.Nimbus Quartet were also known as Moral and featured producers Dave Stevens and Woody McBride cooking up their own slick fusion acid, techno and house. Their 'Chunkafunk EP' from 1995 is one other best and it has now been newly remastered for this nice heavyweight reissue on Sounds. 'Your House Is Yours' is a heavyweight bumper with emotive vocal stabs and off-grid chords bringing the rawness. Then comes part II & III Simultaneously in a more late night and mysterious track defined by its whimsical pads. The epic 16 minute workout that is 'Feel Feel Feel' is high speed cosmic tech house and 'Invasion Of The Touchy Feelies' is a masterful mix of gritty tech loops and hard-edge drum funk.
