Last time out, the mystery re-editors and remixers behind the RESPECT series turned their attention to cuts from Gil Scott-Heron and - fittingly given the banner under which they release - Aretha Franklin. Here they deliver versions of tracks from two more greats, with the aim being heavier, funkier takes that work a little better on house dancefloors. On the A-side they tackle what sounds like a disco-era Chaka Khan classic, beefing up the beats while leaving much of the song above in-tact. Over on the flip they successful tamper with Wham's 'Everything She Wants', adding a rolling house beat, while emphasising the original's killer synth bassline and dubbing out some of the vocals and instrumentation.
