We're big fans of Zurich imprint Lux Rec at Juno HQ; dark and dirty modern techno with a pinch of electro aesthetic and that's always a good recipe. We are equally big on veteran Swedish tape manglers Frak whose activities on their own Borft label dates back to the 1980s!! A unison between Frak and Lux Rec is likely to light our fires! And Primitive Drums does that and more! The pounding groove on opener "Radiant Dominance" gets things off on a good start with its resonance that builds to a near acid moment. On the flip "Lance Stroboscopes" has low toms that beat you into submission alongside a grinding melody that builds and builds and "Flashrock" is a cheeky downbeat groove that's just perfect to use as that closing track you've always been looking for.
