Chiraya was formed when those crazy norwegians, Pha5e & Furmit, decided to step back to start working with machines for a more analog sound.
The boys have both worked solo with music since the late 90's, but began to work together in the studio in late 2010.
Together they have released more than 100 tracks and remixes on their own and other labels. With dj gigs in in Norway, Europe and USA they both agree it´s been a great journey and experience so far, but by 2015 it was time to go underground and renew themselves.
Back in the studio the boys started playing with a range drum machines, synths, sampling with cassette players and effect boxes. The result was a brand new sound and huge library of loops and other quirky grooves.
At the end of June 2016 they debuted with two EP´s on Tripmastaz label Plant 74. And soon after UC Beatz of Entrepôt Records signed two tracks for his ER07 release on wax.
Chiraya continues to play with machines in the studio with a passion for raw and distorted techno-inspired house.
