The Prophet 12 Module itself occupies 4U of rack space. However, when oriented for rack mounting, the input and output cables will protrude into the space above it, so it requires at least 5U of rack space. Sequential recommend using MIDI and audio cables with right angle plugs to minimize the space needed. The kit includes a ventilated 1U rack panel that can be used to fill the space above the Prophet 12 Module.
