Sun Ra's Lanquidity album from 1978 is one of the greats. It becomes even more special at the hands of Strut, though, who serve up this definitive edition across eight sides of vinyl, with an all new 12-page over-sized booklet. As well as all the tracks of the original album, also included here are alternative mixes by Bob Blank originally released in limited quantities for a 1978 Arkestra gig at Georgia Tech. They are just as fluid and star-gazing as the original versions, with ad hoc solos and supremely liquid grooves washing over you time and again.
