Electro
Aquatronics - "Euphotic Zone" (4:22)
Aquatronics - "Biogenesis" (3:48)
Aquatronics - "Locus" (3:14)
MSRG - "Excursions" (4:20)
MSRG - "Podvodniy Um" (3:45)
MSRG - "Cifraquatic" (4:07)
Review: Analog Concept is going along nicely already and the third entry to its catalogue is a split EP from Fundamental Records associate Aquatronics and Heretic Electro's MSRG. There is a deeply oceanic sound, smoothness to the bass and Drexcyain feel to the electro squiggles of 'Euphotic Zone' that carries on through the equally serene 'Biogenesis' and dreamy 'Locus.' MSRG ups the jack a little but still lays out slick electro visions that look off to the future amidst solar rays and twinkling melodic stars. All six of the tunes are stylish and standout.

D5 - "Round & Round" (6:51)
Rekab - "On The Move" (5:35)
Amorsinfronteras - "FORM" (5:19)
Ross Alexander - "Double Dove" (7:29)
Review: Analog Concept present the second volume of their dynamic various artists series, offering up four tracks of proper electronic class made to last. Aiming at moods of outernational escapism and determined space-braving, all four tracks here - from D5, Rekab, Amorsinfronteras and Ross Alexander - scratch at different spacio-tempaural regions of the universal surface. 'Round & Round' establishes things on a watery note, while Rekab's 'On The Move' contrasts this with a mixture of exploratory, deep-padded electro wonderment and a sense of measured, stoic drive: the ideal affect of most astronauts, according to NASA. 'FORM' assumes a polylateral shape, blending janky electro offcuts with paddy pensees, while Ross Alexander rounds things off on a similar note of determination to before, melding hard garage house with blissy piano-stabs.

Star Dance (5:26)
Rogers Buck (4:45)
Galaxico (5:25)
Strange People (5:34)
Review: Analog Concept out of Saint Petersburg welcomes D82 who we think might be making his release debut. Whoever the artist is they must have been making music some time to have such a fulsome sound as this. It's characterful electro with well-designed sounds and an array of vibrant moods. 'Star Dance' gets underway with bubbling basslines and nice sci-fi melodies that carry over into 'Rogers Buck,' another celestial electro charmer. 'Galaxico' is more deep space electro goodness with glowing lines and golden chords then the broken beats come to the fore on the lush closer 'Strange People.'

Techno
Fasme - "Crying Robot" (5:20)
CCO - "Solar Sail" (5:36)
Unwonted - "Frontier" (4:40)
Serge Geyzel - "Flash" (5:19)
Review: Analog Concept Vol. 3 delivers a striking collection of forward-thinking deep techno, blending electro, acid, and sci-fi elements to push boundaries across its four tracks. Fasme opens with 'Crying Robot', a standout acid electro monster that's both raw and energetic, setting the tone with its sharp, robotic intensity. CCO's 'Solar Sail' follows, bringing a darker, sci-fi edge to the mix. Its blend of EBM and new beat creates a timeless, futuristic trip that feels immersive and cinematic. Side-2 kicks off with Unwonted's 'Frontier', a high-energy electro track laced with trance elements, adding a hypnotic, rave-ready vibe. Serge Geyzel closes the compilation with 'Flash', a heavy-hitting deep electro cut that dives into darker, alien soundscapes. Its deep techno undercurrents enhance the track's sense of foreboding and mystery. Overall, Analog Concept Vol. 3 captures a thrilling array of deep, futuristic sounds. Take a journey through techno's more experimental and atmospheric realms with this Russian label. Each track stands strong on its own while contributing to the cohesive, forward-thinking vision of the compilation.

Koova - "Is This Machine Recording" (5:04)
Koova - "Mammal" (5:08)
Koova - "DLD" (5:07)
MSRG - "Bubble07 Getaway" (3:46)
MSRG - "Operator 86" (3:43)
MSRG - "Zazerkalye 22" (4:42)
Review: Koova is head of London Modular Alliance and MSRG has previously realised on this label. Both take care of one side each of this new 12" and mangle synthesizers, modulars and drum machines to alluring effect. The worlds of IDM, electro and techno minimalism are all referenced with 'Is This Machine Recording' making for a dreamy start. 'Mammal' then ups the ante with slick and high speed electro rhythms, and 'DLD' layers up balmy pads and clacking hits. For his part, MSRG keeps it fully electro-funk on 'Bubble07 Getaway,' which for us is the standout.

