Tiptop Audio Mantis 2x104HP Modular Synthesiser Case (green, UK power supply)
With Mantis, Tiptop took their years of experience with Eurorack to create a low-cost case that makes the Eurorack modular synthesizer look, work, and feel like a professional instrument. Mantis is an instrument that is at home on stage, touring, or in the center of the studio.
Mantis has two rows of 104HP for you to rack your modules. It comes fully powered and assembled, just drop in your modules and play.
Using its sophisticated leg mechanism, you can set it to three different positions: 0, 45, and 90 degrees.
Power Power and more Power! With Mantis, say bye-bye to the tedious, never-ending calculation of current consumption for the i12V power. Mantis comes with a juicy Zeus power supply that delivers plenty of power both now and for the future.
Mantis is beautiful and the color contrast between legs and body gives it its identity. Legs are offered in 4 different colors so anyone can find the right look.
Mantis comes with real Z-Rails made according to Eurorack enclosure standards. No sliding nuts or wrong spacing! It also has keyed power connectors to help protect your modules from damage from plugging the power in in reverse.
Using the optional bracket accessory Mantis can be doubled up to 416HP! Multiply your Mantis and watch your studio setup grow...
Weighing only 3kg / 6.5lb, Mantis is so light, traveling has never been so relaxed.
The Dual Mantis Studio Brackets pair lets you connect two Mantis together in a robust and elegant solution. This setup is fixed and is recommend mainly for studio use. The brackets are cut precisely by laser from a sturdy metal and then coated twice for a nice smooth finish that matches the Mantis light gray color. They come with sixteen screws and special washers that help hold the screw in place during assembly and keep a tiny gap between the brackets and the Mantis. Installation is fairly simple and takes about 30 minutes to complete.
***UPDATE - MAY 2021 ***
As of May 2021, all Mantis cases shipped have a small update to the design. The connector for SyncBus is no longer included. This connector was never used as Tiptop didn't develop the cable for it, and the connector is no longer in production by the manufacturer so it was removed. The Mantis still has the same power supply and functions as before.
