick drum: delivering enough punch to stand out in the mix while maintaining a full, rich sustain. It's unique envelope offers a fast decay with a slower release for amplitude, ensuring a tight, punchy transient while preserving fullness. Additionally, the Body Control feature allows you to increase the weight of the kick, adding depth and power without overwhelming the mix.

With tools like compression, envelope shaping, and subtle distortion, Blast gives you the flexibility to shape the transient for just the right amount of impact and definition without overcomplicating the process. Whether you're aiming for a clean, punchy sound or a more versatile tone, Blast provides intuitive controls that adapt to a wide range of musical styles. Notes: Dual-channel CV recorder, capable of unlocking some interesting modulation options. Record up to 1,014 seconds of CV signal per channel, then play back and manipulate.

Supplier's Notes:
This is a high-resolution dual-channel recording interface for your signals mainly focused on recording control voltages. You can record from 1014 sec at 172Hz up to 4 sec at 44.1kHz of signal on each channel, change the playback speed and scan through the recorded CV.

There is a dedicated attenuverter pot for your incoming signals. When nothing is patched to the input you can use the input pot as an offset/cv generator and record pot movements into the module.

It's possible to save, load your signals and settings on the SD card up to 16GB of space.

There are 4 different recording modes to choose from to make more complex signals to prepare your live performances.

MENUS
You can navigate through the menu by pressing SELECT BUTTON (Holding SELECT plus rotating ENCODER you can scroll the menu too)
Pressing ENCODER you can go inside the selected menu, each menu fuction can be changed by rotating ENCODER plus pressing SELECT.
1. Channel: Switch channels 1 & 2 on the OLED display (Holding SELECT for 3 seconds you can swicth channels too)

2. Display: Switch display (live or playback)
a) Live: Live signal monitoring from DAC output
b) Playback: Recorded signal displayed on the OLED

3. Play: Select modes either loop or 1 shot
a) Loop: The playback of the signal will play in loop until STOP is pressed.
b) One shot: The playback of the signal will stop when it reaches the end or if STOP is pressed

4. REC: Select manual, sync, manual mult and sync mult
a) Manual: Pressing REC will start recording, pressing REC again will finish recording, automaticly will start playing.
b) Manual mult: Pressing REC will start recording, pressing REC again will finish recording, automaticly will start playing.
(If PLAY is pressed during recording, or trigger is received to PLAY input recording proccess will be paused, pressing PLAY again or receiving a trigger to PLAY input jack will continue recording)
c) Sync: Pressing REC will wait for a trigger from REC trigger input to start recording, when a second trigger is received to REC input again will finish recording
d) Sync mult: Pressing REC will wait for a trigger from REC trigger inputto start recording, when a second trigger is received to REC input again will finish recording (If PLAY is pressed during recording, or trigger is received to PLAY input recording proccess will be paused, pressing PLAY again or receiving a trigger to PLAY input jack will continue recording)

5. Record Sampling: Select between different sample rate modes and time length of recording

6. Play direction: 3 different play modes can be selected. Forward, backward, pendulum

7. CV Range: Change the offset of the incoming signal from -5/+5V or 0/10V, it can also change the offset of the recorded signal

8. File Load: Loads signals saved on the SD card

9: File Erase: Erases signals saved on the SD card

10: File Save: Saves and names signals on the SD card

Notes: Etna is an advanced triple-control Analogue Multimode Morphing Filter & Digital Control, that has been meticulously designed for precise and dynamic sound shaping. It allows for rapid or smooth transitions between diverse filter settings, known as snapshots.

Each snapshot comprehensively defines all of the filter's parameters, which can be adjusted either swiftly or gradually. These transitions are controlled through an applied voltage or clock and triggers, with the flexibility to use up to eight distinct stages for creating complex filtering effects in various audio applications.

In addition to its morphing capabilities, Etna incorporates analog controls that enable real-time, expressive modifications to the parameters of each saved snapshot. This enhancement not only enriches the morphing process but also provides a tactile, live experience that adds significant depth and nuance to the audio output, making it a powerful tool for both studio and live performance settings.

The response of each filter has been designed with top-end components, incorporating Q and passband compensation. This enables its use as three multimode filters, with all necessary analog control.

Notes: Hi-hats are typically rich in complex, inharmonic frequencies that create a metallic, shimmering sound. Hi-hats rely heavily on noise components to create the "sizzle" effect. While analog circuits can generate white or colored noise using transistors or diodes, it's difficult to get the noise characteristics exactly right for hi-hats. Designing a noise source that consistently produces the correct quality and amount of noise can require fine-tuning and careful component selection. Hi-hats need a very quick attack and controlled decay to emulate the sharpness of a real cymbal. In analog circuits, achieving precise control over these fast transients is challenging.

Hatz v3 has an analog circuit including 2 types of noises; "Metals" generates stable, high-frequency square wave oscillations, which are essential for the metallic, bright tone characteristic of hi-hats. "Texture" generates a unique, digital form of noise that has a slightly "stepped" quality, adding a texture that's not as smooth as white noise but offers a desirable grit.

Independent envelopes for precise transient shaping, and a bandpass filter for frequency control contributes to a complex, high-quality hi-hat sound. This design approach provides flexibility, realism, and tonal richness that elevates the hi-hat beyond basic analog percussion.

Notes: Clever stereo filter with multi-mode options and mid-side processing for adding width. Works nicely with stereo inputs or when adding stereo to a mono signal. Good value.

Stereo 12dB/octave state-variable multimode filter with powerful imaging technique to enhance and alter the stereo field.

The resonance sounds beyond any other filter when you play with the stereo imager control.

With 8 different combinations and span to separate both filters, you increase the possibilities to treat your sounds and open them in the stereo field.

Applying audio rate cv to the stereo imager or span control input and sweeping the cutoff control will create a unique character to the filter.

The resonant peaks can be shifted around the stereo field, every cv input can be modulated up to audio rate frequencies creating a wide palette of sonic combinations.
