Review: Matthew Dear's dark reign as Audion follows its continuous arc with two new songs, "Noiser" and "Fred's Bells". The seventh instalment in the Audion series features the deepest cuts yet, providing a disturbing concoction of dancefloor magic that is distinctively Audion. "Noiser" is strictly for the late-night crowd, finding the more twisted side of Audion. "Noiser" subversively creeps forward, only to gain momentum and tear the club apart in its mayhem. "Fred's Bells" is a sign of progression into more subtle, but no less incendiary tracks, echoing Audion's chart-topping remix for Hot Chip. A hypnotic bassline creeps along while low-level chattering fetters off in the distance. This is music for the morning after(-party), replenishing your energy, as tertiary rhythms emerge from the shadows, pulling you further into the spell.

Subtracting some letters from the title 'Minimize To Maximize' and adding new artists to the collective, MINUS returns with a new compilation simply titled 'min2MAX'. The package is conceptually connected and musically collected by the eyes and ears of Minus bringing together a variety of dynamic music through a creative index of outlets. The album is supported by tour dates in Europe during April and in North American during May plus a special gallery installation by Matthew Hawtin at the Cc:Gallery in Berlin.

Review: It is hard to believe this EP is now more than 15 years old, because it certainly doesn't sound like it. It is one of literally hundreds of Omar S tunes that has more than stood the test of time for the way it so beguiling blends cold machine sounds and mechanical rhythms with irresistible synth craft. 'The Further You Look The Less You Will See' is all low-fi low end minimalism and glowing melodic warmth. 'Tecky Alexander' is a playful take on that with jittery rhythms and poppy melodies that allow your mind to wander and get lost in the subtly shifting loops. Perfection.

with some tasty releases on Desolat, Funkwelle.net and whose thumping 'Emissions' features on the Minus compilation 'EXPANSION
Contraction'. The beauty of this rework is that it doesn't stray far from the original vibe. Dubfire pays the track the full respect it deserves,
adding contemporary beats, bass and hat patterns, subliminal efx and tweaks that perfectly compliment the EQ sweeps and machine gun
snare rolls of the original.
Panikattack (originally released on Plus 8 in 1996 as the B side to Sickness) gets a more radical overhaul with Guido Schneider turning in
a typically pragmatic version. By excavating and enhancing the gritty funk that lies buried under the feverish textures of the original, he
discovers a totally new dimension. Combining the plastik elements with his own trademark swing and razor sharp percussion programming,
Schneider coaxes the track out of the shadows for some serious peak time action as the bassline bounds forward relentlessly occasionally
enveloped by stuttering delays, to negotiate its way through the dubbed out breakdown and on to the end.