Lost Heaven (5:46)
Lost Heaven (John Beltran remix) (6:32)
Cosmic Tides (5:28)
Magnetic Resonance Imaging Day (5:05)
Review: Low Tape is an artist slowly moving up through the ranks thanks to his fresh sounds, which mix up techno, acid and electro. He takes care of the sixth EP from his homeland's Analog Concept label and does another fine job. 'Lost Heaven' opens up with the sort of celestial synth designs that get your head amongst the stars. Detroit ace John Beltran then comes through with a remix full of his textbook synth designs and symphonic techno grooves. 'Cosmic Tides' from Low Tape then sinks into a nice rich, rubbery and undulating techno exploration that has galaxies flying by as you cruise through space. 'Magnetic Resonance Imagine Day' closes with more meaningful synth lines over sleek drums.

East At Dawn (5:18)
East At Dawn (Gilbert remix) (6:27)
Paradox Of Automation (5:24)
Ghosts Of Tomorrow (5:42)
Review: Mihail P's 'Multitudes' EP on Analog Concept is a gem for those who appreciate techno with ambient and emotional undertones, aligning with the subtle artistry of Nuron, John Shima, Derek Carr, CIM and Future Beat Alliance. The opener, 'East At Dawn', sets a delicate tone, weaving beautiful ambient techno melodies with hints of electro. Its graceful synths and deep bass resonate with a sense of introspection, creating a lush atmosphere. Another name in this style that is making waves is the fantastic Gilbert. His remix of 'East At Dawn' shifts gears slightly, infusing an upbeat energy and a more tech-focused rhythm while maintaining the Detroit-inspired warmth of the original. On Side-2, 'Paradox Of Automation' balances gentle beats with an intricate, celestial melody. The track's refined production and harmonious layers lend it an otherworldly quality. The EP closes with 'Ghosts Of Tomorrow', a triumphant, melodic composition that feels both uplifting and ethereal, like a final, hopeful transmission from another realm. 'Multitudes' showcases Mihail P's talent for blending ambient techno with emotive depth. Another winner in his discography.

Reedale Rise - "Borderland" (6:37)
Nullptr - "AT Field" (4:32)
Datawave - "Mercury Dawn" (5:43)
Ivna Ji - "Alpha Dial" (4:58)
Review: Analog Concept launched last year with a release from Clocked Devices and Strange FM, and now they're back with a various artists 12" that widens out the scope of the label and establishes some sturdy connections. Reedale Rise is a wise link to make - the UK electro producer is on searing form at the moment with his melodious, expressive style. Nullptr, also to be spotted on scene-leaders CPU, is equally firing on all cylinders with the dystopian shakedown "AT Field". Datawave takes a crafty approach to machine funk with snaking arpeggios and needlepoint drum programming on "Mercury Dawn", and Ivna Ji brings a more vintage, emotive electronica flavour to "Alpha Dial".

Concept 1 (5:48)
Concept 2 (6:14)
Concept 3 (6:10)
Concept 3 (Convextion remix) (7:26)
Review: Russian label Analog Concept keeps on rolling out these sublime deep techno excursions and behind this one is ReKaB, who has truly impressed with a frankly mad amount of music on labels like Intellitronic Bubble, Moatun 7, NightFlight and Fourier Transform. 'Concept 1' here has far sighted feels - pads that disappear to infinity and convey a deep sense of space over subtle minimal rhythms. 'Concept 2' is a bright, disco-tinged electro cut and 'Concept 3' is then sophisticated astral electro with lithe lines and rubbery bass. The Convextion remix adds some weight and makes it into a voyaging techno cut full of movement.

Blurred Nights (4:34)
No Chains To Bind (4:54)
A Heart Thats True (5:23)

Music Machine (5:12)
Review: Russian label Analog Concept introduces a new electro venture here, all the way from Sweden and helmed by seasoned artists Alexander Johansson and Mattias Fridell. Under this new Unwonted moniker, they channel their expertise into melancholic, warm, vocal-driven electro music that leans on Detroit techno, electro, and hip hop. The rather excellent track 'A Moment Like This' evokes a dystopian, retro-romantic future that wanders through a desolate, crumbling cityscape, contemplating distant memories and the stark reality of the present moment. This composition encapsulates their narrative-driven approach and mixes up evocative atmospheres with a nostalgic yet forward-thinking musical palette.

No Disguise (4:48)
Clarity (6:15)
Mirage (7:56)
Mirage (Nullptr remix) (5:46)
Review: Zobol is a reliably prolific entity within the current electro scene, and he's at it once again with this fresh EP for Analog Concept. The record opens up with the positively lush sound of 'No Disguise', which lands somewhere between the dreamiest delights of Detroit and sunkissed Florida machine funk. It's a record to blow the Winter blues away, that's for sure. 'Clarity' meanwhile has a noirish braindance quality to it, and the title track nudges up into acidic, borderline ravey territory with a sweet accent in the synth department. CPU-signed artist Nullptr steps up for a remix of 'Mirage', softening its edges and getting expressive with the synth work.
