Zen Spiders vinyl

This has been a long time coming! Steve Moore's Zen Spiders 12" for Future Times was first announced for release nearly twelve months ago, however in this period the DC label have encountered all manner of pressing plant issues that have played havoc with their release schedules. Such delays are no doubt frustrating in the extreme for the label and artist, though some solace can be found in the timeless, luxurious quality of both tracks from Moore here. Lead track "Zen Spiders" is a typical Moore production, commencing with a wondrous cinematic bed of synth textures upon which a sleepy bassline and crunchy percussion emerge to nudge the track forth across it's seven minutes. On the flip "Lwaxana" pairs a supple arpeggiated bassline with taut motorik drums with this dual rigidity offset by the vast swathes of synths that will you into a state of opiated calm.
