Like the other Italian producers who record for Cosmic Garden's Cosmic Rhythm label, Michele Lamacchia specialises in the kind of dreamy, colourful, atmospheric and occasionally rush-inducing deep house that evokes glassy-eyed memories of turn-of-the-90s Italo-house. It's a luscious and always expertly realised trademark sound, as this EP - his first for two years - deftly proves. Opener 'Open Your Mind' is an organ and piano-laden skip through sunrise-ready Italian dream house revivalism of the sort guaranteed to put smiles on faces, while 'Think About It' is a chunkier but no less colourful slab of vintage Italian deep house revivalism. Over on side two, 'Love' is an undeniably saucer-eyed, sun-soaked affair, while 'Feel The Groove' is a more percussive and bass-heavy slab of Montego Bay style dancefloor gorgeousness.
