A generation-spanning EP, this joins the dots like very few new disco cuts. Leee John is best known for fronting 80s pop soul act Imagination. His distinctive falsetto still trembling with relevance, it's clear he's still got the groove. Produced by Doves' Jez Williams and mixed by Graham Massey, the original version is a deep, driving synth-heavy yearner that sets a solid platform for the remaining remixes. Ashley Beedle and Moodymanc provide two swinging, heads down versions both cutting and strutting with modern disco grace and jacking organic beats while Max Essa highlights the synthetic nature of the original with his thumping DFA-style jam.
