The M3 MicTrak offers filmmakers the ability to enhance their content with pristine sound quality. Designed to be mounted on a camera, the stereo microphone with built-in recorder records every sonic nuance with 32-bit float technology.

32-bit float recording

The M3 records clipping-free audio at all times. Thanks to 32-bit float recording, no equalisation is necessary. Whether it's dialogue, sound effects or ambience in outdoor recordings, you'll always get a perfect recording.

The specially designed elastic mount keeps weight to a minimum and ensures minimal transmission of handheld noise.

Mono and stereo modes

Switch easily between mono and stereo modes. Mono mode is ideal for dialogue recording. 90O provides accurate, transparent stereo recording. 120O stands for a generous stereo pick-up, which is especially recommended for atmosphere or sound effects.

More flexibility in post-production

The M3 saves a backup file in mid-side RAW format at any time, giving you the flexibility to adjust the stereo width of the recording in post-production.

Backup for your recordings

Use the 3.5mm stereo output to connect the M3 to your camera and record a backup there. This is especially useful for synchronising audio to a video.

Effectiveness in post-production

With the M3 Edit and Play software, you can adjust the stereo width of your recordings and normalise your files to prepare them for dubbing and post-production.

Notes: The H2essential is the only Handy Recorder with three internal microphones. With the ability to select different mic patterns, it gives creators more options than ever before. Using the BTA-1* Bluetooth Adapter, pair one or more H2essentials with your iOS device to remotely hit record and sync timecode. The H2essential is designed with Accessibility for the blind and visually impaired. Navigate the menu with audible descriptions through the built-in speaker or headphones. Creators can choose English, Spanish, French, Japanese, German, Italian or Chinese.

The specially designed windscreen for the H2essential provides wind protection when recording outdoors. The custom fit gives access to controls while the windscreen is attached.
