Review: Lone has always been a sucker for all that's melodious, sparkling and loved-up, so it's little surprise to see him putting on an EP from Montreal house head Project Pablo. According to Lone, Priorities was inspired by, "the depths of adult contemporary and the moods and attitudes of Beaubien Ouest" (which, for the uninitiated, is a neighbourhood in Montreal). While this may be true, for the most part it sounds like any other Project Pablo record, which is no bad thing. Standout "Warm Priorities" - all Jack J bass, jazzy keys, life-enriching chords and lo-fi drum machine rhythms - is particularly potent, but there's barely a duffer in sight.
