Zadig is a well-regarded French techno producer and for good reason. If you're unsure, lock into this new one on Syncrophone with its four perfectly executed cuts that fuse Detroit, electro and techno in fizzling and sizzling forms. 'Gradient' is a rickety, dubby but punchy opener, 'Edge To Hapiness' is more nuanced with its eerie cosmic chords and angle drum chatter, then 'Fire Hunter' is a raw, frazzled and intense warehouse jam. Last of all is the chattery class madness and undulating bass tightness of 'Spectrum Disorder'.
