Review: A captivating exploration of futuristic and otherworldly techno. Side-1 begins with 'Peuceus', a spacey techno journey filled with alien effects and an immersive atmosphere that feels like navigating a cosmic expanse. Following this, 'Dryalus' takes on a tribal techno approach, layering intricate rhythms with a forward-thinking, futuristic edge. On Side-2, 'Perimedes' delivers a heavier, driving beat, propelling listeners into a sci-fi romp that balances intensity with precision. The finale, 'Antimache', delves deeper into experimental territory, weaving alien-like textures and unconventional rhythms into a truly unique listening experience. This release masterfully combines spacey sound design, tribal influences and experimental beats, creating a soundscape that feels both adventurous and meticulously crafted.

Review: Dino Sabatini returns to his own Outis Music label with another mesmerising selection of deep electronic sounds that seem to take plenty of influences from dub, downtempo, ambient and trip hop. The open has a creeping melodic sequence that is forever subtly shifting and brings a sense of eeriness to the smooth and unhurried dub rhythms below. 'Inenarrabilis' is then a double quick flurry of tiny synth loops and trippy effects then 'Plena Lunae' allows you to breathe once more and sink into a vast dub soundscape. 'Ego Experior' shuts down with some paranoid baselines bubbling up through a slowly churning groove. Some quality work here for sure.

Review: Those seeking out the genesis of the burgeoning production partnership between Tony 'Edit Select' Scott and Dino Sabatini should look to an event in Paris last summer at La Machine du Moulin Rouge when the latter played with the former as part of the Precept series. Apparently the pair aligned creatively with the first results evident on Phlox, the Edit Select LP released on Prologue earlier this year with the Dino Sabatini collaboration "Survivors Of The Pulse" a highlight. This Mnemosyne 12" for Outis continues in that fashion and extends the run of fine collaborative releases on Sabatini's label, having previously issued joint 12"s with Dozzy and Gigli. There's a sensuality to the tunnelling, dubby rhythms of "Terpsichore" that sets the tone nicely, offering a contrast to the heads down minimalist sound design of "Euterpe" and the fluctuating, delicate harmonics of "Unrania".

Review: Italian producers Dino Sabatini and Maurizio Cascella team up for four deep techno excursions that favour atmosphere over propulsion. 'Pelias' opens with weighty low-end and filtered drone textures, slowly unfolding without any obvious peak. 'Medea' tightens the frame slightly, introducing syncopated pulses and subtle tonal shifts that never quite break the surface. On the flip, 'Euphemus' leans heavier into metallic percussion with hi-hats kept dry and tight against a background of detuned pads. 'Echion' ends the set in more submerged territory with barely-there synth lines circling a locked and low-BPM groove. The mythological track titles hint at narrative, but this is strictly functional material i controlled, minimal and mixed with club systems in mind. Not reinventing anything, but executed with clarity.
