Review: New three track EP from the man behind the Super Discount moniker. Super Discount had a hand in the start of the careers of St Germain, Air, Daft Punk, Cassius, Stardust and Bob Sinclair. With its supermarket concept and aptly minimalist design, it was a vivid demonstration of the huge talent of such performers who were to astonish the world over the next few years. Apart from launching a whole new wave of talent, Super Discount established Etienne de Crecy as one of the most trend-setting producers of his time and he is still one of the leading figures of the French electronic music scene, a scene that still has a major influence on dance music in particular and pop music in general. Since then he has released his solo album 'Tempovision' in 2001 and 'Super Discount 2' in 2004 (alongside Julien Defaux and Alex Gopher) including the now classic 'Fast Track'. This is his first new music since the 'Super Discount 2' album. 'F*ck', 'Suck' and 'Luck' will without doubt ignite dancefloors in the coming weeks. Played already by artists such as Tiga and others it will put some much needed fun, beats, sweat and sense of humour back into in the clubs.
